Welcome to Paradise Point on Mayfield Lake! Tucked away in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains midway between majestic Mount Rainier and fitful Mount Saint Helens, Paradise Point is a little slice of heaven. We invite you to come enjoy all of the pleasures cozy mountain living has to offer. Soak in the sweeping vistas of Mayfield Lake and the Cascade Mountains while strolling among towering trees, relaxing in the hot tub, lounging on the private dock, or warming your hands around the open campfire.

Paradise Point is truly unique because it is one of only a handful of private waterfront properties on the whole lake. Rentals are available year around to guests who enjoy all types of outdoor activities. Swimming, boating, fishing, hunting, snow skiing, hiking, sightseeing, golf, whitewater rafting, bike riding, canoeing, and much more are within a short distance of Paradise Point on Lake Mayfield.

Facilities available include the Mount St. Helens House and the Cascade Cabin. All guests have access to the waterfront, private dock, fire pit, picnic tables, horseshoe pit and outdoor bathroom. With total sleeping accommodations for up to 25 guests, plus additional tenting, Paradise Point is ideally suited for all of your family, social, and corporate activities.

Easily reached from either Seattle or Portland, Paradise Point on Mayfield Lake is the perfect weekend getaway or week long vacation spot. Even the Pacific Ocean is only 1.5 hours to the west.

PLEASE NOTE: During the dates of June 16th through Labor Day the pricing on this site reflects the rental of the entire property (which includes the St Helens House and the Cascade Cabin). In all other months the price offered on this site only includes the rental of ONLY the St Helens house. The full property is available to rent in all other months but we do not require that guests rent it in its entirety. Please inquire about the full rental before booking.

Would come back again

This property was so much fun!! It didn’t quite seem like I thought it would be in my mind, but not because of the pictures, it was just my own vision of it. The lake was super inviting, nice friendly neighbors too. Love the lay out of everything. Well stocked with dishes and appliances you might need. We had a wonderful time!

Paradise Point Delivers

The property is stunning and has everything you need for a fun get away with a large group at the lake. Everyone was comfortable in their cabins and it was so awesome to have two kitchens to work with. The jacuzzi was big and having it lowered into the deck made it a lot easier for older folks to get in it. David was very professional, kind, and easy to work with. The cleaning crew were also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this beautiful spot again.

Summertime getaway

I love the property! My family, friends, and I enjoy our stay here. There was so many things to do and keep ourselves occupied during our stay. No Wi-Fi? Not a problem for us! From fishing off the dock, kayaking, canoeing, jumping into the lake, throwback movies, card games, and don’t forget the old classics Super Nintendo! There was a few issue but it got handle real quick. Thank you David! For you quick respond! I’ll definitely book again!

Amazing!

This property is AMAZING! Everything was clean and well taken care of! The ease of having our own dock to tie up our boat and our friends was so easy and convenient. The boat launch is close and the dock is so easy to tie up! Lots for kids and teens to do at the property. A rope swing, canoe, fishing, swings, horse shoes, a hot tub, camp fire pit (great for s’mores) , a closet full of DVD ‘s and LOTS of board games and volley ball. It was like staying at our own resort!!! The property owner was great and quick to respond with our questions. The house cleaners were friendly and nice when we meet them at the end of our stay. Both the house and cabin were very clean and bedding was comfortable and we had a wonderful restful sleep. They also have fans available in the rooms to cool off the home during the day (if it gets warm). The house and cabin stayed just right during the hotter days we were there for the most part. My friends and family highly recommend staying here and we plan on scheduling this property again for next years vacation!

Great views, quiet neighborhood

Had a great time here with my family. Loved the fact that you had your own private dock and lake views from the house and hot tub. Clean, fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels, sheets enough for a big family.

Dreamy springtime retreat

Gorgeous Private Lake House Getaway

My husband & I stayed here in March 2022 with our 2 kids (ages 9 & 2) & our dog; we made memories that will last our lifetime. The property is a 5 minute drive to the boat launch & the Ike Kinswa/hiking trails & a 20 drive to the nearest grocery store. It has a private dock right on Mayfield lake—with a view that was constantly morphing from smooth reflective glass, to rising mists, to glimmering sheets of rain. The birdwatching is fantastic, there’s a canoe, a rowboat & 2 kayaks for use along with 2 kayak paddles that pull apart to make 4, though no canoe paddles. No fishing gear but we brought our own & our son caught his first rainbow trout right off the dock— w/ a worm! We were unlucky with horseback riding as the mossy rock place was closed & had no website or phone number posted. There’s a neighbor with horses so we got to see & hear them. The St Helen’s house is cozy, clean & spacious. The main room had a large ceiling fan, a wood burning fireplace, & has lots of clean blankets and towels. Just turn up the heat (for the house & hot tub) right when you arrive & they’ll be perfect by the time you’re done unpacking. The constant lake views from the bedrooms & main room never got old; they will take your breath away. The kitchen has an awesome sink/faucet & fridge but zero pantry staples—bring your own sugar, cooking oils, spices (including salt & pepper) etc. There are mixing bowls, standard dishes/utensils, a blender, basic pots/pans for sautés, roasting & stews (though many pans didn’t sit flat on the stovetop), measuring cups/spoons, ground coffee & coffee maker/filters. For the bakers out there, there is an electric hand mixer, a cupcake tin & sheetcake pan. There are also several books—including some kids books & puzzles/crayons & a pantry full of games & DVDs. The huge table was great for puzzles! While our cautions won’t deter us from coming back, others may want to know: there is no WiFi—if you have adequate cell-data you get your pick of entertainment on their Roku—otherwise, you’ll have the option of board games, books or dvds; the Nintendo didn’t work; the dishwasher didn’t wash effectively; no place delivers so bring coolers with your fridge items or be willing to drive 20 minutes for food; & lastly the fence is not secure so don’t walk your pets unleashed. Overall we’re happy we chose this place: we wanted to go off grid & enjoy the great outdoors—this place is everything we needed. We hope to come back soon.

This property is nearly one of a kind. Most of this shoreline is owned by Tacoma City light so there is almost no development along the banks of this 5 mile long lake. 180 degree lake views with private dock make this a must visit destination.
