Brand New Guesthouse with Riverfront Patio

Tasteful, brand new guest house, beautiful neighborhood on the river. Guests have private deck facing yard and separate outdoor sitting area on the Willamette river behind the main house (but not a river view from the unit). Watch the birds, boats and riverboat cruise from the patio with fire pit. 2 miles from lightrail station, restaurants and shopping nearby and 15 mins. to downtown Portland. Kayaks available during warmer months (lifejackets required). Next door to boat ramp, trailer and RV parking available. Friendly to families as well with toys available upon request. Cable TV and Netflix on the flat screen TV, video games available too. Two private bedrooms, each with a queen bed and closet. Big and comfortable fold-out couch and air mattress if needed. Full kitchen with espresso and coffee. All are welcome! East side of river near Milwaukie.

Cute place. Far from Lake Oswego.

For some reason I thought the listing showed being very close to Lake Oswego. It is not!! If you aren’t familiar, you would not realize that there aren’t any bridges to get you to that area anywhere nearby. Signed us up for a 30 minute commute. The place is cute though and served our purposes otherwise.

A wonderfully cared for spacious house with everything you could need for a few days rest. Beautiful clean bathroom, nice kitchen space with bar top and a good choice of artwork on the walls.Carol was very reachable and accomodating. Would recoomend !

Great guesthouse and super location

We had a wonderful time at guesthouse. It is in a very quiet, special neighborhood surrounded by beautiful homes and right on the water. The house has everything you could need and the hosts were very responsive and hospitable. Can’t go wrong with this place.

Roger front property near Portland

Overall this little guest cottage was perfect for our stay. It was clean and comfortable. The hosts are super nice. We had a great stay.

Description

The add appears misleading as it leads you to believe the patio with the view is your patio. It is not you can use it. But it is not your patio the listing is behind the house that sits on the river. The patio is not covered. You can not see the river from the place you are renting. Also it appears the living room floor is about to give way near the entrance. I only say these things because had I known the rental had no view of the river from the rented property I would not have rented it. People should know what they are paying for and not be misled. However the accommodations in the unit were very nice. Stocked with coffee and snacks which was nice. Nice to have plenty of towels a slower supplies. With a clothes washer and dryer to boot overall I would say a 4 out of 5

A great place to stay

Cute place, nice and clean and host is wonderful. There ia a large grassy area for our dog, so he loved it. We would stay again.

Portland Pacific Northwest

Such a great place!! Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful neighborhood and view of the river. All the amenities you need and then some. Excellent host and provided stocked Nespresso machine and snacks. Easy access to City of Portland and all the surrounding areas including the coast!

Visiting for a wedding

I found this property for myself & my senior parents to stay at while we were visiting for a family wedding. The house was perfect for our needs, which included me prepping and decorating 5 wedding cakes for the wedding! Having a full kitchen & washer & dryer in the house made things so much easier & more comfortable. The bedrooms were tidy & the beds were very comfortable, with plenty of extra bedding, pillows, and towels for the bathroom. I'm keeping this listing in my favorites for future visits.

Beautiful stay on the river

This was a lovely property and we had a great time. It was so clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The host was so helpful and communicative. We loved sitting out on the patio and watching the river and we had almost perfect weather for our stay!

Another Great Stay

This is the 4th or 5th stay in Carol’s vacation rental for my husband and I. We love to stay here when we come to the Portland area. The neighborhood is quiet, the accommodations very comfortable and clean, and the host is very kind and helpful. We’ll be back next summer!

Great place, great host!

My mom, daughter, and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Carol was super easy to communicate with. The place itself had everything we needed. We’ve been to Portland many times, but this was our first time in this area. Would definitely book again!

Excellent Stay

Property was as advertised...the host, Carol, goes above and beyond to make sure your stay exceeds expectations. The setting near the river is a nice bonus. It is also close to restaurants and grocery stores.
