This casita is a gem in the hills above Santa Fe, very well maintained and beautifully appointed. And stocked with many of the kitchen staples you might need. A short drive into town, yet secluded with an almost country feel. We had a very relaxing and comfortable five days, in spite of some serious rain. We will be back.

This casita was spotless, beautifully appointed, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the peace and quiet and loved relaxing on the private deck, where we could listen to a variety of birds and enjoy the fragrant surrounding vegetation. If you're willing to venture just a few minutes beyond the city center, you'll be rewarded with this little slice of paradise. We would highly recommend staying here and would gladly return ourselves.

The Zen Retreat is a lovely, spacious casita nestled in a lovely, quiet, wooded area. It’s near fabulous hiking trails up the mountains and still able to be at the Plaza within about 10 minutes. Fully equipped kitchen, nice patio for warmer months, very clean. We spent 6 nights here and will definitely recommend to friends traveling to Santa Fe.

Heaven is a place on Earth! Not only was this in a breathtaking part of Santa Fe, an immaculate and thoughtful Casita but Michelle went above and beyond to ensure that my chemical/fragrance sensitivities were accommodated. I could breath and not be sickened by fragrance.I felt surrounded by the best nature has to offer and much rejuvenated from City life.My only disappointment is that we had to leave!

The Casita was beautiful and tranquil, a true retreat for our stay in Santa Fe. It's located in a neighborhood that's convenient to the city and surroundings but feels wonderfully quiet and private. I have never seen so many stars! The space is thoughtfully curated with everything we needed and some lovely perks as well: a spa-quality bath, a delightful deck with fire pit, and a well-appointed kitchen. Michelle is a warm and attentive host who was available for questions and advice. This property is a 10-plus--we'll be back!

A total Zen experience! We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would happily return again! Everything about this lovely casita is as described — clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The outdoor space is lovely and perfect for morning coffee and evening sunsets. It truly lives up to its name of a luxurious zen retreat! The location is ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet still close to restaurants and shops. We especially appreciated Michelle's touches, including clear communication, easy check-in instructions, and thoughtful amenities that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s obvious she truly cares about creating a great guest experience. Everything was smooth, stress-free, and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay!

Great location for hiking and biking

Beautiful secluded setting among the Pinon and Juniper along arroyo piedra, trail access across street to the Dale Ball trail system. Coyote music in the evenings. Great location, short drive to town or Ten Thousand Waves spa and road to Ski Santa Fe. Every cooking utensil available, great appliance, comfortable furniture and bed.

An amazing area close to town for our day trips throughout the week. The casita is comfortable and well equipped for cooking, everything we needed. In the evenings we enjoyed watching the bunnies from the patio! Lovely place you have and thank you for sharing with us.

Great getaway

The house was clean and comfortable, the property was secluded but a short drive from everything, and the host, Michelle, was on-site, lovely, and responsive. We've come to Santa Fe almost yearly since 1982, and Michelle's house beats a hotel any day. If you seek peace and quiet, this house is perfect for two.

Cute 1 bedroom stay in the woods

Casita! I loved the location, knowing it was a 5 min drive from downtown. The space was great- although it’s definitely one bedroom which I felt was a little unclear. Had a bit of a musty smell and I wish there were window coverings in the bedroom, but overall great stay
