Cozy, fun and always super clean! "The Bungalow" is the perfect resting spot for your trip to Olympia. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, but close to everything. Enjoy the full bedroom, bath and kitchen plus private garden patio. All the amenities you need to feel at home. Conveniently located midway between the Washington State Capitol and The Evergreen State College. A 10 minute walk to our vibrant downtown and lake trails.

The space:

"The Bungalow" is a 450 sq. ft. 1 bedroom guesthouse just up the hill from downtown Olympia. This guesthouse shares the property with our gorgeous 2 BR, 2 BA house, "The Laurels," that we also offer for short term rentals. Each rental has its own separate outdoor entrance and private yard. Super easy self check-in and 24 hour access.

Whether you are here on business, or for pleasure, The Bungalow is perfect.
In addition to the comfy private bedroom, you have a living room with a large futon that can sleep 1 person while in the couch position and 2 people when pulled out. Full kitchen with fridge, stove, toaster oven, coffee maker (coffee included), blender, dishes, utensils, pots/pans. Bedroom with memory foam mattress and pillows (heaven), dresser, full length mirror, iron and ironing board. Full bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower. Air conditioning units in both rooms.

The Bungalow has a nice smart TV which allows you to log-in to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Hulu, etc. We also have fast Wi-Fi!

Guest access

Easy 24 hour access through your own outdoor, private entrance to the apartment. The code for the keypad lock will be provided 1-2 days prior to arrival. Super easy self check-in.

Interaction With Guests:

We allow you to enjoy your space un-interrupted. However, we live nearby if you need us. We respond almost immediately to any requests.

The Lovely Neighborhood:

Safe and friendly, the historic South Westside offers nice strolls through its eclectic homes and gardens. Be sure to grab an espresso from award winning Olympia Coffee Roasters, a few blocks away. Enjoy farm-fresh produce just down the street during our seasonal farmer's market. Kids love the nearby 'sprayground' at Woodruff Park during warm summer days! Hugely popular city pickleball courts two blocks away. We love how everything is walkable here, including downtown, West Bay waterfront and the Capitol Lake trails.

Ten minute walk to our vibrant waterfront downtown, to Capitol Lake or West Bay saltwater park. Ten minute walk to Capital Mall and the cinemas. Ten minute drive to the Evergreen State College or the State Capitol. We are one block from the bus line. Uber and Lyft respond super quickly to our neighborhood.

Hannah and Ryan were great hosts.Location is good. Walking distance to many activities and food. Pickleball courts are a block away. Courtyard was private and quiet. We would stay there again.

The rooms and bathroom was very clean and the neighborhood was in walking distance of good restaurants downtown. I would recommend staying here to anyone. The location has great access to getting to places south and east of Seattle.

Great communication from the hosts. This bungalow is adorable and very comfortable. It was perfect for my impromptu visit to Olympia. The location is great, access was a breeze, and it was quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

We loved the little bungalow! It was exactly like the pictures and we felt right at home. The location is perfect since it was close to many restaurants and stores. We will definitely stay there again since my daughter and grandson lives up here.

Perfect little place to stay

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. It was the perfect size for us and the location was great. We were able to walk into downtown everyday. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend to others

A super convenient and cozy spot. It was our first time using VRBO but we were trying to get away from the other site. I’d say it was a great experience. Our hosts were easy to communicate with and the space had everything we needed. Easy walk to downtown or even closer to a variety of restaurants.

Quaint little house

This is the perfect quaint little house. Two air condition units so temperature was very comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. Beds were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone.

great short term stay for one

l enjoyed my stay at the bungalow-- it is a really cute spot and I loved the private backyard area especially! I appreciated that the house is allergen and scent free. The bedroom wall does share a wall with the other unit attached to the house and if you're both in the bedroom at the same time you can hear phone alarms or talking--though none were an issue. Recommend as a place to stay!

Holiday convenience

This was a great place for my husband and I to stay while visiting and spending the holidays with family in Olympia. It had everything we needed. There is a step up into the shower and where the toilet is; we didn't notice that in the description. It was not a problem for us though. The entrance is private and there is a private patio. We'd love to stay again.

Over all nice stay

My husband and I enjoyed the bungalow. The neighborhood it is situated is perfect for getting anywhere in Olympia easily. The bungalow itself is Bohemian cute and we loved the private outdoor seating. It was not as clean as we expected which was a disappointment. We also had some loud neighbors who were staying in the main house and woke us up both nights at 2:00am which was not ideal. For the most part it was an enjoyable stay.

Lovely one-bedroom in residential neighborhood.

This is a very nice one-bedroom a short and easy drive from downtown. Owners provided lots of information about local coffee shops, restaurants and other places that one could walk to as well. Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Only draw back is that the bedroom shares a common wall with rental space next door, and voices could be heard. Not a problem on this visit, since they were in bed and settled down at a reasonable hour.

Lovely getaway

Thank you for providing such a serene and cozy place to stay. It was also refreshing to find a place that was fragrance free. We hope to be able to come again someday soon, maybe in warmer (and drier) weather.

Very cozy and relaxing

This is a very nice 2 room bungalow, with kitchen and bath. We had a great time. Easy to walk to Phoebe's Cafe and Hash (breakfast joint). Owners are very sweet. Highly recommend!

Perfect!

I went with my two sons and we arrived after the preferred check-in. Hannah was very accommodating, she made sure we simply knew the rules so as to not to disturb anyone. The place was very clean, the sheets for the futon were conveniently located in the bedroom, there was shampoo and conditioner and body wash provided! It's a quiet little neighborhood, parking in the driveway and on the street. I can't wait to go back to see my family so I can stay there again!
