Everything about this property is perfect! The home, the view, the location. We loved it. Just a mile or so from the Hull Ferry that takes you right into the heart of Boston. Very convenient, especially if you’ve ever tried to park in Boston . The was also very patient with me when I failed to read her very detailed instructions on how to find her home. We would definitely love to stay again (I can find it now)!

Kate was an amazing host and the room was clean, comfortable, quiet and relaxing. We had such a wonderful time during our stay and didn’t want to leave. The beach was beautiful, the food in the surrounding area was great (totally recommend going to Toast for breakfast), we lucked out and had beautiful weather the whole time we were there. Thank you for letting us stay.

We had a lovely visit here in Hull! Kate is a wonderful, welcoming host and the property was comfortable, charming and beautiful! Gorgeous location, surroundings, gardens and home. I highly recommend a visit!

Loved our stay here. The location was perfect for us. The house is beautiful and looks straight out to the bay and Spinnaker's Island. Lovely!

If you are looking for a getaway in a quaint harbor town, this is your place. Just minutes away from great restaurants and a ferry that takes you into the Boston harbor. The views from all the windows were amazing to say the least. Kate was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and we felt right at home.

PLEASE READ REVIEWS CAREFULLY.We were only able to stay for 1 hour instead of 3 nights due to a huge, loud dog and the fact that the only AC unit was in the WC and wasn't working (host claims there was a switch but it was not labeled). The master bedroom is crowded with items and the pictures are deceiving - it's very small. The second "bedroom" is truly in a bathroom - feels very weird and inappropriate. The tub is much smaller than pics imply. Having the host and other family members right there on the floor with us felt awkward too. Ultimately, we left in the middle of the night because it was just the most unpleasant experience. I wish I had read the reviews mentioning the dog, the difficult driveway, the strange second bedroom/bathroom, and the host sleeping in the room next door.

Great stay for NYE

We had a lovely stay at Kate’s place. It was the perfect spot for a quiet getaway with our family after the hustle and bustle of Christmas.

Ideal waterfront home stay

Excellent, well-maintained home, beautiful master suite overlooking moored pleasure boats, sunrises, moonrises all viewed from the big windows in the room, super comfy king-sized bed, convenient location for rest and relaxation, and every where we needed to go to in Hull. I would definitely stay again and recommend.

Excellent getaway

The view is unbeatable and the historic house is absolutely lovely. Kate was a gracious host. We enjoyed the master suite and even though the trundle bed for our kid was in the giant bathroom (tub and shower) and dressing area it was separate from the toilet and so it was ok!

Beautiful home overlooking the harbor with a magnificent view of the harbor from both the bedroom and dressing/bathroom. The room has its own outside entrance, so you don’t have to disturb the homeowner. Boston is nearly an hour away by car, but you can take the ferry instead, which is only minutes from the home and leaves you right in Long Wharf. Overall, it’s a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the big city. If only there was a porch or balcony from which to enjoy the beautiful view it would have been perfect.

Beautiful accommodations with a great hostess

The home is beautiful situated in a quiet neighborhood. It has breathtaking views of the other islands in the bay. The home is very neat, and the hostess, Kate, goes above and beyond to ensure the cleanliness of the rooms. The beds are very comfortable. The amenities in the rooms are a nice bonus. Our stay was so enjoyable and relaxing, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Boston area!

Historical Seaside Mansion

If you enjoy nautical history and great seafood then staying in this historic mansion will provide a great home base for visiting the South side of Boston Harbor. If we had been able to stay longer we might have ventured into downtown Boston via the Hill ferry to see some of the sights but there were plenty of interesting sights right in the Hull area to pique our interest! Kate is warm and welcoming, keeps a lovely home and can provide lots of useful tips for your stay! We were quite comfortable in our second floor suite.

My partner and I came up to Hull from NJ to see the Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium. Kate was a great host, she was polite and inviting. The space was very clean and the views from the daybed with either our morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening were amazing. The jacuzzi tub was definitely perfect! And the the bed was beyond comfortable. If we needed something Kate was always very attentive without any delays at all. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely love to stay at her home again. It was lovely!!

The listing is inaccurate and misleading. The room has a daybed and trundle located in the bathroom what it’s totally inappropriate, if people sleeping in the bedroom want to use the toilet they will disturb the ones sleeping in the bathroom.There is not such thing as breakfast included, there are granola bars, yogurt and even the sugar cubes are not protected, all these “breakfast” items are in the bathroom, very unhealthy and inappropriate; these items are consider snacks not breakfast at all; also, guests are not allowed to use the kitchen, so you have to go to a restaurant for eating in the morning. There is not even a microwave in the area rented.The location of the house is nice, however, it was not disclosed that it’s right next to a large cemetery, people will find weird for a vacation.The house in general was dirty, the sink in the bathroom has yellow ring, carpets with multiple stains and very clotted and certainly not ready for paid guests.

Relaxing, simple suite

We really enjoyed our lovely stay in this suite! The location was perfect, we had a really fun day going to Boston via the ferry (we walked the easy mile to the pier) and it was so nice to come back and relax in the suite. The listing is just as described and the owner messaged after our reservation to make sure we were okay with the accommodations for the 4 of us (since the day bed is in with the master bath). It definitely worked for our short trip. The bay views were wonderful and the suite was peaceful and comfortable.

Beautiful sunrise!

The view is absolutely amazing. Nice big bed in the master suite. Great place to watch the sun rise in the morning! Kate was pleasant to talk to and well organized. The rooms were very clean. We had a nice walk in Worlds end park and ate seafood at Schooners down the road a bit. Nantasket has a couple of small restaurants that were good! The Weinberg bakery was great. The Saltwater Diner also had a great breakfast! Nice place to go!

Charming & Delightful

Spectacular views from walls of windows overlooking the boats in the bay. The floor plan gave us plenty of room to prepare for our outings without being in one another's way. The water pressure was strong. The bed was comfy and had plenty of pillows and blankets. All was very clean and well kept. Our Hostess was equally as Charming and Delightful as the home.

Elegant and Comfortable

the Master bedroom overlooks the water providing a lovely breeze and gorgeous views. very comfortable bed and Huge bedroom bath spa space! Yogurts bars and Keurig Coffee maker made easy morning start. The neighborhood is 100 years old and has typical New England narrow roads. Parking is available, you just need to be good at backing out of the drive. Very friendly hosts and quiet retreat! I'll be back!

Owner has a dog

The views were awesome. The room wasnt ready when we got there at 530pm. Check in is from 4pm to 10pm. Wasn't aware that we shared this place with owner. Jacuzzi tub was barley big enough for one person and only the 2 side jets worked. The tub annd shower looked like they were from the 1970s. I am allergic to dogs and she had a dog that wasnt disclosed. Spent most of the time sneezing and just miserable. Her bedroom was right next to ours so we had to be quiet. Just a undesirable situation. The speakers on the tv rattled like they were blown. Parking sucked also. Barely enough room to open doors and get out of the vehicle.
