What a lovely bit of paradise! The interior is lovely and well stocked with all the beach things you could need. And the view is spectacular. Like so much so we did less exploring than planned because it was so pretty here. The location is very convenient for sightseeing all over the island. Our hosts were great and it’s clear they really enjoy hosting. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This place was awesome! It was exactly as pictured, and the location was very convenient. We went all over the island and didn’t spend more than hour in the car with traffic. And It’s not too far from the airport, so after a long day of travel it’s nice to only have a 20 min drive or so from the airport. The amenities were lovely. Fully stocked kitchen with some munchies of your choosing already in the fridge/freezer was so nice!! The beds were very comfy, the bathroom was fully stocked with a million towels, extra TP, and some basic provisions available to use. The pool was immaculate! We spent hours playing the pool during our week there. And pool toys, beach toys and beach chairs, blankets, life jackets etc, all available for use during the stay made it even more fun. And the hosts were the nicest people in the world! They greeted us when we arrived, gave a quick tour and then left us to enjoy our trip. And they are always right upstairs incase you need anything. If I am ever so fortunate to visit Hawaii again, I would stay here in a heartbeat!

We had such a wonderful trip. The house were very friendly and very helpful. The house was wonderful. The view was amazing. Would highly recommend staying there.

There aren’t enough words to say how great this place is. It’s your own little apartment with great views of Pearl Harbor one way and the valley the other. There is literally nothing missing at the Rainbow Inn you could possibly need.Nice large shower, comfy bed, nice pool and laundry!! Enough paper towels, tp and laundry soap to get you through an entire week. There’s a gear closet in the laundry room with beach gear, coolers, even a yoga mat. Vicky and Grant even do a basic food run order for you before your arrival. Vicky and Grant are the nicest hosts with hearts to match. We were caught on Kauai for Hurricane Lowell and Vicky reached out saying we could come a day early, which we did. Just outstanding people and an outstanding place to stay. If we are ever back on Oahu Rainbow Inn will be our first choice to stay. Oh and Lucy!!! Cutest dog and very friendly!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rainbow Inn up in the hills of Aiea. From the beginning last Dec. Vicky & Grant were very quick to respond to our inquiries and gave us plenty of helpful information. They bill this as a B&B rental and asked what we would like in the way of breakfast items placed in the unit upon our arrival. That was very nice. The unit sits below their permanent home with a pool outside the Rainbow Inn, and they ask if they could take a swim occasionally. No problem! We very much enjoyed their time but also gave us plenty of privacy. Very comfortable and clean and had a lot of kitchen provisions available to us. There is no oven but a handy multifunction air fryer/toaster oven totally sufficed. They provided plenty of beach towels, chairs, noodles, boogie boards for the beach (recommend Kailua Beach Park on the Windward side). Pool deck had lounge chairs and dining table for 6 and a grill. With those views, you spend all your time either in the pool or dining al fresco. The grounds are very well kept which provided a very nice tropical setting that we all come to Hawaii for. Mahalo. We will be back!

Perfect area for exploring the island. You are out of the Honolulu traffic and can explore the north shore and west sides of the island with ease. The view is amazing, and the unit has all the necessities and more. The wonderful hosts even had breakfast items and a few beers waiting for us in the fridge. They are truly lovely people and their place is perfect as a home base.

A very well appointed self contained unit located directly below the owners house. The hosts are thoughtful and friendly and provided everything one might need for self catering, including a hearty breakfast and a few beers. The sunny garden, pool area and views were amazing. We loved the sunsets! There was free car parking which was a bonus and it was easy to get around the island - we travelled east and west without issues. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for two with every appliance you could need. They have really thought of everything! Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Grant and Vicky both went above and beyond to make us feel at home, to include introducing us to their fur babies, who were never a problem and never bothered us. We felt comfortable and private. The VRBO very thoroughly stocked for comfort and convenience. Wish we had more time on our visit, we would have loved to spend personal time with Grant and Vicky for dinner or other.
