Centralized in the peaceful Tigertail neighborhood you can ride your bike over to the Tigertail Beach in just a few minutes or walk to the marina, shopping centers and Winn Dixie supermarket. On Thursday nights you can walk over to CJ's on the bay located at the Esplanade Shops and dance to live free music from 5 pm to 9 pm. While staying here you'll have everything near.

Inside the house you'll find an open floor plan with lots of natural light. With a front bay view you'll see boats and a marina from the door, living room area, and a bedroom. The kitchen includes all appliances, a wide countertop for entertaining, and a backyard view through a window above the kitchen sink.
The backyard of this house is the definition of paradise. Lining the backyard is a wall of Areca palms for full privacy. Feel free to eat outside by the pool on the patio dining table and soak up the sun on the lounge chairs in this spacious outdoor area. The large pool comes with a hand railing and many fun pool floats including an inflatable donut.

The unit is fully furnished, including high thread count sheets, cotton towels, duvets, all kitchenware, art, and much more. All utilities (HD cable, electric, water, internet) are included. A new pool heater was just installed. Bay view front property, pool, 3beds, 2 baths, wifi and tv programming included, large kitchen and covered terrace, two beach chairs and umbrella.

This home is all about comfort, privacy, and relaxation. Just bring your clothes and toothbrush and enjoy!

Spring Break

This house is in a perfect location on the island, walking distance to many restaurants and stores. We loved the pool and the private backyard. It was very quiet and peaceful.

WORST rental on Marco Island

I have booked 8 years in a row on VRBO with great results in Marco Island. This property was abhorrent. The following are the compliants upon arriving: food particles left in sink, oven top, microwave, counters, and along kitchen basebords. Ants on counters. Dirty throw rugs. Kitchen utensils old and tarnished. Three fixtures Light bulbs burnt out. Auto wine opener left black residue on our hand. Black mold on ceiling AC registers. No patio door screen. Ripped kitchen window screen. Food and crumbs surround kitchen cabinet garbage cans. Laundry dryer kept shutting off and needed several cycles to dry clothes. Washing machine actually left rust stains on white clothes. Kitchen sink faucet handle was covered in glue. Provided shower towels were like old frayed rags. Master bathroom sink was clogged. Front entry way had several large spiders and webs. Patio furniture was dated and rusting. Entry way Adirondack chairs cracked. Every mattress horribly squeaked. No access to garage (not disclosed in description) with things like bikes, beach chairs, pool toys etc. Master bath door didn’t lock. Clothes hangers cracked and tangling. And now onto the pool that was unusable. The top skimmer didn’t work so there was much leaf debris in pool. The pool pump didnt auto start every day so I had to manually start every morning. The pool turned a darker green every day and the home owner blamed me. I took pictures and video to prove the conditions. Do not stay here and keep looking.

We had a wonderful 6 weeks on Marco Island @ German’s place. She was always quick to respond to any questions we had. The location was the best!!

Property needs repairs and updates

We were disappointed in the house, it needs a lot of maintenance and lots of updates. There was not enough towels 6 were provided for an 5 person stay. 3 wash clothes was provided for 5 people, when contacted host told us to go buy some. Several light bulbs were burnt out, which we could have replaced but none were in house to replace. Dryer had issues drying towels, error on vent we cleaned this out. Still would hardly dry towels. The toaster did not work but there was a toaster oven.Ice maker made ice but would not dispense. Coffee pot did not work we bought our own. Automatic wine opener did not work either. Pool was dirt and no chlorine in dispenser. Also the lounge chair cushions by the pool were dry rotted .The showers were dirty with lots of hair in the drains. Dining room chairs seats were worn to threads in spots. Flat pillows and the box springs squeaked. We will not stay here again

Perfect location

Our spring break stay was awesome. This house is in the perfect location near all things the family may want to do while in Marco. The pool gets full sun all day (which is what we Michiganders wanted) but the porch provides the shade needed. The only negative is all of the beds need new box springs as they make crazy loud noises with the slightest movement, new thicker pillows would be nice too (or bring your own from home). We would definitely recommend this property.

Only Ok

Not exactly kid friendly. Only a small charcoal grill , the bedrooms were very dark and the ceiling fans did not work. The dryer cycles had to be repeated several times to get your clothes dry and there was no access to the garage. Pool was nice .

Great location but property has issues.

GREAT LOCATION & GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD BUT Beds are unbelievably squeaky. Pans to cook were dirty, silverware was all tarnished. . Clothes dryer would only work for 10 minute cycles. Pool was not heated as advertised nor were there bikes as advertised.

We stayed for a week with our Kids .

We stayed here for a week just telling everyone that it’s not kids friendly house . Doesn’t have any toys for kids to play ,pool has no toys except for grown-up kids also has no bikes but it says that it would provide bikes on the listing. They didn’t have any beach chairs. It would say on the listing that it does have it .Owner responded that it was destroyed by the hurricane.We were very unhappy that listing did not say that the house is in the middle of construction , we couldn’t stay outside because the stone was cutting the next door and all the dust was coming towards our swimming pool. It’s a nice house but somethings I wish I would know before I come in especially about construction . The owner was nice and responded very quickly telling that it’s not in his hand we do understand that construction happens but when you come to vacation house, you don’t wanna deal with the dust and the noise that wakes you up at 7 o’clock in the morning. The House was not cleaned well , one shower had curtins with mold , floors were super dirty I had to re wash floors , some kitchen drawers were disorganized and dirty . I migh sound like spoiled renter but if you like to cook and eat in the house it’s not for you , utensils and pots were so old even coffee machine is very old . Also doesn’t have outside grill . The owner was very quick with responses.

Great Property

Nice place and a great location. Convenient. It's within walking distance of good restaurants and shopping but still close to Tiger Tail Beach. We plan on staying here again.

Great location and house

We stayed for a month, Feb-March 2022. The house was in a wonderful location close to the places we enjoyed walking to. It was clean and well stocked. When we called with any issues, the owner was very attentive in handling them. The pool was wonderful, warm and enjoyed by all of us. The only suggestion I would have for improvement would be to change the box springs on the beds as they are really noisy and the grill should be updated. We had a great time and would stay at this home again.

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood

We had a great time. This house was spacious and inviting. We were worried there might be road noise, since it seemed close to the main road, but it was actually really quiet. The beds were fairly comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped, with lots of counter space. Plenty of seating room inside and out. The view out the front window was great. Across the street there were some burrowing owl nests. The pool was nice. We only got in it once because the week we were there the weather was not really pool weather until our last day. The house was easy to find. There were lots of restaurants and shopping near by. The owner was very helpful, answering all our questions. There is an eagle sanctuary down the road just a bit, with some viewfinder type things aimed at a nest. We did not actually see any eagles though. We walked out to Tigertail Beach one day. It is less than a mile to the entry to the beach and lagoon, but we did find we had to walk another mile or so to get out to the gulf waters. Worth it though.

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and the bed comfortable.The view of the bay is beautiful! The back yard is peaceful and private. The only thing was the small ants. They were in the sinks and kitchen. We sprayed but it really didn’t help. We would stay again.

Awesome location

German’s house is in a fantastic location. Walk to the beach, grocery store, and lots of restaurants. We loved the burrowing owls across the street. The house itself is spacious and has a private backyard with pool! We will definitely be back!!

Fun and relaxing vacation - accurate reviews

We traveled to Marco Island with another couple. We got in late at night but German communicated the access and it was a breeze to enter the house. We especially liked the sheets and towels being all ready for us since we didn’t get there til after midnight. The pool was warm enough and each day we started the heater early until the pump stopped in the afternoon and the pool increased about 2-3 degrees during that time. The other reviews are accurate about that as well as there being no door to the master bathroom (pocket door is broken) and there were some ants in the kitchen. The bathroom door was not a huge issue since we would close the bedroom door and there were not a ton of ants, we just made sure to keep the food in the pantry. The morning sun covered the pool but based on the time of year we were there, the sun started dropping behind the palm trees shading the pool late morning and completely shading it by 2pm- this will be great for the summer but was a bit chilly for us, so it marked a good time to head to the beach. We loved the proximity to the beach and lagoon for fishing, the town/ supermarket, great restaurants. The stars could be easily seen out back at night and we also enjoyed the front view of the bay.. An extra bonus that we were delighted by were the owls that perched across the street. They are condoned off but they seem to be a local attraction. This was our first time in Marco Island and we are smitten. Although I was only able to use the bikes once, it was so nice to get around that way and the whole town is flat. We sometimes walked to stores and restaurants from the house. German, the host, was extremely responsive. Both couples thought the house was a great place to come back to, especially since it seemed to be the best value in a pricey town.

Good location.

Overall, our visit to this property was a good experience. German was prompt replying to all inquiries. The location is in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The house and grounds were clean and nicely maintained. A wagon, chairs, an umbrella and travel coolers were available, nice items for when visiting the beach. Basics were provided to ease the start of our trip, items like soap and TP in the bathrooms, dishwasher soap and laundry detergent (may have been left over from other guests?). There are a few items that would have made it an even better stay. New mattresses would be beneficial, they’re hard and noisy. Flying insects (ants?) were an issue, particularly in the kitchen. We did spray for them but then had to deal with the smell and the thought of the pesticide being in our food. A chain broke on one of the bikes and the chain on the other bike kept coming off hence, we ended up renting bikes. It would be helpful to have a welcome folder for guests that explains the running of the house. Access to the garage is not permitted, I’m not sure that this is in the rental description. Having access to a washer and dryer was nice but please know that in order for the dryer to keep up, small loads are necessary. Having the pool was convenient, just know that due to the neighbors tall palms, sunlight can be limited and as pool owners ourself, we’re not sure how or when the pool gets cleaned. My husband checked the floating device in the pool that we assumed would contain chlorine, it was empty. Honestly, it was a good stay, there are just items that could be addressed that would make it an excellent stay.

Heated pool not really available.

Pros: 1. Ample space. 2. Close to shops and nice restaurants by the water. We walked to and really liked Deep Lagoon seafood restaurant. 3. Generous supply of everything (towels, utensils, free bottle of wine, two free bikes, etc.) 4. Owner responds quickly to messages, although not always with useful responses (see below) Cons: 1. Heated pool: we arrived on Sunday Nov. 7, and we could not the pool to be comfortable until Thursday evening, fully four days after arrival. It is the Guests’ job to turn on the heater themselves after 0930 every day (!); if you do not do it then, there is no heater for the pool for that day! The heater turns itself off at 1611. We contacted the owner the day of arrival, who kept assuring us the temperature would increase by “2 degrees per hour” when heater is on. It simply doesn’t, at least not in November, even when sun is shining. Pool cleanliness: it was ok upon arrival, but after two days it had leaves, etc. There was no pool service during our stay (one week). We had to clean it ourselves, and fill the pool as well (as it was too low) 2. Cleanliness: while the house had been cleaned prior to our arrival, there is a need for a deep cleaning: A) We saw a cockroach (picture). B) There are a LOT of tiny little ants everywhere, but particularly in the kitchen. We found ants crawling in our laptop, which we had placed in a dresser in the main bedroom. After that, we kept all our clothes in our suitcases. You cannot leave any food outside of the fridge. When we alerted the owner to the ants, he suggested we use some spray to kill the bugs… C) The house smells a bit stale. Fortunately there are plenty of windows. There are fabric softeners placed in every room to change the smell (picture) 3. En-suite bathroom door does not close (!?). There is a sign written on masking tape (picture) not to use it. This means that in effect guests cannot use that bathroom during the night. It is definitely not convenient if several people are renting the house together. 4. Side doors to access backyard are locked. Main door has several steps to access it. This means you must keep the bikes inside the house and go through the house door any thing (like using the beach buggy, taking the recycling bin outside, etc.)

Home, Beaches, and Marco Island were amazing!

This is a GREAT property and we definitely want to stay again! We took a family trip before our youngest went off to college and had a great time in Marco! Our children, 22 and 18 years old loved it. Tigertail Beach was so close. We enjoyed Tigertail over Marco Beach. We saw a lot more things snorkeling in the water at Tigertail, it was not as busy as Marco Beach, and the water was clearer. We rode the bikes to get coffee, enjoyed playing 'horse' in the pool, and watched the owls in the area across the street. There was an open view to the water inlet across the street--no house across the street. The layout of the house was great as we all had our own rooms, yet we were on the same floor. The property location was great as well--close to everything but in a quiet area with another house only on the one side and you could not see other homes from the backyard. We REALLY appreciated all the helpful things included such as a cooler bag for going to the beach, bags to carry towels etc., beach/pool towels, 2 beach umbrellas, wagon, and chairs. Would recommend adding more ice packs as there was only one small ice pack and our water didn't stay cold and getting umbrellas that can be twisted into the sand instead of having to dig a hole. We loved having the regular sized coffee pot to make coffee each morning. Having a regular size washer and dryer was also great! We went to Key Largo after Marco Island and appreciated even more how this home was stocked with everything that was need to make our stay easy and comfortable in the house and on the beach!
