Built in 1986, nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, this rustic log cabin is fitting for a retreat with your other half or even for groups of up to 8. Enjoy the peaceful, long-range view of Plott Balsam from the GRAND-covered porch with comfortable outdoor seating and a 5-seater HOT TUB.

Chilly? No problem. The view is also visible from the vaulted ceiling living room hosting a wood-burning fireplace. It's close to all the attractions in Maggie Valley, as well as Cherokee Indian Reservation, Waynesville, NC, and Asheville, NC. Four bedrooms -- One king bed, two queens, a twin trundle, and two full bathrooms. NEW wood floors installed in the bedrooms. The picnic area just up the way features a swing, fire pit, and picnic table. Elevation is approximately 4,000 ft.

High Speed WiFi will accommodate multiple devices. Installed on October 11, 2023. YouTube TV included on Smart TVs.

For reservations between Jan 1st and April 1st you MUST have FOUR WHEEL DRIVE and understand that it may snow and you can get snowed in!! Guests are responsible for vacating the property on their check-out date and time. We do not cover the cost of towing if you get stuck**
