Spacious 1 BR Home Centrally Located near Downtown, Hospitals + King Bed

Stay in our 112 year old charming home, it is a Historic shotgun house nestled next to the Canal and it’s peaceful sound of water. Adjacent to the century old Sibley Mill in an urban setting yet with the reassuring sound of the train passing thru each evening. Our home is casually elegant and comfortable and it’s an exceptional retreat close to downtown and provides superb access to the city. We are also within close proximity to Lake Olmstead, the Savannah Rapids and Augusta Canal, great for enjoying the outdoors. We love our little house and you will too!

Our shotgun house is located in the heart of Augusta and has 11’ ceilings throughout with a spacious king size bed, full bath, full kitchen with custom concrete countertops, a front porch sitting area and sp
acious back yard. We offer a 50" flat screen smart TV and a small library , and board games.

The kitchen comes equipped with full size refrigerator and stove, coffee maker, utensils, plates cups, etc.

The home is centrally located within the city allowing access to the highway within minutes, access to biking trails and the canal for kayaking or just a quick ride to downtowns restuarants and bars.

Also, we are within 5 minute driving (1.4 miles) distance to the downtown entertainment and business areas, within 10 minutes (3.3 miles) from the Augusta National Golf Club (The Masters), and within 28 minutes (12.7 miles) from Fort Gordon Army Installation. Our neighborhood is quaint and comfortable and if you are here for business or pleasure, we welcome you as our guest.

Everything about this property was amazing and it just added to our wonderful experience! The attention to details was what impressed us the most. The unit is in an area where gentrification has begun, however it didn't effect our stay. We would stay here again!

The whole home is lovely and the kitchen is one of my favorite places to be. It is so spacious and great for little lunch dates with family and friends in the area.

The home itself is just so very comfortable and it's owners are very communicative and present. It is also very conveniently located from downtown.I've really enjoyed my time here.

Good location. Close to downtown Augusta and North Augusta. Older property with a couple of minor issues. Washer and dryer don't work and the coffee table had one leg that's shorter then the others. Host responded promptly to any issues.

Air conditioning was too cold. Was not able to adjust thermostat. We used blankets and soace heater to mitigate the extreme cool inside a/c.

Thank you for your feedback. It is a "smart" thermostat and it adjusts accordingly. We are sorry you weren't comfortable with the temperature but a simple text could have fixed that. We can override the "smartness" of the thermostat and set it to a comfortable temperature for YOU. We were happy you were able to use the additional covers we have for out guests, especially in these hot summer days.

Great location for downtown events

We stayed for a 4 day event and was very happy with the location as it was convient to downtown and the AU campus. The owner was quick to reply to any questions we had and the neighbors were friendly. The home was very clean and even had plenty of supplies needed for the stay. Great value and will book this one again.

This was bigger than I expected it to be. Sure, some people say the area is sketchy, but I never felt unsafe. The neighbors were friendly. I liked how it was close to what I needed in the city.

All I was looking for was a king size bed with a comfy mattress (pillows were hard) and a clean bathroom … I found it! It had many nice touches (feminine hygiene products, two toilet paper, etc). The kitchen which I didn’t use had every imaginable necessity for a comfortable stay. The only improvement I would have liked to see would be up-to-date lamps with charging ports in the bedroom and living room. There is a train track nearby and travelled through at 6 p.m.

Wasn’t bad, but the neighborhood was a little bit sketchy. Neighbor’s were friendly. We were on the go constantly, so wasn’t there much only to sleep. Under bed and things could use a little extra cleaning. Overall I’d say a 4.

Cute little house but…..

This is an adorable retro vintage house set along the railroad tracks. The trains never bothered me. Not sure if they ever ran at night. The king size bed was very comfortable. Had a little problem with check in but the owner quickly resolved the issue. Had a little trouble finding the property. Not a location for any activities at night. Could be a little cleaner.

Excellent Landlord

The positives about the place. Nice clean house with an excellent landlord who was fast to respond to any questions/requests. I really liked the bath towels provided. The location is very close to downtown Augusta. The following comments are not necessary negative and perhaps more of a personal preference and also maybe I didn't do enough research. The house is located on a small street next to couple of run down old text mill buildings. Construction was on site to rebuild it to apartments. The house is also next to the railroad tracks which was noisy some nights. I'm a light sleeper so any noise wakes me up so I didn't get great sleep while I was there. You can also hear traffic and many nights there were sirens going off. If those things does not bother you then you should book the place. Thanks for being a good host.

Great fit for our needs

We enjoyed staying here. The quaint house was well appointed, clean and convenient. Neighbor’s were friendly. We were mostly there at night, as we were there to attend family events for our granddaughter’s graduation. However, this place was well equipped for day and night!

Great little tucked away place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely soothing color schemes throughout the recently renovated home. Not far from canal trails and closely located near riverfront park. Yuri, the home owner, was very kind and accommodating.
