Oceanfront Luxury Villa in Jamaica

Welcome to Tikal, an ocean front luxury villa, exquisitely remodeled in May 2021, with an airy modern Caribbean style. We are adjacent to Chukka Cove Horse & Adventure Farms, noted as Jamaica's premier tourist attraction provider. We are conveniently nestled between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, only 50 minutes from Montego Bay International Airport. We are within 30 minutes of most major tourist attractions, and the cruise ship port in Ocho Rios.

Our villa design is a two story open floor plan, with modern amenities, sleek bathrooms, tropical chic bedrooms and a hint of Indian styled accent furniture. The villa is 2400 SqFt (222.93 Sq meters),
3 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a 4th bedroom on the main level, with a complete bathroom- the possibility of accommodating a total of 8 guests in pure comfort. The entire main floor, the sitting and dining area patio, and three bedrooms all have expansive ocean views and ample space to enjoy total relaxation while taking in the beautiful Caribbean sea and gardens. There is also a cool large sitting and dining porch beautifully designed with an adjoined private jacuzzi for total self indulgence in mind.

Amazing house and beautiful property!

Our stay at Villa Tikal was amazing. From Clarence, the amazing driver with a splendid personality and knowledge of the island and its history, to Anne Marie and her amazing food are care of the house during the stay; everything was absolutely fabulous. The Villa is so comfortable and peaceful with the pool just steps away and ocean views from around the house. We felt safe and taken care of during our family vacation and would definitely come back again!

This villa was perfect. It was just as described. Their service was amazing. Annmarie and Andrew made my trip in paradise even better. Anne-Marie was more than welcoming, and the food that she made for us was impeccable. I could not have asked for a better experience. If far exceeded my expectations. The property was beautiful the landscaping, the ocean, the Infiniti pool all A. Andrew greeting us every night to make sure that we were content and had everything we needed for the night made us feel welcomed and well looking after.

Christmas Relaxation

Relaxation was what our family needed and it can be found here in abundance. The property is beautiful with lots to do onsite, especially when you add a few tourist excursions. Ann Marie is a gem and a fabulous cook. Our only issues were with communication prior to our arrival and all problems were on our end. Make sure to have whatsapp when you book. It will make your communication on Jamaica so much easier.

Beautiful getaway in quiet community

We had an amazing time at Villa Tikal, from arranging our trip with Javier and Janet to being greeted by Marcia and Phillip on site everything was made as easy as possible. Marcia's food is absolutely amazing and I would have loved to take her home with me! We will miss not only her fabulous dinners but also her engaging and friendly personality. Philip was a huge help all week. We can't wait to come back! We will miss you Jamaica!

Great villa with amazing chef

6 of us stayed to celebrate a 30th birthday. The villa surpassed expectations, it looks better in real life than the pictures. Although the villa is on a shared complex it is tucked away in the corner. Ann Marie our housekeeper/chef was amazing. She cooked us the tastiest food and it was a treat having help with the cleaning. Leyre helped us with booking excursions and was always available on WhatsApp. There is a supermarket about a 10 minute walk away. Was the perfect way to celebrate.

Paradise

Everything at Tikal is just perfect. Ann Marie was a sweetheart. Her food was fabulous and it was such a treat to have every meal cooked. The house and the property are exceptional. Finally Leyre, the property manager was the best ever!!! She’s kind and sweet and was super helpful from start to finish. She popped over a few times to check in on us which was so appreciated. We felt like family at the end with everyone. We will most def be back. Thank you!!!!

Wonderful Home with a Beautiful View

This property was awesome. The home staff and property staff deserve 5 stars. My minor improvements were communicated with the property manager and were rectified throughout the stay. There was lots of space and the views are to die for. The decor is tastefull and unique. I do wish the hot water was a bit more consistent. I also recommend more time between check in and check out to give the staff more time to prepare or add an additional staff member to assist during checkouts. Also, the flies can be annoying but I think keeping the doors closed would help.

Beautiful Villa

The property was stunning and Ann Marie and Phillip couldn’t be more helpful or kind. We had a really wonderful time hanging at the villa and exploring the surrounding area.

Amazing place

I would recommend this property to anyone who wants peace serenity calm tranquility and happiness! It’s just an amazing place to spend time in Jamaica! Loved every second of staying at this place!

Amazing view!

We loved every minute spent at Tikal villa. A beautiful villa in a beautiful setting . Had our five children with us and they loved every minute spent there. All of our needs were met and more . Close to grocery store was very nice . Always felt safe with the yard security. The swimming cove down the road was very much enjoyed for all ages of our children. We would recommend this villa and would love to return ! The Koehns

Absolutely Perfect!

This was the most beautiful property. It was so relaxing and very private. The security guard Phillip made us feel very safe. The Villa was very nice, very clean and had everything we needed. We also loved Ms. Marcia our maid/cook. She made our vacation wonderful. The Chukka adventure park/horse farm is right behind the Villa. We had easy access to grocery and excursions. This has been one of our best vacations. We will definitely be back! Looking forward to seeing the staff and the most amazing sunsets.

Beyond Amazing

I'm not sure 2500 Characters are enough so I'm going to hit what I think was important to us as a family that we were not aware of but great surprises. Maria as everyone mentions is awesome and a great cook. We did not use her skills as much as we probably should have but she was still a big help. Philip was an added perk as the on premise security and just a great guy. The house was recently remodeled, AC in every room and as we say "AS ADVERTISED". The pool is actually a little closer to the house that it looks in the pictures which was great for us having a 16 month old. There are 5 Villas that share the pool but it feels like your own as everyone is on the go all the time or just relaxing on their own veranda gazing out at the ocean. Big Time bonuses - 1) Chukka Caribbean Adventures is 100 yards down the dirt road - trust me having driven in Jamaica, use them to take you on the tours. If you need a Daquiri as a break from the Red Stripe they also have a little bar and gift shop. They will pick you up right there for any tours. Blue Hole & White River Rafting were the winners in our group with Blue Hole being #1. 2) 200 yards down the dirt road was a diving pool which was a protected area (yes the ocean can get a little rough) with a 15 foot ledge that you can jump off of into the protected pool that is 25' deep. 3) .5 miles the other way down the dirt road, thru the 4 wheeling trail we found a little cove that the kids were able to surf - yes we had our own boards and it is a river rock bottom but it was fun. 6) the bat caves which are in a beautiful cove. 7) Last but not least the "Jamaican Rush Hour" - Every evening and every morning the 100 horses from Chukka trot from their stables to Chukka and every evening they trot back to their stables where they are fed. All on their own right in front of the house down the dirt road. Lastly you can walk to the Country Store or cab it and there is a large grocery store in Ocho Rios with a little more if you are feeding a family of 7 as we were. We did go out to dinner one night in Runaway Bay at Sharkies and that was outstanding with "Bathrooms Coming Soon" per the sign :) If you are thinking of a private retreat with easy access to everything this place is totally worth it - "MAKE IT HAPPEN MON" Melissa will follow up with probably a much more eloquent report. Paradise!

This place is a gem. Location is fabulous. The property manager and housekeeper/cook are both very accommodating and attentive. Very nicely furnished. The grounds and pool are well looked after. We enjoyed the small sandy cove on the property and the nearby larger cove for cliff jumping and snorkeling. We felt very safe and secure within this small group of villas. We'll be back!!

Well kept and picturesque property...tranquil even when the seas are rough...breathtaking views!

My family of six had a blast at this villa. It was our first time here having been to other villas here in Jamaica and overseas. It was very well appointed and furnished with a natural flow of light and space throughout. Marcia who has been here for over 30 years was as engaging as she was excellent in meal preparation and attending to our needs even during her own family emergency. Janet checked in with us during the stay and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Thanks to Phillip for helping to keep us safe. We saw him routinely walking the property particularly at night. Friends who passed by were very impressed with the house and its idyllic setting. Kids had a blast and we were very happy. Will certainly recommend to others. Javier, thanks for your patience with me in setting this up. PS - might consider drapes/blinds as an option for downstairs...wife mentioned feeling a little like being in a fish bowl while watching TV at night. Who do I speak with about an interest in purchasing villa 3? :-).

It was such a sweet and beautiful villa, with fantastic service in a wonderful area

The villa was well appointed and very charming, with its lovely Indian/ Balinese style. So pretty and relaxing. It was perfect for our family with its full kitchen and wonderful maid, Marcia- who cooked like a pro. Delicious Jamaican food! The villa had all that we needed. Comfy beds with cool decor and even An Apple TV for the kids to enjoy the nights, while we sipped our wine on the breezy patio. The pool was only steps away and the best part was how the kids enjoyed the coves and cliffs for snorkeling all day. There is even a cool bat cave thst we discovered! The kids were entertained from morning till night. The sea was wonderful and so much to see..from a family of squid, to cool eels and Sea snakes. It was amazing. My 4 year old daughter even met her first real life Dory! The kids were in the sea fishing and exploring. We will definitely come back and bring friends with us. It was fun, relaxing and we wish we had more time there. Great style, fit everyone with the kids loving the bunk beds, fabulous friendly service and value. Defiantly worth it!
