Mixed Feelings

I think your stay here depends on your expectations. Pros: beautifully decorated and gorgeous art, comfortable bed, quick response from hosts, close to beach with bike or scooter, lovely neighbours and a very well kept complex. The pool area was immaculate! Cons: NOISY! There was so much traffic and construction noise that it made it impossible to use the private patio area because it backs directly onto a main road. We couldn’t leave the screens open at night due to the noise so we needed to put the air conditioner on in our room overnight. Given that there is an additional charge for electricity, this was very frustrating. We had to sleep with earplugs because the noise was non stop. I understand you can’t control traffic or construction but people should still know what to expect given the stay isn’t free. You can hear everything even sitting around the pool. We left our holiday exhausted from such poor sleeps due to noise. We also would not recommend the car service provided through the hosts. After talking with locals we befriended at our complex, we were advised the price was way too expensive and it was). I would definitely source out another option. We were not even dropped off at our condo unit and just in the neighbourhood when we arrived and had to drag our luggage around trying to find our place. We were only left one garbage bag for our two week stay. We messaged the hosts and they said they would drop some off but it took 3 days for this to happen. At this point we already had to buy some ourselves. There were air fresheners everywhere. When we arrived we were immediately met with the overwhelming smell of chemical fragrance. We had to hunt down all the glade plug ins and hidden air fresheners throughout the unit and remove them for our stay (we put them back before we left). Even the towels and sheets had such a strong scent we had to wash everything on our second day because it was so overwhelming. We never asked or mentioned fragrance to the hosts before arriving so we can’t fault anyone but if you don’t enjoy or are sensitive to chemical fragrance, I would mention it before your stay. Typically is hospitality, no fragrance is used at all so it didn’t occur to us to ask. Lesson learned. Overall, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again. Could it work for some? Absolutely. Did it work for us? No.

Best Vacation Ever!

This property is one of the best we have ever stayed at! It was beautiful and so clean. We were able to move about Tulum easily. If I can give one point of feedback...there are no washcloths. I had to go buy some to wash my face. I left them there for future people! Also, be somewhat cautious about using a card at restaurants, etc. We had a fraudulent charge. Of Course, this has nothing to do with the property!

Great condo and location

My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 nights. The condo was comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed the privacy of the back patio and even made dinner on the propane grill. The bed was large and very comfortable! The only criticism I have is that the coffee maker is an espresso machine. It takes more effort to make multiple cups of coffee. We did lose power for a night, the property manager was quick to respond! Not much that could be done about that. The location was perfect! It wasn’t too far into aldea zama, so getting to the beach was quick! We loved the new breakfast cafe Rosalia that was right up the street. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic tropical Property

My boyfriend Chris and I had an excellent time to the point where we plan on returning in July with our children. This place was clean, easily accessible, centrally located and very comfortable in every aspect. Thank you for providing us with such a nice stay. I would also like to add that for an additional fee, Liv helped me prep the room for my boyfriends birthday with some decor and a special gift and she was terrific !!! 5 star service across the board!

Puerta Zama condo

The location of this condo is convenient. It is an easy bike ride to the grocery. Biking to the beach is possible although traffic on the beach road is somewhat congested. Getting to and from town or the beach is easy as there are always taxis about. The condo complex was very nice and quiet. The pool area was well maintained and quiet (for those times we did not feel like going to the beach). Overall the condo was quiet and comfortable.

Merveilleux séjour dans un lieu de rêve

Tout était parfait: un appartement vaste, très bien aménagé et bien équipé situé au bord de la piscine. Sécurité totale puisqu'un gardien se situe à la barrière d'entrée jour et nuit. Place de parking toujours disponible devant l'appartement, La meilleure location de toutes celles que nous avons faites dans le monde. Michel et Geneviève

Lovely Spacious Condo with Gorgeous Courtyard Pool

I booked this as a surprise for my husband's birthday with the intention of spending a few days of rest and relaxation by the pool and it fit the bill perfectly! The condo is spacious and modern with a beachy decor and two terraces. The terrace in the back is quite private and we really enjoyed having use of the gas grill. We didn't have a chance to try the jacuzzi as it had just rained so there were too many mosquitoes but it didn't matter as the pool was very inviting in this hot season! We loved the little front patio that faced the pool and ate most of our meals out there so we could enjoy the view. Since we were really just here for lazy days by the pool and are familiar with the area, we didn't venture out much, just a short walk to Chaka Bar for a nice dinner and a break from cooking. However, the condo is ideally located between the beach and the town centre so it's an easy bike ride in either direction to enjoy all the sights and to dine at one of the hundreds of restaurants that Tulum has to offer. Loved, loved, loved the pool and how quiet and tranquil this particular condo complex was. We will be back for sure!!!
