We loved the peace and quiet at this lakeside rental. We also loved the fact the unit was very well equipped and very, very roomy, with a great view of the lake. Sadly, there are no real sport fish in the lake. Even so, I would have rented the unit again for the whole month of June next year, but I see someone has, once again, locked up the middle week. Sad face lol

Welcome to Alaska

We moved to Alaska and this was where we stayed when we finished our long drive on the Alcan. A truly beautiful home with wonderful hosts. Thank you for making our first days in Alaska so welcoming! The views are stunning and the house feels like a true home. We are very thankful!

Alaska in October

This is a lovely home! We visited family in the town of Big Lake and took day trips north and south to explore. We would love to visit in the summer and use the kayaks. Beautiful location on Birch Lake. We definitely hope to return soon.

Beautiful Place

Becky’s house is very clean and sits right on Birch Lake. It’s so quiet and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. We would love to stay here again.

Very nice house.

We really enjoyed our time at this house. It was very clean and comfortable. We were spending most of our time with our son and his family, so we didn’t spend much time in the house. Thank you for providing us with a ice place to stay.

A Wonderful Place To Stay

This property was amazing and Becky our hostess went above and beyond the call of duty. The property feels brand new and has the most beautiful, picturesque setting. The place was well furnished and well-appointed. I would stay there again over and over.

Beautiful view

My daughter and I stayed at this location. It was quiet and felt safe. The house is clean and the beds were comfortable and bathrooms were nicely equipped with soap and amenities. Kitchen was a great size of the counter, space and the gas stove.

Winter Getaway!

Beautiful location and well appointed with everything you could need. We felt safe and secure with plenty of space for the three of us. The heated floors were amazing! Great views of the lake surrounded by frosty trees. We would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay!

A Lovely Stay

This was a perfect space for my husband and our son. Home was warm, clean, quiet, and very inviting. Morning coffee with that lake view will bring me back again.

Outstanding Property!

The property manager's communication and visit instructions were superb! The house was exceptionally clean and well-maintained and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, etc. This was an outstanding property; highly recommended!

Perfect Stay on Birch Lake

The home was clean and cozy. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beautiful scenery looking out over the lake with the fire going was so nice to come back to each evening. We will be back!

Fantastic views and accommodations

We loved everything about this property...the only exception being that the beds were perhaps a little too low to the ground and the pillows needed to be replaced. However, we loved it there and our stay was great.

We are empty-nesters, having raised a large, blended family, all of which are now scattered around the country. We have 11 grandchildren, and we expect that number to grow.

We live in Kansas, but recently purchased this property in Alaska because we have family that live there. Our son-in-law is the builder, and he and our daughter are co-owners with us. We are excited about starting a business venture with our Alaska family.

The property was designed with senior living in mind. It is all on one level, with wide doors and hallway, and easy shower access. However, the cozy and well-appointed home, the lake, and frequent wildlife views will be a real pleasure for all ages. The property is located within a quiet and secure gated community.
