Longhorn Cove is a brand new stone cabin located on a secluded cove that flows into Lake LBJ. This home is not located at Log Country Cove but it is very close driving distance and shares all the same waterfront amenities offered at Log Country Cove. Longhorn Cove is managed by Log Country Cove, with 20+ years of 5 star hospitality in the Kingsland area. Non-motorized items included in your stay.

Great place to stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Such a wonderful and quiet place to stay! So clean and well furnished. I’ve never stayed in a place that was so beautifully decorated and well stocked! We enjoyed just relaxing and using the amenities. One day it rained and it was marvelous to sit out back and enjoy that! Would definitely come back.

Amazing stay!

Fantastic Wedding Weekend Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived Friday afternoon 6/2 & stayed through Sunday. At first we got lost trying to find the house. The grass & wild flowers are so high, we didn’t see the street sign. LOL I was also disappointed we were not inside the resort. Once we found the house, we we blown away. Gorgeous home. Beautiful inside & out. Immaculate. It was so quiet & peaceful. We couldn’t see any neighbors. Drinking coffee on the patio both morning’s & listening to the wildlife was wonderful. I can’t wait to stay there again. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

Great Cabin...minus the Internet

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall cabin was very nice and clean, but found it separated from the rest of the resort and difficult to initially find. There is internet available, but I found that my phone service was much better as their wifi was very slow. But you really don't come to the hill country for the internet. Overall, it was a nice getaway.

A very modern and clean place to stay

Reviewer Comments: Stayed here for a three night business trip with a few people and was very satisficed with overall condition and location of the property. We would stay here again if needed. The only slightly negative comment we had was no extra blankets and sheets were available to make up the pull out couches, which we needed so we had to improvise. other than that, a very nice place.

Master bath draining issue

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The master bathroom shower was not made to drain correctly. Water was all over the floor after a shower and eventually pooled behind the opened restroom door. This is a slipping hazard on the slick concrete floor and I'm glad we noticed it when we did to soak up all the water.

The only issue we had was when showering it leaked all over the floor, but nothing laying down a towel couldn’t fix. This house is beautiful on the inside and so well maintained!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There is a reason no pictures of the view from the back of the longhorn cove cabin are shown. The house was lovely, however, directly across the creek sits a travel trailer type home complete with junk storage and the works. The view out of the back of this beautiful home is 100% ruined by this. Other than that, this cabin was perfect. The staff were all very nice.

Peaceful getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful cabin, clean and peaceful. We had two 13 year olds with us so I think staying on the property would’ve have been more ideal for them so they were closer to basketball hoop, water activities and other kids. Great place to read and unwind. If you plan on watching movies you may want to bring DVD’s as the WiFi was spotty.

Loved the Texas theme!

Nice stay! Pros: light switches are labeled; everything fairly new; nice patio and outdoor fireplace; comfortable feel; nice king size beds; everything we needed for a 2 day stay. Cons: water too shallow to fish; concrete floors throughout home cold in winter; water from shower leaks into bathroom amd under baseboard; leftover coffee grounds and filter from previous guests; bumpy dirt road to home's location; ceiling fan in bedroom makes noise
