Good size place to stay for couple families. Overall clean but could use some updates, esp in the bathrooms

Family Event

12 of us stayed at this location for a family gathering event. We enjoyed our time together, the back deck was nice for eating, games and chats. Didn’t know initially that a chiropractor office was on the first floor. Queen bedroom was small and the bedframe felt like it was broken with the noises it made. Makeshift bathroom with furnace/air conditioner was interesting. Very convenient to go to the water park across the road, and mini golf too!

10/10 stay!!!! Highly recommend

Dan went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! Great communication and extremely friendly. I have stayed at many VRBO’s and no one has cared as much as Dan has about making sure all of our needs were met! We were even offered to check in early and stay later, which was such a nice perk! The location is amazing— everything is walking distance and we had a great time at the park, waterpark, and beach! If you are looking for a 10/10 experience I highly recommend this house!

Great space for a big family

We had a great stay! Excellent communication with the property owner, easy access to the park, beach, and pier, and plenty of room for everyone to stay. We would rent again!

Perfect place for a family gathering!

This property was the perfect place for our family to gather for meals and hanging out. Our family of 6 stayed comfortably at the property and extended family stayed at the resort across the street. There are restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a water park, and the lake within walking distance! The host was very responsive to needs and during the check in process. Very easy to work with! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and the back deck is so fun and spacious! Simply a wonderful place to stay!

Week in Storm lake

Dan was amazing with communication and the overall space was mostly as described. Positives: The place is right across the street from the water park and walking distance from a really nice park. The place is very large with plenty of space to spread out. The desk is very large with speakers, lights and firepit. Great for adults after the kids went to bed. The kitchen was fully stocked and we didn't have any issues finding what we needed. Negatives: The place is more outdated than we expected. One bathroom is the utility closet. The main road outside is way busier than we expected making the large bedroom very noisy at all times of the day. The desk is rough and several of us got splitters. Wear shoes.

Great little getaway

We found Storm Lake as a meeting spot between the Twin Cities and Omaha. Our 2 families spent the weekend at the beach and waterpark and this home was in the perfect spot for both. Great weekend!

Home to Storm Lake

Great house and lovely patio for large group to socialize. Right across the street from kings Pointe where the kids had a great time!! The Regatta restaurant there was also very good and handy. Lots of supplies in kitchen such as spices, coffee, condiments in fridge, lots of towels. All was great… only negative might be no washer/dryer. We had a short stay so it wasn’t really necessary.

All is well

Our group was a little to big for this place. Open space was good for hanging out. Not the most comfortable couches/futon. The deck was a great spot for late evening lounging. Very good location for Storm Lake. Really enjoyed our selection of activities.

Great place to stay

The location was great. We were right next to the water park, the beach, coffee shop, and ice cream shop. A lot of space for everyone especially for a two year old to run around in. Great space outside for grilling and a gas firepit. The property manager quickly answered text on where extra supplies were located and how to unlock the door when I was have trouble with it.

Family Vacation

Very nice. Had everything we needed and more. Even with the little A/C mishap it turned out great. Already plan on coming back again sometime.

Smaller than the original posting

The property was great, close to a water park and a large lake, the only draw back, when I originally booked this home it said there was a downstairs with recreational game s, this was suppose to be a gathering for a family wedding. Once I arrived and found out we only had 1 level we had to change our plans... We did enjoy our stay, just wish the booking matched what we ended up getting.
