History Room in Paradise Bed and Breakfast on Lake Martin

If you like to step back into time and enjoy the nostalgia of years past, the “The History Room” is meant for you. We have decorated with love letters written between our parents during their courting days, our Dads’ military memorabilia, photos of grandparents as children, and items from our childhood and more. The room is a testament to times past. The king size four poster bed will provide for a very relaxing experience. There is a private balcony, facing the lake, for your relaxation and enjoyment. There are shared spaces on the docks, decks and screened porch. The beautiful private bath continues the “History” theme, with vintage cologne and talc containers in the décor that add to the nostalgia. You can relax in the bathtub, using the locally made bath products to enhance the experience.

Perfect Getaway

In town for Auburn game and found this amazing property and wonderful hosts. Everything about this stay was perfect-location, property and a delicious breakfast on the deck -overlooking the lake. Serenity. Highly recommend!

One night

A beautiful location on the lake. The room we stayed in was large and the bed was super comfy. Its a little out of the way, but all the best spots are. Mrs. Kathy is a great, chatty hostess. We had a great breakfast prepared by her.

Game Day Getaway

We enjoyed our weekend stay in the history room at the B&B. Kathy & Dave are wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. The Lake Martin area is so peaceful and a great place to stay for an Auburn game weekend. War Eagle!

Girl Trip

Our planned trip to Atlanta got canceled unexpectedly and we booked last minute with Paradise Bed and Breakfast. We could not have asked for a better place to spend the weekend! The room was beautifully decorated and the homemade breakfast that Kathy made each morning was delicious! The spot on the lake was perfect and they provided kayaks, paddle boards, floats, everything we needed to enjoy the water. We will definitely be making a return trip!

Truly a paradise.

Everything was fantastic. The owner, Kathy, makes sure that everything is top notch. First class hospitality and the breakfast is better then anything you can buy.

Weekend Getaway

Our first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast and I have to say we are hooked. Kathy was the best host anyone could ask for. Our breakfast each day was wonderful, our room was beautiful, and the view was breathtaking. You will not be disappointed with this beautiful home. I plan on going back for sure,

Relaxing peaceful and wonderful water fun

Very beautiful setting on lake Martin. Dave and Kathy were incredible hosts who were available for every need. Delicious breakfast great service clean spacious room. Definitely a place to return to.
