We had SUCH a wonderful time here! Despite being a group of 4 adults over 30 traveling without children, we really appreciated the safe family-friendly atmosphere of the house and within the escape community! Felt almost like being in a movie! We had everything we needed, from towels and linens to detergent and plenty of cookware, and the Dutch's market about 10 mins down the road had just about anything else! The upstairs ac is a bit noisy in the bunk room but house stayed nice and cool during a major heatwave! Ron was an amazing host and was helpful and easy to reach out to when we had questions. Would absolutely book here again!

Thank you so much for your kind review! It was a pleasure hosting your group, and I am thrilled to hear you had such a wonderful time. I’m glad you enjoyed the house and the community atmosphere—it’s great to know that everything was comfortable and well-stocked for your stay. Thank you for the feedback regarding the upstairs AC unit in the bunk room; I will certainly look into that to ensure a quieter experience for future guests. I’m especially happy to hear the house stayed nice and cool despite the recent heatwave! It was a pleasure having you, and I would be delighted to host you all again anytime. Safe travels, and I hope to see you back soon!

A great family friendly experience

We enjoyed having the lake view and pool as well. the fishing and kayaking was great! We did a slide poontoon cruise which was everyones highlight! The house was great. we found dirty dishes in the cabinets and discovered the dishwasher was not working... The clothes dryer was a bit slow. Again we greatly enjoyed our stay! Thanks so much. Ron was very helpful answering all our pretrip questions.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house over the holiday weekend while celebrating our daughter’s 25th birthday. It was the perfect place for our whole family and my daughter’s closest friends to come together, relax, and enjoy some much-needed quality time. The setting was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The lake is directly across the street, and having the two kayaks available for us to use was such a wonderful bonus. We especially loved spending the evening gathered around the fire pit, it was one of those simple moments that everyone will remember. The bunkbed room was such a fun touch! Even though our “kids” and their friends are all grown adults (30, 25, and 23), they felt like they were back at summer camp again, and it brought out so many laughs and memories. The patio was very spacious and perfect for hanging out together. We loved having the little bar area and grill available (which we didn’t even get to use) as well. Everything made it easy to spend time together without feeling like we needed to leave the property. Most of all, we loved how relaxing the entire weekend felt. The house, the lake, the fire pit, the peaceful surroundings, and the time together as a family made this birthday celebration extra special. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this beautiful property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and a wonderful place to make family memories.

As promised

As promised. First time at this property. House was very clean, situated across from the marina. Kids loved the playground / pool / lake so close. House was amazing and fit 2 families with plenty of room. 5 kids 13-8 all had fun and all 4 parents were able to relax in the spacious deck out front. First time personally on VRBO and it went seamlessly. House felt like a home, not a rental.

Birthday Getaway!

My husband and brother celebrate a birthday the same week! Six family members went to Cousins Cove for a relaxing celebration get-away! Our stay was wonderful. The Cove was a great, laid-back retreat for our family. Wonderful location. The host was very responsive to my questions. We enjoyed our stay so very much, and, hope to make more trips to Cousins Cove!

Clean and close to the lake

The house was clean and fit our needs. Kitchen and house were stocked with essentials. There was a water boil advisory when we were there and Ron was nice enough to refund us a night because we had young children and it was a little too much a of a hassle worrying about accidentally drinking the water. The house is very close to the lake and pool.
