Tiny Mountain Cabin under the pines. Close to town. Dogs ok.

Vintage 1930's Idyllwild studio cabin. Updated and charming. Step back in time to when life was much simpler. Newly furnished and close the village and hiking trails.

We are dog friendly. This small studio features a comfortable queen bed, and a loft area designed for little people. Also, a nice kitchenette well stocked for cooking and 1 full bath. There is parking, wifi and Direct-tv stream. This cabin is ideal for 2 people who want an inexpensive getaway. A 3rd person can sleep in the loft area if desired (Requires climbing up a ladder) Small people/children are best. Not ideal for toddlers.

Beautiful tiny cabin with everything you may need. Very clean and stocked, at the back of a cabin complex with a little area your pets can enjoy. Perfectly located, close to the town and hiking trails.

The place is charming and just off the beaten path. Extremely quiet neighborhood! Of note, the knobs on the range in the kitchen are sensitive and fire will turn on if you bump into it. Be careful!

Great little getaway

This cabin really WAS tiny, but it was just right for 2 of us! Full kitchen and bath, nice outdoor patio, and very quiet overnight. We had a comfortable, relaxing stay here and would gladly do it again!

Lovely little cabin in the woods! Perfect for a short weekend getaway and very cozy. A little far between the car parking and the cabin to carry items, but well lit and we didn’t have a lot of stuff. Lots of amenities provided in the kitchen and bathroom. We had one issue involving the bed on our last day but Mark was quick to respond and super understanding, and he took charge to fix it as soon as possible. Would stay at cabin C again!

I am a female combat veteran with a service dog and came to Idyllwild for respite. It was absolutely perfect for us! The property manager was very quick with a question I had. The bed was firm and very comfortable. Keep in mind that the loft is only accessible by a drop-down ladder. :) The cabin had everything s person could want: well appointed kitchen including spices, etc. I was impressed that there was a first aid kit in the bathroom vanity. It's the small details that make a big difference. I liked being away from the main part of town, but also know the walk to the town center is a bit crazy due to the fast traffic down the 285 with basically no shoulder. Otherwise, definitely the highest rating for this great-priced gem. Go relax and watch the sun set from the loft amidst the pines. My service dog loved it, too.

Great get away

This property was just as described. Little cabin with a kitchen. We arrived right at the end of the snow season and the yard was perfect for my dog to run in the snow. An easy drive into town or a doable walk.

Short and Sweet Getaway

My boyfriend and I celebrated 2 years together and had the most wonderful stay! There were pots, pans, spices and soaps, washcloths, towels and an adorable electric fireplace. Snow was still around but the low was mid 30s. We did a hike, checked out some delicious local food, shopped, and enjoyed some Netflix inside along with some cozy blankets. Thank you!

The tiny cabin was a nice little place to escape to, just me and my dog. Very quiet and peaceful even with the other cabins occupied I rarely was aware of anyone around. Bed is comfy, plenty of towels, extra pillows, good television options. Kitchen is okay, cooking wasn’t on my things to do list so it didn’t matter. Had a few ants, but a little spray took care of that. When I did have to haul out the laptop the internet connection was great. I would stay here again for sure.

Surface level, everything looks nice aside from some cosmetic things (bathroom vanity door hanging off / light fixture dangling / exposed outlet / sink not being sealed)But the kicker came when the bathroom sink would not drain after having the water on for 6 seconds - unusable - had to brush teeth and wash face in the kitchenKitchen faucet sprays off to the right onto the counter when turned on - soaked our stuffHad less than 5 min of hot water, so showers suckedBathmat was moldyTowels smelled of moldMark (manages the property) was fairly responsive when I messaged over the app, but did not offer to send out a plumber to fix thingsSpoke to Steve, other owner, on the phone. Very nice and listened to everything and passed it all along to Mark When I asked about us working out compensation for the inconvenience I was refunded 25 and told that these were all “minor inconveniences” — that is what really triggered me. I gave them the rest of our stay plus 5 days to try and rectify the situation, but they did not respond any further. Filed a complaint w Vrbo

Jacob, was an extremely high maintenance guest. While some of his complaints were valid, others were not. he was being petty about everything. The plumber came in and unclogged the sink. The Tiny cabin has an RV water tank so short showers are recommended due to its size. Jacob stayed for entire 2 days as well. I encourage all guests to read our many 5 star reviews. Thank you.

I really enjoyed the surrounding trees. It is very quiet as well. A small cottage in the woods. The property is well maintained.I like the kitchen in the cabin. It makes me feel like home with everything you need to prepare a meal. The heating is great too.Thank you for making me a nice getaway!

While living in Palm Springs, Idyllwild was a birthday trip for me in 2013. I fell in love with this little town. I ended up buying a cabin right away. I moved back to LA in 2015, but after 4 years I decided to make this magical place my home permanently. It's like living in paradise!

It's like stepping back in time to the 1930's. Vintage Idyllwild for sure. You just don't find them like this anymore.
