Completely renovated Edgartown cape with New Pool ~ Sleeps 14

Completely renovated Katama/Edgartown Cape located in the desirable Island Grove area. It features a new salt water pool, indoor/outdoor bar and entertainment room, as well as a bunk room that sleeps 6.
The first floor features a modern layout with open Living, Dining and Kitchen Areas. The spacious living area has sectional seating, fireplace and media center. It opens to the casual dining area and kitchen. The updated Gourmet Kitchen has stainless appliances, and quartz counters. The kitchen also has a sliding glass door that opens to a back deck and the pool area.

One of the five Bedrooms and shared bath are also on the first floor. The Master Suite, and the three additional Bedrooms are upstairs. The Master has vaulted ceilings with beams, and en suite bath. There are two additional bedrooms with two twin beds that share a bath on the second floor.

The bunk room features 6 beds and a 1/2 bath.

A newly added game room features an indoor/outdoor pass through bar, a 65" TV, and more.
The new heated 16 by 32-foot saltwater pool is located right off the bar room. The sunny setting features lounge seating around the pool and a large bluestone patio with grilling, dining, ping pong and entertaining areas.
The house is located near Morning Glory Farm, and about a mile from downtown Edgartown, and two miles from South Beach.

Fantastic Family Vacation Home

This is the third year in a row we’ve stayed here and each time has been wonderful. From the pool to the screened porch, game room and fully appointed kitchen, this home has everything you need for memorable Vineyard stay.

Vineyard Bliss

This wonderful property is conveniently located for easy access to town and beaches. The pool, games, amenities and lovely screened porch make this the perfect location for a family stay. And, Morning Glory Farms is a walk away.

Perfect for family gatherings!

Stunning property which is even better in person compared to the pictures. Lots of space for our group of 12 which included 2 children. The game room was great and well stocked with games and was the perfect hangout spot. The backyard area with pool, patio, and large screened in porch was beautiful and relaxing. Really nice to have a ping pong table and outdoor shower. Great location in a quiet neighborhood close to town and Morning Glory Farms.

Fantastic Family Home

This home is perfect for a family getaway. Every detail has been thought through—from the games, ping pong table, pool, video game console and outdoor space to the well-appointed kitchen—to create a comfortable experience. We loved it!

Beautiful home, great location

This is our second summer at Chris’s Edgartown cape home. The home is beautiful, comfortable and clean. Location is prefect, walk to Morning Glory Farm, minutes by car from Edgartown, close to the beach. Communication with Chris was easy, he responded quickly to our questions. Most enjoyed by the kids ages 9-14 were the pool and the ping pong table. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Home in Quiet Neighborhood Near Edgartown

This home was absolutely perfect for our family's return back to Martha's Vineyard! The house itself is much larger than it appears, and is so well laid out and beautifully furnished! All of the bedrooms are roomy, the upstairs loft for my kids was unbelievable, and all of the spaces are just so thoughtfully designed to allow people to have their own space, all while being together. Our favorite spot was definitely the outdoor eating area/porch - just stunning! The location was also top-notch. Close to bike paths and Edgartown, yet far enough away from the crowds made this neighborhood feel even more charming. Also loved the access to the farm down the street. A truly wonderful stay - hope to return for another wonderful family trip. Thank you!

Exceeded my expectations.

Chris. the owner of this beautiful home was easy to get in touch with before our stay and during our stay. The house was well stocked with items I don’t usually see in most rentals such as ziplock bags, tinfoil, Saran Wrap, and trash bags. The house was perfect for our party of 10. We had everything we needed to prepare meals when we chose to stay in and the grill was large enough to accommodate our group. The screened in porch was spectacular and was nice to have when we had a rainy day or just wanted to get out of the sun. The patio did have a large umbrella that covered a very comfortable seating area. We enjoyed the heated pool. The house was beautifully decorated and the game room came in handy on the cooler rainy days. When we did go to the beach we were thrilled to see beautiful Tommy Bahama beach chairs. The location of the house was great. We were able to ride our bikes downtown to shop and grab lunch. I would not hesitate to rent this fabulous home again.

Wow! Really nice, recently renovated property!

My family and another shared this beautiful home for a week in mid July. It was fantastic! It provided a great home base for us. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room. You could easily sleep more kids in the bunk room over the game room area. The pool was amazing and surrounding outdoor living areas was really comfortable. Very nice new outdoor furniture with a huge shade umbrella, lounge chairs and an outdoor ping pong table! The kitchen was a perfect size for our group. All the appliances and kitchen utensils were very new and quality. We spent a lot of time cooking in and it was very enjoyable. The grill is awesome as well, very new and high quality. Ample towels are provided for the pool and the new HE washer and dryer were great to keep dry towels available for pool users. We rented bikes and kept them in the fenced in back yard when not in use. It makes a nice ride into Edgartown, Doable for my preteens and young teeenager. There is also a super cute market less than a 1/2 mile down the road. It is an easy ride or walk. The Market specializes in fresh produce and high end products. Probably not where you stock up for the week but worth visiting during your stay and super convienient. I highly recommend this house!

Loved this house!!!!

We couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience we had renting this beautiful home! Chris the owner was the most pleasant VRBO owner to work with. He worked with the amount of nights we needed and was super flexible - even after I changed the dates a number of times before we booked. The house was amazing in every way. We had 6 adults and 6 kids. Kids ages ranged from 6-12 yrs old. The pool was just what we needed to keep the kids entertained. The outdoor furniture is super comfortable & beautiful- a perfect way to relax while watching the kids play in the pool. The house has been beautifully renovated and the decor is spot on for a coastal cottage. The owner really thought out the design and decor of this house to make it a family vacation dream come true. We all enjoyed playing on the shuffleboard and ping pong table. All the beds were comfortable as well as the furniture inside. The kids loved the bunk room! We walked to Morning Glory Farm to pick up gourmet cheeses, pies and fresh produce. We rented bikes in town for one day, but would definitely suggest renting bikes for the entire stay next time. We will definitely be renting here again. Thank you Chris for all of your awesome dining suggestions and allowing our friends and family to enjoy the most memorable 5 nights on MV! We dined at Atria for a delicious dinner and sat outside on the lawn under the lights and it was absolutely dreamy. We drove to Menemsha and ordered chowder, oysters and lobsters as we watched the most amazing sunset I have ever seen. We had a few lunches at The Shanty with the kids and enjoyed some of the best Bloody Mary's on the rooftop deck overlooking the water. The Covington was a last minute decision where we stopped in for a dinner and drinks at the bar. We rented bikes in downtown Edgartown and took them over the ferry to Chappaquiddick for a lovely ride down to Cape Poge Little Neck Beach. The Edgartown lighthouse was a beautiful sight to see. We spent our beach days at South Beach for the calmer waves. The older kids & adults loved jumping off the "Jaws Bridge". We used a licensed baby sitting service 2 nights and both sitters were excellent -MV Sitters-Lori the owner was a bit laid back on confirming our babysitters, but it all worked out. The only suggestions I have are to bring beach towels and bug spray. The house has some tiki torches, but the bugs on the beach are hungry! Bring/Rent bikes-Downtown Edgartown is a couple of miles away.

Fantastic stay at Katama!

A group of eight of us recently made our first trip to Martha's Vineyard and spent a week at Katama. The pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this property, inside and out. Our group has traveled together for many years, and stayed in many different properties, this house received A+ ratings from everyone. The property is well maintained and every room was beautifully decorated and with comfortable furniture. The kitchen, family room and enclosed porch were perfect for our meals and gatherings. Also, Chris is accessible and great to work with for any questions or issues.

Absolutely Perfect

The home, location, booking/check-in process were all amazing. We can say enough about the amenities and finishes of the home. We had 7 adults and 5 kids on this trip. The kids wing made it perfect for us.

Spacious beautiful home!

We had a lovely week at this Katama home. We were 5 adults and 7 children. The space was perfect, the home was clean, equipped with all we needed. The kids loved the game room, played shuffleboard and vintage video games. One of the best things was the heated pool and outdoor space! Chris communicated well with us, answered our questions quickly and made check in and check out easy. We would highly recommend and return!

Wonderful vacation week

This property has plenty of space for a large family or friends in a great location. Pool is beautiful and beach access very easy. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

Fabulous Vacation

Two families rented this house for 10 nights and we had plenty of space. 9 adults and my 2 grandchildren, 2 1/2 and 1 1/2, the house is perfectly decorated and we used all 5 bedrooms. We were here for a wedding and Chris, the owner was flexible with the dates we needed. The house was nicer in person then in the pictures. We loved the heated pool and all the comfortable outdoor furniture. The game room was fun and we were pleasantly surprised to have a peloton to use. The location is great and we would be happy to rent this house again.

Wonderful house

We rented the house for one week for a family reunion. We were 7 adults and one infant. The house is very tastefully decorated, recently renovated and very well designed for a large group. The owner Chris has been always helpful and very prompt to respond. The house is spacious Everyone enjoyed the heated pool and spent lots of time on the large patio Because of covid we cooked a lot at home, the kitchen is well equipped and has all new appliances The location is close to town we could easily bike to town and it is only a few minutes by car to the beach. One of the best markets in Martha's Vineyard the "Morning Glory Market" was very convenient and only a walk away. We would highly recommend this house!

Great House in Edgartown

We rented this property for our summer vacation. The house was in perfect condition at check-in- very clean with great updated rooms; well decorated but without being chintzy. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment; there were plenty of towels. The kids loved the pool, the ping pong table, and the shuffleboard game. Our location was great- we biked into Edgartown Center each morning and occasionally in the afternoon. Beaches were a short drive away. I have no reservations about recommending this property to anyone wanting to visit Martha’s Vineyard.

Fantastic House for a family vacation

The house is newly renovated, everything is modern and clean. Lots of room for a family to relax in and the pool and outdoor ping pong table was a big hit. We just rented bikes for the week and rode to town and south beach- great location.
