Whether you are staying to relax and rejuvenate, to enjoy some good laughs with a friend, or to romance a loved one, the Serenity Cabin has a little something for everyone.

Located in the beautiful municipality of Metchosin, the Serenity Cabin is central to various hiking trails, sandy beaches, an abundance of nature appreciation, and borders Matheson Lake Park.

Drive or walk down to the lake to enjoy the spectacular scenery. As well as hiking, biking, trout fishing, canoeing/kayaking, and swimming. If you are looking to dine out MyChosen Café and MyChosen Pizza are only minutes away.

Just around the corner is Pedder Bay Marina, known for its world class fishing grounds. Enjoy a Starbucks coffee, alcoholic beverage and a bite to eat while watching the boats go by. Also offering power boat rentals, kayaking, and fishing charters if you're looking to spend time out on ocean.

The interior has that rustic West Coast feel with lots of wood features and accents. Accommodates four comfortably, with an open concept living area with pullout sectional couch and large bedroom with a king size bed. The space is completely furnished, has a fully equipped kitchen, full bath, and wood burning fireplace. Head outdoors where you will find the patio area, offering a private hot tub and outdoor shower, fire pit, seating area and BBQ.

The cell service is a little hit and miss but there is WIFI for you to link to. There is parking for multiple vehicles or trailer. We do allow smoking outdoors but have strict rules. There is no cable TV but there is a streaming device and movies.

During the hotter months campfires are not allowed. A propane fire pit is provided but unfortunately the propane is not. We do provide a tank but it would be up to the guest to have it exchanged for a full one at our local corner store.

A wagon load of wood is provided for the indoor fireplace. We have large bins of firewood in the shed for $20. E-transfer is preferred for payment, the email address is located on the fridge. Please send a quick message and we will respond with the lock box code.

We are pet friendly but ask that you respect our rules. There is an extra fee of $30/pet, ***please add this fee when booking. All pets have to be kept in close proximity (not free to roam) or on leash when outside. We ask that you use the shovel provided to flick into the bushes. We really dislike having to handle left behind bagged dog poop.
