Free Covered Boat Slip, Fire Pit, and New Renovations in Fall 2024!! Come and be our guests in beautiful Cumberland County Kentucky for your next getaway. We have just finished a Fire Pit with a gravelled 20X20 Foot sitting area with 12 chairs for Fall of 2024!! I only stock with high quality seasoned firewood. Almost exclusively Oak and HIckory. We have New Furnishings & Renovations throughout for 2024. We installed Waterproof flooring throughout, new Paint throughout, and New toilets. New furnishings and decorations throughout the house as well. New Bedding/linens, utensils, etc. are stocked in this house along with upgraded Fiber Optic WIFI & Mesh Wireless Modem for a great signal around the house and basement. The cabin sits on 8.5 Acres with plenty of parking for trailers and a sloping fenced pasture in back surrounded by a treeline beyond. Relax and enjoy the evening sunset on the connected back deck/carport/front porch while grilling dinner on our 2023 Large Weber Propane Grill. We have 2 47 Inch LED TV's w/ You Tube TV (with expanded Sports Package) and Roku Access for any channels you wish to watch so you can enjoy the race or game after a day on the lake. Additional Living Room area in the basement is great for the kids that would like to hang out by themselves or play video games or watch their favorite channels. The property is less than a city block from the Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park Gate, Golf Course, and the State Park Marina. 12Ft.X24Ft. COVERED Boat slip included Free with your stay! We are also Approx. 20 Min. from the 2 nearest boat ramps with access to the Cumberland River where the State Record Brown Trout was caught near the Burkesville Public Boat Ramp. The closest Lake Cumberland Marina is Approx. 30 MInutes away (Grider Hill) or 40 Minutes away For Beaver Creek Dam Public Ramp.

We do allow dogs for an additional $100.00 Fee. From the end of May to the first of August our place is only available for weekly reservations from Saturday to Saturday for our guests planning their yearly family vacations. The rest of the late Spring/Summer months are 3 Day stay minimum and most of the rest of the year is a 2 Day minimum stay. Until someone books through VRBO our phone numbers/contact info is redacted. I would highly recommend staying here. The house was so clean and comfortable to be in. The host was very helpful and great to work with. A big plus was the closeness to the State park and having the boat slip. We loved seeing the horses out back and listening to the birds in the morning while sitting on the porch. We hope to stay here again with even more family .

This is a great property. The boat dock is definitely a plus. The house was very clean. It has quick access to the state park boat ramp. All amenities as described. Great place for a family. Todd was very responsive to any questions. He is the first host that has called before our stay in case we had any questions. We loved this place!!!

The owner called before our arrival to go over check-in instructions and some other things we needed to know. The house is conveniently located to the lake and having a boat slip is always nice. It was very clean upon our arrival (they have a great housekeeper). We had a great stay and hope to stay again in the future.

Stayed here with a couple friends for fishing and golfing… very convenient location for both. The house was clean with nice comfortable furniture. Lots of outdoor space. Great layout for a group. The horse farm in the back was unique and fun to watch the horses from the back porch. The host was friendly and accommodating and we appreciated all the small details like plenty of towels, coffee, and firewood included. No complaints at all. We will definitely be back soon.

Golf vacation

Very clean and nice property very close to Dale Hollow golf course. Host was very accommodating. Will stay here again if possible.

Great place

Second time we have stayed here. First time since the upgrades and the place is real nice. We stayed there for a golf trip to Dale Hollow golf course and it is literally by hole 11. Todd is great to work with. I would highly recommend this place.

Awesome Trip

Awesome place to stay. There is plenty of room for 6 guys and a great location right down the road from the golf course and the lake. Todd was super responsive with any questions I had. Can't wait to go back.

Loved the relaxing, rolling hills of Kentucky. Sat outside to savor coffee in the morning and then off to the lake in the afternoon. You can’t get much closer to Dale Hollow State Park where the boat slip is than Dailey’s Surprise. The accommodations were spotless but not in a “Don’t touch anything inside Aunt _____’s house” way. We really appreciated our conversation with Todd about the forecasted weather as it helped us make the decision to bring our boat in spite of our weather app forecasting nothing but rain for our entire stay. We brought our boat and used it every day we were there.

Fishing trip

Was very pleased with the facility. Plenty of towels available. Shower was hot. Beds were comfy. Overall pleasant stay.

Great place to stay close to the lake!

The property was so clean and we loved all the outside space for sitting on the deck. We used the nice grill for dinner the first night! Being able to sit in the back and watch the horses in the field was very nice as well! The convenience of having a boat slip included was amazing! We will definitely book again!

We are just a city block distance from the Dale Hollow State Park entrance and we offer a free boat slip at the Marina located Approx. 2 miles through the Park. We offer peaceful lodging on 8.5 acres with plenty of room for parking and trailers. In the Spring of 2024 we renovated and replaced all of the furnishings from 2017. New waterproof flooring was installed throughout the house. Interior was painted throughout and 2 larger toilets were installed along with many other cosmetic changes. New furnishings and decorations as well as linens, kitchenware Etc. were purchased. Electric Reclining Sectional on main floor with large kitchen table for Eight. 2 tables are located just outside the kitchen for Eight in carport area next to the large Weber Propane grill purchased in 2023. Additional chairs are on back deck. The Couch in the basement is a Queen hideaway bed for extra sleeping options.

One of the closest if not the closest vacation property to the entrance of Dale Hollow State Park. The Park is less than a city block from our property. We sit on a side road next to the Park entrance. Plenty of parking space and open ground to easily maneuver your trailer(s) and park multiple vehicles. FREE 12Ft. x 24Ft. COVERED SLIP at the State Park Marina included with your stay! Fishermen there is an electric hook-up in the Carport and a stainless steel fish cleaning station on the property. Peaceful surroundings after a great day boating, fishing or golfing with a beautiful sunset that sets over the length of our 8.5 Acre Pasture while you are grilling or enjoying a peaceful evening. There are three different areas to entertain. Adults can enjoy the outdoors under the wrap around porch/carport area, or watch TV on the main floor while the kids can wind down and enjoy TV or just hanging out downstairs in the basement.
