Traditional cottage/cabin styling with three decks, garden bistro, and year-round long range mountain views on a one acre parcel near all local amenities. Two bedroom with loft. Master on main with king bed; upper bedroom queen size. Loft with twin bed sleeper sofa, which adds additional sleeping accommodations for one more person.
- Great location! Just off 23/441, and less than 10 minutes to the new Ingles grocery store
- Ample parking... can handle a small RV if needed.
- Fully equipped kitchen (for the gourmet chefs out there!)
- Fire pit in the back yard.
- Propane fire table on side deck
- Central Heat and Air
- Gas log fireplace
- Free wifi, internet smart TVs in living room and bedrooms.

- No Pets allowed. ..... no exceptions please.

- Children are welcome.

This little house / cabin was absolutely beautiful! We felt welcome and right at home from the front door to the decks! The outside decks were amazing with wonderful views of the mountains, deer, and hummingbirds everywhere! The living room had the most comfortable couches and such a cozy feel. We loved the fireplace but did not need the added heat. The house was comfortably air conditioned and the bed in the master was so wonderful. The kitchen is a good size and truly has everything you might need. It was a perfect stay for me, my husband and our adult daughters. We were hard pressed to leave. If we travel in the area again, we will most definitely stay again. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Joe and Grace have the most amazing cozy, welcoming, inviting cottage you could ever want. although the cottage is small the feeling is big! The outside patio areas both on the main floor and the second floor are outstanding! Great views and landscaping is impeccable. they had an adorable waterfall by the front deck and hummingbirds were plentiful at the feeder. Kitchen is well stocked and easy to entertain. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and you feel like you’re at home. You will not go wrong renting this beautiful cottage. We cannot wait to come back next year!

Perfect Getaway

Cozy, comfortable, beautiful views, and stellar outdoor space. This home has it all. Coffee on either of the porches was tranquil—a great way to wake up! S’mores around the fire pit, catching fireflies, making friends with the toad that lives under the porch, and playing games on the lawn. Convenient to town and Great Smoky Mountain National Park (about 35 minutes). The perfect family getaway. We loved it!

Fabulous location for exploring WNC!

We thoroughly enjoyed the well-appointed home in Franklin. The pull-out sofa bed sleeps like a … pull-out sofa bed, so probably better for a youth/teenager than an adult. Otherwise, everything was terrific!! We loved the close proximity to local restaurants (wish there were more!), breweries, potters, boutiques, hiking, waterfalls, mountain views, fly fishing, and even high-quality community theatre just an hour away! The porches got a work-out as we sipped coffee and watched the birds and the living room is incredibly cozy for long conversations. We’d highly recommend a stay at Pine Tree Cabin!

There’s no place like home!

When you walk into this cottage you are at home! The furnishings provide a warm welcome. The view from the upper deck is so peaceful. The lower patio is well appointed. All furnishings inside and out are in wonderful order. Beds so comfortable. Bathrooms spotless! Kitchen had everything you needed! We cooked a couple of times and it is so easy to navigate around the kitchen. Air conditioning was top notch! Joe and Grace had everything perfect for our arrival. Thank you!!! Can’t wait to stay again!

Convenient location and comfortable

Spent 10 days in the very comfortable cabin which has very nice views. The location is close to Franklin and very easy to find. The landscaping is beautiful. The next door neighbor is close, but we never heard him or his dog. Would recommend providing 2 keys, but the key does not work in the front deadbolt. Would label all light switches as a couple were confusing. Disappointed that we could not get network TV shows, but did receive national news, CNN, CNBC, etc. Reactivating DISH would be good.

Very well kept property close to Franklin. Easy to get to with level parking and driveway. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in this home! The yard is awesome and the home is very well appointed with higher end furnishings & appliances. Everything worked with zero issues. We have stayed in about 15 other properties in the Franklin area and this is the best value for money.

This is your place

I travel for a living. I’ve stayed in 100’s of rentals in over 45 countries. I am fickle. This is a beautiful property in a nice quiet location. It had everything you will need. Bring your food and drinks and a Bluetooth speaker and you’ll not want to leave. The landscaping and lighting added to the overall awe as did the views. Great functionality and lots of little spaces for larger groups. The owners use this property and it shows with its intimacy. We loved our 3 day weekend. Thank you.

Mountain Bliss

This property is amazing. Conveniently located in Franklin. The house is so charming and comfortable, beautifully decorated and has everything you need! You have breathtaking views of the mountains from the porches. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely book again.

Almost Heaven

We loved our stay here. The landscaping was beautifully manicured, and the house was very clean and comfortable with wonderful, clean porches. There was a small snag with operating the TV, but friendly help was sent right away--on a Friday night!--to fix it. So I'd rate the service as top notch. Hope to return soon!

Cool respite

What a great way to spend a week away from the blast furnace of a hot summer. The 'cabin' is really a comfy two bedroom home which is well made and well appointed. Our favorite spot was on the 2d floor deck overlooking the distant mountains. The neighbors - though quiet - were a bit closer than we expected, and the place is not quite as isolated as we preferred, but still my wife and I would return.

Lovely updated and well kept cabin

Everything went as it should- we got in fine and everything was clean and ready for us. It’s a beautiful home and we so enjoyed sitting on the porch. We took some day trips to silva, highlands, Cherokee. And lunch at Dillard House was really great- it is actually very close even though it is in Georgia. We did some nice trails also. We never even had need to call the property manager. Excellent stay!!

Mountain Retreat

The cabin was amazing. There was plenty of room for my family of 4. The views from the decks were amazing. We had s'mores by the firepit and the kids chased fireflies at night. I would highly recommend this cabin and plan to return again.

Wonderful home

Our first visit to Franklin, NC was a huge success. The cabin was cozy, clean and fabulously equipped. I have stayed at many rented homes and none have had a full kitchen stocked with equipment and amenities as this one! The owner and property manager were very responsive and communicative which made our stay that much easier. We would definitely stay here again.

Great view

As advertised, this was a great place to stay. It was comfy and clean and cozy. We appreciated the little touches like night lights and blankets to snuggle in out on the deck where we spent so much time just taking in the view. We would definitely love to come back

We are from the Florida sun coast, but have always loved the mountains of NC... and have been vacationing in the Franklin and surrounding areas for many years. We are now retired and live here permanently, but spend our summer traveling.

This house sits on a gentle rise with a year round long range mountain view... especially from the upper deck!! The air is cool, and we get a good breeze often from this point. And despite being close to the neighboring home, it is separated by a cypress tree line; giving a private feeling.
