Berkshire Village Carriage House - Super Private!!

Private, unique getaway in the center of the Berkshires. We're a 3 minute walk to the Ashuwillticock rail trail. Situated on over 100 wooded acres with lots of walking trails, extraordinary trees, land forms and private seating areas and spaces to explore.

The cottage is a newly built. Super comfortable space above a stand alone 3 car garage. We have a private entry driveway and parking area exclusive to the cottage. Open floor plan with fun window seats, full kitchen and living room and full bath. It's a unique thoughtful design.

Radiant floor heat in the winter, central A.C. in the summer.

What an awesome place to relax or take great hikes around the paths in this beautiful wooded property. The host was outstanding and anything we needed was available asap. Definitely would go back again!

We were looking for a private, quiet, one bedroom cottage that was close to Tanglewood and this property was perfect. It was clean, updated, with cool little window seats to read from. The surrounding forest and gardens were lovely. Next time we will stay longer!

We stayed overnight to attend a concert at Tanglewood so weren’t guests long. The apartment was clean, well accessorized and communication with the owner was responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the rustic theme and location is close enough to everything the short term guest needs.

Comfortable accommodation on a very pretty, wooded property. Just outside Pittsfield. Quiet. Easy to get to my Berkshire activities from Stockbridge all the way up to Williamstown. Loved mornings with my tea on the windowseat.

Loved the window seats looking out into the trees! The property is actually not far from commerce— basically right next to a Target, but from the property it does not feel like it— the space is surrounded by trees. The bed is kind of in an alcove so might be hard to get in/out if you have mobility concerns, but I found it super cozy/comfortable. Enjoyed our time here after seeing a show at Tanglewood.

Sweet, spotless accomodation, very well- maintained. Loved the window seats and walks through the expansive property. We did not meet or communicate much with our host, but everything worked as described. We would definitely recommend.

What an ideal place to make home base for an extended weekend in the Berkshires with activities. Place is a gem in the woods but accessible to everything.
