The perfect waterfront vacation spot. Whether it's a quiet vacation or one filled with visits to areas in the UP this is the perfect base. A quiet home just up the road from the Soo locks and within an hours drive of the Mackinac Ferry with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We enjoyed a relaxing week mixing downtime with seeing the area.

It was a quick stay while passing through, but we really enjoyed our time here. We were two unrelated couples, and found the house comfortable and well-appointed for our needs. It was quiet and peaceful, and we absolutely loved watching the boats from the back patio- over cocktails in the evening and coffee in the morning.We would happily stay again if back in the area!

The view was beautiful and very peaceful and relaxing. The problem with the backyard was everywhere you stepped was geese poop.

The house is on the St Marys' River. The house is clean and comfortable. The bathroom and towels were very clean and well organised. The beds were comfortable. There is a recliner in the living room but it didn't go up but still comfortable. The Living room had a big TV to watch the baseball game on,t he couch is a sectional and it is clean. Carpet looked like it was new. The back yard has a table and chairs which were comfortable to watch the ships go by. We felt very safe. The house is just down the road from the Soo locks. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this houe to others. We drove over to Paradise and the colors were stunning.

This property was very nice. The view was great. We were able to watch barges pass in front of us. It’s location was were convenient to all the activities/sights in Sault Saint Marie.

The view from the house is spectacular! Great phot spot and boat watching. House was clean and comfortable, private. Host communication and instructions were easy and clear.

Perfect location for a little getaway. Great view, rite out the window, of the river and boats. Liked the clean, cozy feel of the house. Location was good, centrally and closely located to the locks, casinos, and resturants. Host was great on communication.

Our experience was excellent, easy communication with the host. The home is a warm inviting place with everything we needed. We stayed for a Robotics competition at LSSU. The home was a few miles away, good location. We would like to come back and stay here again.

The house was absolutely perfect for our little wedding getaway. It was spotless when we arrived and fully stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay so comfortable and stress-free. The view was truly beautiful and added such a special touch to the whole experience. It felt cozy, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for during such an important time. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate!

Darlene was very responsive answering messages starting with making my reservation until after our stay. She also helpful with a special request once we left to head home. The living room furniture was extremely comfortable, king bed was also comfortable (only used the master bedroom). If you are a pillow snob, take your own pillows. Great place to watch the ship traffic and wild life in the area from the patio or the live room window. It was a cool weather weekend so we did not need any air conditioning, which is only a small unit in the kitchen window. Kitchen supplied nicely, with a drip coffee pot.
