Welcome to our wonderful mountain home!

Sitting on the deck, you will look out over an expansive valley with a breathtaking view of the Mummy Range in the Rocky Mountains of Northern Colorado! Relish in the peaceful sounds of nature among the rock outcroppings just outside your back door. Enjoy hiking the numerous meandering trails, kayaking the private lakes and biking the many miles of paths; all while viewing the abundant wildlife around you. This is an amazing getaway you'll always remember!

With a master bedroom loft complete with a designer bathroom revealing full mountain views and two tastefully decorated bedrooms, this mountain home very comfortably sleeps 7 adults. Plus, a pack 'n play is available for little ones. A full main-level bathroom - featuring pine forest views from the shower - and an additional three-quarter bath will more than accommodate your needs.

To satisfy your culinary desires, this mountain home has a nothing-overlooked, well-appointed kitchen complete with a Silver Series Weber gas grill on the deck... for sizzling that perfect ribeye.

When taking a break from the myriad outdoor activities, you can relax on the Sunsetter® awning shaded deck or settle into the leather-upholstered great room boasting full A-frame window views of the Rocky Mountains. If games are your thing, hang out in the game room and play billiards or just chill and watch a Netflix movie - projected life size with surround sound.

If you are looking to find a little more action, delightful Old Town Ft. Collins is an easy 35 minute drive down the mountain where you can find world-class shopping, enjoy a multitude of restaurants, taverns, theaters and music halls, white water raft the Cache La Poudre River or catch a sporting event at Colorado State University. To the west, Red Feather Lakes Village is a picturesque 15 minute drive further into the mountains featuring more lakes, hiking, sledding, mountain biking, fishing, groceries and a few cozy restaurants.

Winter Wonderland!

This property was great! It was well stocked with everything we needed and it was the perfect getaway for our group! We were able to relax, play games, cook, and enjoy the views!

Best vacation ever

Amazing views, quiet,relaxing,everything we wanted. We really enjoyed our time there! Anyone looking to destress this is the place for you. It really is a little slice of heaven. Even snowed a little and we built a fire in the potbelly stove and just relaxed! It was great! Thanks!

Mountain Home with Amazing Views! Just Incredible!

We had such a memorable get away at the cabin and the host was so thoughtful. The cabin was very nicely decorated and had everything there that we could possibly have needed. The views were beautiful and the big screen projector and pool table was amazing. It was so nice to spend quality time with out family and everyone had a really nice time and loved being there. Thank you so very much!!

Family get away

It was a great time the entire family enjoyed the stay. Beautiful views!! We took advantage of the beautiful views and snapped a few family photos. Everything was perfect and I would definitely stay again! Just a suggestion add a TV upstairs, would of loved to watch the news or a great movie from the picture perfect living room upstairs

Soul rejuvenation

We have stayed here three times. It is one of the most beautiful places especially if you are looking to “unplug.” We hiked and did some fishing. We went to Fort Collins for a day. We played lots of games and pool. Absolutely lovely! Karen is always so wonderful to deal with too!!

Spectacular views & welcoming home.

Our family enjoyed the beautiful views, the open concept kitchen, dining & family room. Plenty of extra space for the kids in the large game room when they weren’t outside playing on the rocks, or hiking with us. Great location not far from Fort Collins and Red Feather Lakes. Everyone wanted to stay a month.

Christian Brothers reunion

Myself, my father and brothers all live in different areas of the country. With a family memorial service being held just down the road, all of us were able to stay together, and stay close. The house was clean, comfortable and welcoming. We weren’t able to use most of the amenities this time, But the view every morning was exceptional!

Amazing property with spectacular views. Hostess was attentive to emails and her property is well supplied with activities to do while staying in the home and recreational activities in the area. The home is very clean and well supplied with items for your stay. A nice upgrade would be better WiFi service since it was spotty but that might be difficult in the Rockies! Possibly adding air conditioning by a mini split in bedrooms would help the allergy sufferers. All that said I highly recommend the property and would return to it again! We had a fabulous week!!!

Peaceful

We make an annual trip to Fort Collins and it’s just gotten busier and louder every year. This was a great retreat from the noise! Peaceful, beautifully appointed and well worth the the trip Into the mountains. The views are amazing!

Amazing!

We wanted a relaxing family vacation in the mountains and that it exactly what we received. The view was amazing. The property was just what we imagined from the pictures. It was very clean and quiet. It was great to have suggestions of things to do and see in the neighborhood available.

Moving son out of CSU Dorm

We were in CO to move our son out of his dorm at CSU in Fort Collins, and wanted to stay for a couple extra nights in the area. The cabin was perfect for our group of six. We hiked the trails within walking distance of the cabin, and also drove to the Red Feather Lakes area and walked the trail around Dowdy Lake. (We spent our 1st day in the oldtown area of Fort Collins and picked up groceries there as well.) The views were beautiful, beds were comfortable, kids had fun exploring and everything we needed was there! Great little mini-vacation!

Beautiful cabin with amazing views and the most gracious host!

We have stayed with Karen 3 times now. We love this cabin. It is secluded with gorgeous mountain views. It comfortably sleeps at least 5 people. It has a fun game room with a projector screen and pool table that my adult children love! We love the wood burning stove in the evenings. Very comfortable furnishings to enjoy. Karen the host went above and beyond on this last stay we just had. We were snowed in and I was concerned about not having enough food or medical supplies for my daughter who has a chronic illness. She communicated with me all day the 2 days we were snowed in, and worked with her HOA to be sure we were well informed. The 2nd day we were snowed in, she offered to drive food and supplies to us as far as she could to get us what we needed. She is just the most caring and attentive host you will ever come across on VRBO. We wouldn't stay anywhere else for a quiet mountain get away other then at her beautiful cabin.

Perfect

This property exceeded our expectations. Location is excellent. We enjoyed the local trails during our stay. Easy drive to several trail heads within the Red Feather Lakes area. The house is super clean and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Pool table was great. Pot belly stove super cozy. The extras provided (snow shoes, walking poles, etc) were much appreciated. I wish every VRBO was like this one!!!

Great place for relaxing, studying and inspiration

Great getaway for me to do work study and work on some of my music. I also really enjoyed doing some trail running on nearby trails in the community. Can't beat the views from the cabin! Very cozy and functional home as well. Host was super friendly.

Great views lots of fun

There is a lot of good thing about this property and a few not so good for us. This is a verry nice property beautiful views ,in the game room there is a projector for movies and pool table for fun nights . Karen has just about everything you need there . fishing poles, kayaks and bikes. Plenty of pots and pans and dishes. Even a washer and dryer. WIFI can be a little slow but that should be expected and the WIFI calling for your phone worked just fine. This is a great location to the Red Feather lakes area. Lots to do. The parts that were not so good for us, no AC or swap cooler. There are fans in every room and a ceiling fan but it gets hot even with the doors and windows open during the day. At night it does cool down. There are no window covering to block the beautiful views and we understand that but when your hot from the day and the sun is shing in, there is no way to escape it. The only cool place is down stairs in the game room if you are hot. No privacy for some. The back to rooms have an opening at the top between them no way to block out snoring if you back there and the master is in a loft just above the main living room. Our family is a little loud at times when we are having fun. This is fine for some family's but for us we are all adults so sleep was a little ruff. We still had a great time and had lots of fun. Home Away From Home

Had all comforts of home and amenities to make our stay very comfortable, fun and relaxing. Beautiful views including deer that showed up right outside dining & kitchen windows. Highly recommend staying here if coming to Red Feather Lakes area.
