We have a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove/oven, microwave, coffee makers, toaster, blender, pots, pans, dishes, crock pot, electric fry pan and all utensils.

Great stay at this cozy cabin in Mercer, WI! Beautiful lake location — peaceful, yet close to town. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our UTV trip. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We'd definitely come back!

Really nice and relaxing. The hosts were very responsive and the cabin was stocked with just about everything you would need. We would definitely come back. The only (slight) drawback was the small area for our dog to swim, but we still had a great time. Thank you!

What a great beautiful place to stay. Dawn and Mitch were just so awesome, great at communicating and so nice! This house is so cute and they have everything you need even including little bathroom items you may have forgotten at home! We are going back in a couple of months and we cannot wait!

Awesome property

Excellent communication from start to finish, the property was exactly as described, clean, and well-taken care of highly recommended with plenty of room for families. We were very happy with the stay, many lakes to fish close by, trails to hike and ride, and if you like pizza check out Home Slice Pizza you won't be disappointed.

The Cabin was great. It was stocked with everything we needed it was cute and clean. Lake is beautiful and peaceful, we enjoyed the fact you allow guests to use your paddleboat, kayaks etc.we saw a deer walk through the yard every morning while we enjoyed our coffee. We came to go wheeling and the location couldn't be better. Trail is directly across the road so it was very easy to access. Town was also close only takes a couple minutes to get to via the trail or road. We'll be back! Thanks!

This was a nice stay for our family in Mercer. Cute cottage and the view of lake is pretty. We especially liked the DVD and VHS collections.

A Great Cabin in Mercer

Stonewall Cabin West in Mercer was an excellent location to stage our supper club tour in No. WI! The location was easy to find, amenities provided were more than adequate, and the cabin was clean. The location on Portage Lake would make an ideal place for summer water activities. We found the cabin and town very accommodating and pleasant (when stores were open - realizing we visited during off-season). Our host was readily accessible for any questions that came up (but we didn't have any issues). We had a terrific stay and would definitely book again if in the area.

Nice hidden one stop shop

My family liked that you could swim, fish, boat, play in the sand box, jump on the four wheeler trail and have a bon fire all in one spot. The owners were excellent making sure we had everything we needed. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a true up-north experience. Would recommend this gem to a small family. We will probably stay here again.

EVERYTHING AND MORE!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The lake and all of the amenities were perfect! It was a quiet and peaceful long weekend and we were able to kayak (lake and river), bike, ATV, and hike - all a short distance from the cabin (15-20 min). So much to do! Owner communicated all info clearly. We would be happy to return to this cozy cottage up north.

If I could rate this beautiful property higher, I would. Very clean and so many extras to make our stay comfortable. The owners thought of everything and their grounds were spotless and beautiful with lovely lakeside. Loons, eagles, fishing, campfire, kayaks, canoe, paddleboard, row boat, beautiful flowers and 1/4th mile from public beach, tennis courts and ball field. Close to town but not too close. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Great Memories

We had a wonderful time staying here over the new year for snowmobiling! Getting on the trails was quick and easy, and the property owners are so nice. I sent one message asking if we had the wrong wifi password and immediately was responded to by text message and someone physically came over and checked in with us to make sure we figured it out. The cabin was amazing and more than we hoped for! Made great memories riding with our kids and then relaxing around the warm fireplace and playing games!

Quintessential Wisconsin Cabin

Stayed at this charming, cozy cabin for three days. It's a great location right on the lake and close to downtown and many other attractions withing driving distance. Various water crafts are available for your use. We took the canoe out a couple of times and kayaked on one gorgeous morning. My husband tried his hand at fishing but didn't have much luck. The cabin itself is fully stocked with every imaginable item you might need. The owner was extremely prompt in communicating with us and the check-in process was a breeze. We enjoyed the loons singing and diving and even had a deer run across the backyard while having my morning coffee. It was very peaceful and quiet there, which was just what we were looking for. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We are the Marks Family! After years of looking for a family lake home in the Northwoods, we found Mercer to be the perfect place for family fun, relaxing, fishing, 4 wheeling and snowmobiling. We are close to modern amenities such as a grocery store, a library and great bars and restaurants. Yet, we are secluded in pines on the edge of town. After 10 years of enjoying our lake home, we had the opportunity to purchase our neighbor’s property (Stonewall Hideaway) for our family, friends, and guests to enjoy too. We became grandparents this last year and are fortunate to split our time between Mercer and the Madison area. We hope that you enjoy the cabin at Stonewall Hideaway as much as we do!
