Enjoy this Family Friendly, 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Beach Cottage with a New Kitchen, outdoor shower, and Wrap-Around Screened in Porch with fans. Our kitchen feels like you are right at home with all the cookware, pots, pans, crockpot, blender, and spices. Includes Washer/Dryer/Iron/Hair Dryer/Keurig, and Coffee Maker. This updated Ranch Sleeps 7 and is only a 15 minute walk to the beach, Golf, Restaurants. Backs up to the Intra-Coastal Waterway Public Boat Launch. Only 10 minutes to Southport Ferry to Bald Head Island. Enjoy the quiet beach, fishing on the dock at the boat launch around the corner. Oak Island Golf Club is just a few miles down Oak Island Way or just relax on the screened porch. Fenced in Yard & Outdoor Shower. Maker/Pillows/Bedding except you'll You will NEED SHEETS King (1) Queen (2), twin (1), plus beach towels. Let us know if you are enjoying a special celebration so we can welcome you. We really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen was wonderful and fully stocked with everything needed. Beds were very comfortable. We thought it was so sweet that they had toys there for the kids. We loved the screen in porch and it was only a 5 minute drive to the beach, restaurants and shops. The house is Right beside the boat ramp which was perfect for our family. The host was very quick to respond with any questions. Great place, would definitely recommend and are hoping to come back next year! This was by far one my favorite houses I’ve stayed in.

Great property!! House as advertised. Great house for a family beach trip! Close to everything you need and on a nice quiet street. My toddler loved the kid toys and we appreciated the beach gear we used while there. Host has great communication and place was clean and tidy upon arrival. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Jen is the fairy godmother of VRBO hosts! You can tell she has really thought about what guests actually need. This house was perfect for our family.Our teens loved having their own space to hang out, whether it was in the living room or out on the screened-in porch while the adults relaxed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the grill was a nice bonus.The bikes, beach chairs, beach toys, and outdoor shower were all things we really appreciated. The house was exactly as described, very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Jen was easy to communicate with and made everything simple from start to finish.We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would love to come back.

Jen and Ken were fantastic to communicate with - prompt and kind. The house was adorable, and in a great little community. We thought it would be a shorter walk to the beach, but really, it was best to drive. It was a very quick drive to the beach, only taking a few minutes. We were a bit disappointed that you had to pay for parking, 5 per hour, or 20 for an entire day, as we've stayed along the coast of NC quite a few times and typically found free parking right at the dunes or would have a parking pass provided by the owners of homes. A parking pass would be fantastic, if that would be something that the owners could obtain. We loved Ruby's coffee and breakfast cafe just a few minutes down the street at the Oak Island Fishing Pier! The beaches weren't crowded at all, which is fantastic. Water was about 82 degrees when we ventured into it during the week, very warm. The house is very close to grocery stores and shops. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. We had a great time, and really were happy with the price for the entire week, having an entire home to ourselves. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay, enjoyed the screend in porch, both morning and evening. Kitchen was everything you need.Both washer and dryer , very handy , clean, quiet, there was plenty of space for all 4 adults.Everything was so convenient, course the weather was great and the ocean was gorgeous, well needed vaca.

Great house

My family and I loved our stay. The house is in a great, quiet location. Plenty of room for 6 of us. The screened in porch is perfect to enjoy in the evenings. I'm certain we'll be back again.

We loved our stay here. The kitchen was wonderful and fully stocked with everything needed. Beds were very comfortable. We loved the screen in porch and it was only a 5 minute drive to the beach and shops. Parking is available at the beach for 5 an hour. The host was very quick to respond with any questions. Great place, would definitely recommend and are hoping to come back next year!

Beautiful home with amazing wraparound porch

A wonderful place to come and relax. Even though we didn't have the best weather the screened in porch let us be outside without getting rained on.

Fourth get away

The house is just as listed very nice and a great place to stay had everything you need in the kitchen loved the open concept with the kitchen dining and living room space we will definitely be back thank you to Jen and Ken you have a wonderful place

Cute and Cozy

We stayed here for our annual beach trip. House was close to everything in OKI and the beach! Kitchen was well equipped for our week long stay. We enjoyed sitting on the porch for dinner and games at night. Owners were very accommodating and quick to respond when we needed help! Would stay here again!!

Memorial Week Vacay

First Time I’ve used VRBO, but I was not disappointed! The home was as listed, very modern and clean. Perfect location with quick access to the beach & sound. Owners were GREAT to work with and quick to respond. WE WILL BE BACk AGAIN! Thanks Jen!

Relaxing beach getaway

W have had such a wonderful experience. The hosts were easy to communicate with both before and during our trip. It's a beautiful home, very clean and is just as advertised on the site. It has a huge wraparound porch where we spent a lot of our time and the outdoor fans kept it comfortable even in the heat. Our first time using vrbo and we are very happy we did.

Relaxing Vacation

The weather could have been a little better,due to the hurricane, however we made the best of it and overall a great vacation. Jen was great and answered any questions right away. She even offered and extra day for us to stay due to the weather.GREAT HOST!!!!

Great Vacay Property

This house was the most equipped house w have ever rented. Loys of kitchen gadgets. The pouch was amazing, adding a lot more living space. Very close to beach access, restaurants and shopping. Working with the property owners were great and they were very caring! This is a five star rental!

Cute and comfortable house

We stayed at this house on a weekend our friend was getting married. Great, safe feeling neighborhood. Great location. Close to grocery store. Great response from owners. We liked the separation of the bedrooms and the kitchen was well stocked. We would stay there again. Thanks Jen and Ken!

My stay

The community is very nice, and the house was very nice. But I will say there were no sheets on the beds and I was never notified to bring my own. They try to charge 35 for you to use their sheets they have in the closets.

Thanks for the feedback. We tried asking families to bring sheets so it allowed for an earlier check-in time and reduced their fees & price you were charged for your stay. It was in the description and messages. We also allowed 6 young adults to rent without an ID & not a lot of rentals will do that. If you are leaving a review it would have been nice if you mentioned that you used the sheets left in the home and didn’t get charged for them. Oak island is a great place to visit & I hope you have better luck next time.

We love the warm & friendly atmosphere of Oak Island and enjoy spending time at the beach and eating at our favorite beach places like Pirates Deck, Pepperoni Grill, Lazy Turtle, and Oak Island Restaurant. After a fun day at the beach, we love the outdoor shower in the fenced-in back yard. Then we retreat to our screened in porch and listen to music by candlelight. We hope your family enjoys their ISLAND TIME here as much as we do.

If you are looking for a quiet get-away with family & friends, Oak Island is the beach for you! Just a 10 minute drive to Southport, Holden Beach, & the Ferry to Bald Head Island. Check out Wilmington for additional activities if you want some excursions as well.

Walk to the pier behind the home to watch the sunset or drive down the end of island (the pointe) to look at all the pretty beach homes. Take a day trip to the aquarium or make your way over to Southport where several movies were filmed and enjoy dinner on the pier at Fishy Fishy. Make yourself at home during your vacation get-away!
