This was a fantastic family and friends vacation! The home was a perfect fit for the three teenage girls and four adults. Diane, the host, was a wealth of information providing us with activities, schedules, and ideas. We would absolutely stay here again!!!

This was our first time at Emerald Isle and the property was perfect. I highly recommend staying here. Diane is a wonderful host and was very communicative before and during our stay when needed. We loved how close all the stores are. It’s a quick walk to the beach. We ate at Gaffer’s one night and got pizza from Lazzara’s another night and both were great. I have 3 young kids and they were welcomed everywhere we went. We loved our stay and hope to return soon!

We enjoyed our first trip to Emerald Isle. Diane was a great host. The duplex house was in a quiet cul de sac and homey with ocean views. The deck was covered and a nice spot to have morning coffee or to sit after a day on the beach. The beach wasn’t a far walk and the wagon helped taking the provided chairs to the beach. The beach location wasn't crowded as it was a neighborhood beach and not public access. The house was within walking distance to few places to eat, get slushes and ice. Great location and near food stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

Diane was awesome- great communication, clean stay, and close to the beach. The beach was wonderful! The house was easy to access and fully stocked w anything we may have needed. We loved our stay!!

Great Vacation!

The house we stayed at was wonderfully maintained and very quick walk to the beach. Our host was wonderful to work with and always very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle!

Great Place for Families

The house was as described and the owner communicated well. Beach access was a few houses down and there were plenty of options for food nearby.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The views were great from the decks. The property was clean and well stocked and it was only a short walk to the beach.

Great location and layout!

We spent a long weekend in Emerald Isle, and would definitely stay here again. Good communication, good layout, best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen. Close to the beach but also very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Definitely recommend!

Great property, close to the ocean and stocked as you'd expect.

My whole family enjoyed our 4 night stay at this property. It was close to the beach, had great views, convenient to grocery stores and restaurants and clean as expected. Wouldn't hesitate to go back and will be in contact with Diane in the future.

Wonderful Stay

The home is cheery and clean. It is located on a quiet street with views of the ocean, an easy walk to the beach and only a minute drive to the new Publix. We appreciated having the linens provided as well as a good assortment of beach supplies and basic kitchen needs. A wonderful place to stay on lovely Emerald Isle!

The host is super responsive and they are very thorough with making sure you have information on the house & the area which was helpful for our first time in EI. The house was a little snug for our family of 8 (2 in their 60’s, 4 in our late 30’s, and 2 kids 6 and 9). The sofa and loveseat have a slipcover and cushion covers that made it hard to keep the cushions in place. The armrests are missing their padding and overall needs to be replaced. There’s not a lot of storage - the closets were mostly filled with baby items or items for the house (vacuum, crib, accessible shower items, highchair, etc) and we gave up on trying to find a full length mirror. There’s very limited space in the cabinets for your food because of the unorganized way stuff is stored. The view is gorgeous from the balconies and it’s not a long walk to the beach but the hill the house sits on top of can be difficult lugging stuff up & down.

Glad you enjoyed the lovely views and your vacation. We let our interior decorator know about organizing the baby items in a better way finding a full length mirror and also fluffing the cushions for the future. She was in tears but should be back on the job soon. Happy vacationing!

Family Weekend Success

Great communication from the host Diane and we felt prepared and comfortable for our long weekend stay. It was great to have all the beach supply's there, as traveling with kids, we have plenty of other things to bring. The baby gates were also a great thing we didn't know we needed! Walk to the beach was perfect and the whole family had a blast.

Location!

Perfect location with easy beach access and beautiful views. Loved that it was stocked w so many beach essentials so we didn’t have to pack them! Communication with host was outstanding!

Great Rental/Awesome Location

We came for a family reunion. Great location. Close to shops and restaurants. Short walk to the beach. They had beach chairs/buckets/wagon/small cooler for us. That was so nice to be able to bring to the beach. We all loved the boogie boards. Lots of fun and would come back again.

Perfect family getaway

Steps from the beach and loaded with all your beach necessities, this home was perfect for our family beach getaway. With four bedrooms and three baths, each of us had plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked and the location was hard to beat. Diane was available for answering questions but the property was well equipped with its own instruction manual that provided all the answers we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

A real gem

Dianne is easily the best host I’ve ever rented from. The house was very comfortable for our family (ages 2-63). The location was quiet while also being very close to the beach, attractions and food/groceries. My father immediately asked for the property ID to rent again.

Enjoyable Family Time

Our immediate family stayed here while attending our family reunion in Swansboro. Thoroughly enjoyed the house. Perfect for our family of 5 adults and two children. The house was supplied with everything that was needed and even items we didn’t think of (ie. baby gates for the stairs). Quiet, private,(partial )view of the ocean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thank you!

Our stay was fantastic. The house itself is very clean and functional, with great proximity to the beach. The three bedrooms upstairs allowed our kids to have some freedom while we slept downstairs. The beds were very comfortable. The cul-de-sac preserves quiet. The walk to the beach is minimal. The beach is beautiful in July. One of our favorite beaches we have been to along the east coast. Water is clean and warm. The area is lively enough but not erratically so. The host was kind and helpful but not intrusive. Overall, a great location for a family beach trip. We will definitely like to come back.

Clean and has everything you need!

This was our family’s second time staying here. We absolutely love it! It’s clean and has everything you need! We love not having to bring our own linens. Toilet paper, paper towels, liquid soap, beach chairs, boogie boards, laundry detergent, dish detergent is all provided. The hose and outdoor shower is very handy for washing off all the sand! The beach is just a short walk down. Will definitely be back next year for our family’s annual vacation 🏖️

Gorgeous property in a perfect location

I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Emerald Isle house! I visited with my mother and my two children (ages 13 and 14) and we had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The location is perfect - close to the beach but also to shopping & other fun activities. The beach is stunning and we loved swimming and boogie boarding with all of the supplies provided (a generous assortment of well-cared for beach gear). The house itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. And, our host was so welcoming and helpful during our stay. I've stayed at many rental properties and can say that this was one of the nicest and most comfortable. I hope that we'll be able to return sometime!
