Holiday Hill Resort "The Treehouse" Unit 722

This is a very cozy "Treehouse" we affectionately refer to as "The Shack in the Back," or "Crew's Quarters." The bedroom is two steps off the mini kitchenette.

Built on stilts over the sand dune you will wake up to morning sun dappling through the trees. It's on the back side of the property so you can enjoy a quiet cup of coffee and likely see some visiting deer. Although very small, it's more than enough for a romantic getaway with a small kitchenette to prepare dinner for two.

Family owned and operated with an amazing staff. Spotless room and the greatest location overlooking Downtown Saugatuck. Stayed in the Tree House which great for two. Extremely private location with easy access to the private pool below. Highly recommend this spot for a getaway weekend!

Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The property was very well maintained and the grounds and pool were beautiful. The staff were very friendly. The bed was comfy and the beachy decor was adorable. The description says this property is not handicap accessible, and they are not kidding. We had to hike up a very steep driveway or an equally steep grassy hill and several flights of stairs carrying all our bags and a heavy cooler to get to our room. I was surprised there was not a better method of helping guests get their belongings up that massive hill. Parking was also a challenge, as most of the spots were full and parking at the top of the very steep driveway was limited and very difficult to get in and out of. The crew quarters, or treehouse, where we stayed had a very strong musty smell in the bedroom area, although the room was otherwise very clean. We booked last minute at the height of the busy Summer tourist season, so we were greatful to book anywhere at all, and we did enjoy our stay. I would be aware of the logistical challenges of this property before booking, but if you don't mind a bit of a climb and some adventure parking, it was a great location across from the chain ferry and a short drive to the beach.

What a cute spot to stay! We enjoyed that The Treehouse was tucked into the back of the property which gives you some privacy. The space in small, but has everything two people might need. My husband and I stayed for our anniversary in mid September. We enjoyed dinner and shopping in Saugatuck, watching the boats go by and walking around the neighborhoods by Holiday Hill. What a great location and great place to stay!

Little getaway

The lil ‘crew quarters’ was perfect for 2. I loved the privacy of being in the back. We loved seeing the deer visit and our own pool.

Beautiful views

The owner/staff were always making sure you were enjoying your stay & very friendly. The property was maintained beautifully & wonderful views of the river! Close to everything. Only downside is the stairs, but you get great views in return!

Stay was fantastic! A lot of uphill-ing since it’s at the top of a dune but after eating all the excellent food Saugatuck offers, we needed to exercise!! Would go back for sure

A tiny place to stay but very accommodating.

Although small in size, the house was comfortable and very well organized. The swimming pool and surrounding property were lovely and very well maintained. We enjoyed using the shared patio area that overlooked the river. All of the boat action was very entertaining.

Perfect location

A cozy little home up in the hills. A perfect getaway spot with my wife. Morning coffee overlooking the boats on the Kalamazoo river, hiking the nature path on Mount Baldhead and watching the sunset over Lake Michigan at Oval Beach. Just a few of the close by activities you can experience staying here.
