Family vacation

Very impressive house, clean and beautiful perfect location and even better host and property manager. They gave us a vacation we will always remember and we highly recommend booking this home if you ever travel to Costa Rica

Ocean front relaxation

This property had everything we were looking for. If you are looking for more private low key beach front location, this is the place for you. Also great for surfing! Jaco is very close and a good place to visit to do some shopping.

AMAZING! 🌴

This was an amazing home! We found everything we needed. The yard was beautiful and the pool was so relaxing. The location is perfect! The beach is directly across the road and the house is close enough to take an inexpensive Uber into Jaco. We saw macaws several days, either in the trees across the road or a tree in the next yard. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location

I have never been on a beach that has been so desolate. On Friday morning we went for a walk just after high tide, in the afternoon we went on another walk just before high tide and there was one set of footprints, ours, for one mile. The beach was almost always empty. House was extremely well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. The property manager did an excellent job. Would highly suggest staying here.

Perfect beachfront getaway

We loved our stay at Casa Tortuga. We’ve been to many beach rentals in the area and this is for sure one of our favourites. The house is clearly loved and cared for, with all comforts of home. Our toddler loved all the toys and we had so much fun in the pool and taking daily walks on the beach. The waters in Hermosa are rough but at low tide we could all get in and swim. It’s right beside hotel tramonto which has a nice restaurant and the empanada guy delivers delicious empanadas to the door. All rooms have AC and everything works perfectly. Askel was a great host and we will for sure come back again!

Best Vacation EVER!!

This was an amazing house-it had everything and more that we hoped for. The house was large with a great split floor plan. It had every kitchen appliance you could ever dream of! They have great wifi, and amazon firestick and apple TV, so there are a lot of entertainment options for the relaxing days/evenings. The beds and furniture is incredibly comfortable! The house is in a quiet area across the street from Hermosa beach. Every morning there were surfers to watch and in the afternoon most days we felt like we had the beach to ourselves-you can see the ocean from the bed in the Master bedroom! The pool was dreamy and we had macaws in the almond tree next door every day that the kids were amazed by! We got Pizza Pata from down the street and ordered delivery Argentinian empanada's another night. It's only 10 minutes to Jaco and we really liked being a bit out of town, but still close to everything! Every need was met and every question was answered-I now consider the owner a friend-Eilis is truly fantastic. We were only an hour to Manuel Antonio and drove one day to zip line in the Monteverde cloud park-we felt like the location was very central to the white water rafting, ziplining, arial bridges we hoped to see while we were in the country. You can stop looking-seriously this is the house you want!!!

Excellent place !

It was an excellent place to share moments with family: Safe, clean, location, communication with Eilis and Askel was very easy. Definitively a place to come back.
