Do you want to achieve maximum relaxation while creating lasting memories? This is your place. Situated at the quiet end of a cul de sac, this south facing property offers expansive water/beach front views. Watch the loons swim by, the eagles fly by, or the fish jump in the early morning sunrise while you sip coffee on the expansive deck. Swim out to one of the two docks during the day to cool off from many hours of sun exposure this property has. Cap off the day watching one of the most memorable sunsets in the world.
This cabin is 1000sq ft two bedroom two bathroom with full amenities (washer dryer as well) including a 500 sq ft deck with a lounge area and a propane fire table, hot tub, bbq, retractable awning, outdoor speakers and dining area. Off of the expansive deck is a sand covered area with a fire pit, picnic table and Muskoka chairs. Every deck has views you will not soon forget.

Maximum occupancy, including daytime guests is 6.
We are pet friendly, but do require an additional fee.

Forget to bring something? Take a short walk to the store. Take the kids as they have a great variety of ice cream scoops!

Plenty of parking and a large outdoor area for the kids to run around on. There is even a treehouse! Bring your bikes as there are quiet streets to play and explore on.

Relaxing

My wife, son I enjoyed a relaxing week at your property. We kayaked and paddle boarded during the day and sat by the fire table at night. The property has all of the amenities you could ask for. We cannot wait to return.

Shuswap Paradise

This is an amazing property situated in an ideal spot around the bend from Magna Bay. We spent the whole trip swimming in the shallow waters or sitting on the fabulous deck. Can't wait to return!

Absolutely Amazing Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Barbara is an amazing host, very attentive, and responded quickly to any questions we had. The cabin was fantastic and was exactly as stated; was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The front deck area with retractable awning and large umbrella gave us well-needed shade from the sun, and the fire pit and hot tub was enjoyed by all in the evenings. The dock and buoy were an added bonus. We highly recommend this property for a great getaway!!

Great stay!

This charming cabin is located in a very scenic place that let's you capture the surrounding beauty of the lake to it's full extent. The cabin had all we expected to find, and the convenience of the location is perfect. We were lucky, the lake was very warm and clear. Just couldn't get enough of it.

Relaxing and comfortable

We enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful sunsets. I think we experienced every type of weather. Windy, sunny, smoky and rain. It was all a good experience. Kitchen was well equipped except we could not find a can opener. Overall would love to go back.

Fabulous property and host

We loved our stay! The cabin had everything for an amazing, peaceful, relaxing week at the lake; and even things we didn’t know we needed (the air con was greatly appreciated !). The kayaks and SUP were also very much appreciated. The host was very proactive to ensure we were well set up. The property is on a lovely treed lot at the end of a very quiet road. Neighbours were friendly when we were out with our pup, who spent hours swimming in the lake. We spent most of the week on the large deck overlooking the lake. It is so beautiful. We would be back in a heartbeat.

Simply perfect

Everything about this experience was wonderful. The host provides very clear communication and is highly responsive. The home has amazing amenities including a wrap-around deck, recessed hot-tub and stunning views. The location could not be better – the beach is private, but a store is only a 5 minute walk up the road. Everyone we met, including the neighbors and caretaker, were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this property – we will be back!

Amazing family vacation

Barbara was a great host. Communication was prompt, check in was smooth . The cabin was clean ,beds compfy, the kitchen had everything you need. Even dog blankets, towels , toys were at our access. The beach was beautiful and big , we walked it every day either direction. The main star was the huge deck, the awning and top notch furniture . The hot tub was an even bigger bonus for the family as the weather was a little cooler . Thanks again Barbara

Beautiful location and cabin

We are so happy to spend a week in this clean, well stocked cottage. The location can not be beat: beautiful views, quiet and we loved having our own beach area and dock. Our teens loved the kayaks and paddle board and the views. If you are looking for peace, relaxation and some water fun then this is the place for you! The owner is a thoughtful host, we would love to return here if we are lucky enough to find an opening in her calendar! Thank you !

Shuswap Cottage

This property was awesome! Warm water and sunsets every night! Conveniently located. Clean and so well stocked. It had everything we needed and more. The host was great. Definitely will stay here again! 5 stars!

Stay here ,you'll Love it !!

This is the 2nd time we've rented this amazing property and it won't be the last!! We've rented many vacation properties over the years and this place is our favorite! The views are fantastic and how can you not love having an awesome lake right out your front door waiting for you to enjoy!! The cottage is very comfortable and very well equipped with all the comforts of home. The owner ,Barb, and the caretaker, Julie, are very helpful and easy to deal with should you have any questions. AMAZING!

I cannot say enough about this place! The location is so private and the view is 180 degrees of lake and beautiful mountains. The cabin has everything you need including a fully stocked kitchen. The deck! Beautiful! The massive awning and umbrella kept the deck shaded and the cabin cool. The gas fire pit on the deck was the perfect spot to stare at the lake with your coffee and watch the amazing sunsets with a glass of wine. The wood burning fire pit on the lower deck was so fun to sit around in the comfy Adirondack chairs. We even made S'mores (metal fire sticks provided)! The private beach, spattered with beautiful driftwood and the clear, calm and warm lake are amazing. We spent hours lounging, paddling and swimming. The bunk house is so cute and a great addition for extra guests. There's even a bar fridge on the deck for extra beverages. Scotch Creek Market is 20 mins away and has everything you need including it's own amazingly stocked liquor store. Barbara is an amazing host. So helpful and generous. A beautiful bottle of local wine, cold water, tea and chocolate were provided when we arrived. Such a nice touch. The cabin is dog friendly and the hosts even provide dog towels and dog sheets to cover cushions. Like I said, I can't say enough. I booked for next year before we even left! Thank you Barbara & Kirby, we made some great memories!

Wonderful place for a family vacation

The owner is amazing, friendly and very accommodating. The no contact check in and check out was super efficient. The property is beautiful, comfortable and cozy. We spend an amazing 10 days relaxing, fishing, hot tubbing and hiking. I highly recommend staying at this property.

Great location some owner communication issues

Fantastic lake location! Cabin advertised as 7 capacity, we got approval for 8 prior to booking. Week before arrival she wondered why there was more than the 5 people I had originally inquired for. If capacity is 7, there shouldn't have been a complaint for 7 of us but she approved 8 yet a series of concerns were thrown at us about having 8 at the last minute.. She once again approved for 8 people at that time. On check out owner said she was "shocked" we had too many people and 5 cars, as reported by her cleaners, which would be irrelevant, the capacity of cars should be the same as number of people. On arrival, a prior storm had broken away the dock ramp and this was a safety hazard. The owner reported this would be repaired for us. It was however only repaired on the 5th day of our 7 day stay. A storm on our 4th day broke off the dock cleats our boat was tied to which we report immediately, and promptly paid for and that's when the dock cleat and ramp got repaired at the same time. Day before departure owner emailed that we must vacuum the hot tub before we leave even though we paid a cleaning fee and with Covid concerns it was her cleaners duty to sanitize everything. With that in mind, we did not vacuum the hot tub and was promptly sent an aggressive email saying she was "shocked" we broke her vacuum, and as good renters we must pay for a brand new one. We did not touch her vacuum, nor break it and did not appreciate the aggressive email stating we are bad people if we don't pay for her obviously previously broken vacuum. The email day before departure stating we must vacuum the hot tub, later became questionable to us as a set up to have us use it, then attempt to get money from us for her previously broken item. The overall experience with the owner was not great. It's too bad, as the location is perfect, the cabin very cute with a gorgeous deck, quiet and friendly neighbors, but we would not stay here again.

Family Fun

What an incredible place! We booked this a year ago and were all very excited to get there - the cabin, the location, the amenities and the hosts did not disappoint at all! We had an fun filled family week and will definitely be booking again.

Amazing Property and experience

This is a stunning property! We were able to simply relax on the deck, or the hot tub and let the kids go in and out of the lake ... and in and out again! Close to a store if needed, hiking just down the way, boat rental the other way! It definitely is a great place ... I'd love to give this a lower review just so less people book it because we want to go again ... but of course I wouldn't do that. Great time!

Relaxing getaway, couldn't ask for more!

The location was amazing, lots of privacy on all sides. The deck was the main star of the rental, with plenty of seating and views of the lake from every corner. The hot tub was in the perfect spot to enjoy the sunsets. The kitchen was supplied with everything you could possibly need. It's difficult to find rentals that accept pets so we were very excited when we found this rental that came with "dog" towels and blankets!! All in all one of the best rentals we have done in the Shuswap.

Wonderful views and great space!

Our family of 4 have been coming to the Shuswap and renting cabins for several years. We travel with our 2 dogs as well, so finding properties is not always easy. This one is a gem. Dog friendly, lots of space for the teenagers, and our golden retriever spent almost her whole time in the lake while our pug lounged on the huge deck. The cold lake, lots of sunny spots (when sun was shining), hot tub, fire table, huge awning, and large umbrella allowed all of us the comforts we wanted. The kayaks were such a nice bonus and we took turn in pairs daily throughout the trip. My only concern with this property is that there is a boat launch adjacent to it. During the first part of our time there, the area was flooded, we of course did not know it until and then half way through when a bobcat arrived and dug out the area which made for a noisy morning but I guess that cannot be helped. That being said once the launching area was back in order, it was not as enjoyable given the large amount of traffic right beside the dock of boats, and jetskis continually being parked and picked up in the water. Perhaps, since it was flooded this made it busier during our time but I am not sure. Even with this disruption I would return to this property. Any questions or concerns we had Barb answered very quickly and was very helpful and accomodating, an absolute pleasure to work with.

Lovely Vacation Retreat !

"Tranquil" really does describe this fabulous property. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful spot and we were so pleased with all the thoughtful amenities provided by the owners. The cabin was very well equipped and the outdoor space had many enjoyable hangouts from the waterfront location to the fire pit, fire table, hot tub and outdoor dining area with retractable awning. Barb was a pleasure to deal with and very quick to respond. We all left a piece of our hearts there and would return again and again!
