Come visit the iconic house of the Shuswap! Come to Blind Bay and holiday in this beautiful spot! Short walk to the beach! This space has 2500 sq ft of spacious living with a panoramic view of the Shuswap lake! It’s has 3 good size bedrooms with queen beds and 2 pullout couches with memoy foam for a good night’s sleep! We also have 2 full bathrooms, with separate hot water tanks, along with a large common area! This is very private and spacious living accommodations that sleeps 10 comfortably! It has a fully contained kitchen, there is a bbq, shuffle board table with sauna and full laundry for your use only! Every window has a stunning view of the lake! It also has a large outdoor covered private patio with plenty of seating for large groups! This property is on a gorgeous lot with a fire pit and various fruit trees and lots of lawn to enjoy the great outdoors! All amenities plus boat launch, beach, golf and restaurants are just minutes drive away or a short walk! This property has everything you need to accommodate large groups for a great holiday stay!

Great property and fantastic view

We had a great time. This place has everything you need, fantastic view, hot tub and shuffle board. Our hosts were great and were available for any questions. Quiet, relaxing and 5 minutes to the beach, perfect.

Spacious house in Blind Bay

The place was clean, quiet and the pictures online were accurate. It was so nice and cool during very very hot weather which was awesome. The hosts were very kind and responsive. We enjoyed our time!

The Perfect Getaway

Just returned and couldn’t have asked for more! The space was large, the beds were super comfy, the air conditioning was perfect, and the hot tub and shuffleboard were bonus features and the view of the bay was spectacular!

Everything you want and then some

This property is amazing. It really does have everything that you need and then some. The view is amazing and the whole vibe of the place is so good. Perfect place for a trip with your friends or a stay with your family. You won’t regret checking it out!

Shuswap Golf Weekend

We had a great weekend and the accommodation was as described. We would all love to stay again as the suite had everything we could ask for and more. Hosts were extremely helpful at check in and were very available if there was anything we needed. Would highly recommend for a family or moderate sized group!

Blind Bay Beauty!!

Chris and Dan’s place was so lovely for our family’s Christmas getaway. The view was spectacular, the wood fire stove kept us warm, the place was spacious enough for all of us. Chris and Dan’s place was stocked with everything you need to get you started. And the hot tub was an added bonus after a long day. It was a perfect spot for a much-needed break.

Amazing Views

This property has incredible views from the spacious deck as well as from all of the bedrooms. There was plenty of outdoor space to play bocce and croquet. Everything is beautifully maintained and the owners made every effort to ensure we had everything we needed. Top marks.

We booked it for the view, which is really nice

The space for cooking was better than most and the view was awesome. One thing we did not realize when booking the place, is that there is no dining room table inside. When you are staying a full week, you don't want to be outside for every family meal. With owners being upstairs, we never fully felt like we were alone, like most vrbo home rentals. It worked, but it may be an issue for some. Super nice hosts though.

Great space with a wonderful view

6 of us (3 adults and 3 teens) stayed for four nights. The hosts, who live upstairs, were very accommodating and helpful - it’s such a large place we didn’t notice they were upstairs. The hot tub and sauna worked great, as did all appliances. Wifi was more than adequate for 6 people with devices. And the pictures do not do justice to the view. We will definitely come back.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

The view is outstanding! The patio doubled our living space and the accommodation held 6 adults and 2 children very comfortably. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities . . . shuffle board, sauna, hot tub, eating outside at the table and relaxing on the patio with yet another separate seating area. With 8 people, no one was in anybody's "space". We're definitely coming back. Thanks Chris and Dan.

Murison Smiths, June 29 to July 4

We have nothing but praise for this vacation rental, the location, and the hosts, who live upstairs. The downstairs unit is very spacious and well-equipped. Our family of two adults and two teens had plenty of space to spread out, with our own private rooms. The beds were very comfortable. Our hosts, Christine and Dan, were helpful and fun to meet. Shuswap lake is beautiful, clean, and swimmable in the summer. If you need to rent kayaks or paddleboards, Finz Resort, which is a couple of km away, has them at reasonable rates. Be sure to have a vehicle to transport them to a part of the lake you want to explore; otherwise, you're limited to going out of Blind Bay. Across from Finz, the Village Grocer has most of everything you need for self-catering at the property.

Ups and downs

Amazing views, clean. Smaller kitchen to accommodate 10 as advertised, the problem was A/c , since this is lower part of the house and A/c can only be controlled by owners upstairs, felt abit uncomfortable. Last 2 days AC didn't work at all. Also have never been charged so much extra for kids, be sure to check the price for all people.

Best view of copper island!

We had a very nice time here. The owners were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The rental is the basement suite of their home. The view is incredible (when there’s no smoke!) but it does have a basement feel - low ceilings, not a lot of light. The living room is very spacious, the bedrooms worked great size wise. The kitchen is very small, and with no windows it feels very enclosed. Functional however. There is a lovely rocked space beside the house that was perfect for morning coffee and happy hours. There is little to no lighting on the deck at night, which made it very difficult to play games in to the evening. The weather was lovely to sit out at night, so more lighting would be a very good addition. The patio furniture is uncomfortable and fairly rundown. Overall, if you’re ok with a basement suite, I would recommend this property. Have fun!

Gorgeous Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hosts were lovely. My hubby booked the home and I did not look it over carefully as to what it was. Initially we thought we had rented the entire home and was surprised to find out it was only the lower half (above grade walkout basement). It turned out to be just what we needed. Having board games on site would have been a plus (Yahtzee, Jenna, cards, farkle, etc…) Having the stand up room fans was a nice touch as it provides more cool air and white noise as it can get warm inside (coming in and out from the deck) and you have no access to the AC control. If you needed anything the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The views are extraordinary. Location fantastic. The fruit trees on property were amazing (apricot, plums, cherries, pear, apples). Thank you for letting us stay in your slice of heaven! Would definitely come again.

Exceeded All Expectations!

Amazing location with breathtaking views throughout! My wife and I along with aunt and uncle stayed here for 6 days at the beginning of September, and we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Large space, in and out, very clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Loved the wood fireplace inside! Having the hot tub right outside the front door was a plus every morning with coffee, or at night with wine. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. The location is 5 mins away from grocery, restaurants, marina, and beach. Also if you like to hike, there is amazing trails just 2 mins up the road. Hosts were amazing and extremely helpful with any questions we had. 5 out of 5. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Best view in Blind bay!

The stay here was perfect, there was 9 of us and it was very nice to have enough room for everyone to spread out on the covered deck and hang in the hot tub. Thanks Christine.

Amazing house in Blind Bay

We stayed here for a week in July and the house could not have been better for us. Very private with a great view of Shuswap Lake. The deck was incredible with a private hot tub that provided a great way to unwind after a busy day on the lake. Dan and Christine were great hosts! They provided a great overview of the property and surrounding area. Extra bonus was full access to pick cherries from the trees on the property!
