Secluded log cabin located in the Ozark National Forest. Comfortably sleeps up to 5 people. Well-stocked with linens, fully equipped kitchen, cookware, charcoal and grill, firewood, toilet paper, and bath soap/shampoo. Located in Newton County, home to Buffalo National River, numerous hiking trails, caves, and elk. Extras: Outdoor shower (available seasonally), fire pit, large deck, 2 porches, and washer/dryer. Only 1.5 hour drive to Branson, MO, Eureka Springs, AR, and trout fishing on the White River. Well-behaved pets welcome.

Easier to find then I thought it might be, felt nicely secluded (dirtroad to access) which I completely loved, beautiful views clean house very comfortable beds, set on back deck every morning with a cup of coffee would definitely do again, the host was very responsive only had couple of questions house was well stocked with needed items absolutely no complaints other than maybe having to leave

I would recommend this cabin to anyone thinking about staying here. The place is just as described and shown in the pictures. The host was also very communicative. The cabin was very clean and had everything needed (Internet, AC, nice bathroom/kitchen, and home comfort) for a great secluded stay in the forest with an excellent view of the surrounding and while also being not too far from town. The one issue I encountered were with wasps in the area as my trip was in early fall right when they are trying to find shelter inside for the winter. I let the host know about it so hopefully it should be taken care of soon.

This cabin was great for our family. Very secluded, yet not super far from the places we wanted to visit in the Upper Buffalo area. There is also a Dollar General only about 10 minutes away. Cynthia was very responsive and gave me tips on where to swim and see the elk at Boxley Valley. If you are interested in hiking at the Buffalo, I recommend Tim Ernst’s book “Buffalo River Hiking Trails.” It is very descriptive and was helpful for us in choosing hikes.Overall, this was a great visit and I’m very glad to have had the opportunity to stay at the cabin!!!

This cabin is the perfect spot for a getaway. The beds were good, kitchen is stocked with everything you need and the view is spectacular! It’s was a sweet and cozy place for spring weekend!

This is a wonderful, quiet, secluded cabin for exploring the Ozarks! Perfectly located to explore the area's waterfalls, and close enough to Jasper for grabbing dinner at the famous Ozark Cafe. Highly recommend!

The cabin was in a great spot on the ridge with a beautiful view off the back porch. It was clean, quiet, and hand plenty of space for our family and dog. It was also centrally located to a lot of the activities that did in the area.

Property was a perfect secluded spot with gorgeous views! House was clean and comfortable and well stocked with everything you could need. Host was quick to respond and help change dates of my trip due to weather. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, hope to be back in the future!

We had such a wonderful spring break stay at the cabin. Our whole family loved it—including our two Westies, who were just as happy as we were. The fireplace was incredibly easy to use and kept the space warm and cozy, which we really appreciated during those first couple of very cold days. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly the kind of relaxing getaway our family needed. We would absolutely come back again.

This was an amazing place! Wind was to bad for fire pit but that didn't stop the enjoyment. We saw a deer and turkey in the back yard. It's also stocked better than any place I've been. It had everything you could think of. My husband and I enjoyed the solitude. I'm definitely coming back one day! Thanks

Our cabin was clean cozy and perfect! Exactly as listed. We have 2 medium size dogs and with a baby gate we brought from home were able to stay safe on the enclosed deck. Loved the porch swing and firepit. Stocked with everything you will need. We will stay again! Thank you!

Everything from the amazing views to the well stocked cabin was incredible! It was just what we needed! The cabin was easily accessible by following the given directions and also had so much to offer when being outdoors.
