Family trip

We had a great stay at Vidanta. My husband and I brought our 4 kids and parents. Plenty of room for all 8 in the two bedroom suite. Lots of pools and fun for the kids. They particularly enjoyed the water park. We all enjoyed great food and JOYÀ. Staff were always kind and helpful. Rooms were cleaned 2x per day. Everything went smoothly. Would definitely recommend.

Family Vacation

My husband and I have stayed at this resort two other times, so we were familiar with how things worked, hence why we chose to come back with our kids. The property owner was very prompt in getting back to me with any questions I had. The resort was great, as always. The staff there is always so nice, welcoming, and courteous. We love coming to Vidanta Riveria Maya!

We rented this property for the Christmas break. We loved the fact that the resort was nestled in the jungle and provided interesting experiences at every turn. Beautiful beaches but not great for swimming in the ocean. Only drawback. Great food and beautiful room.

Perfect Post Christmas Getaway

Our family had a wonderful week! The room was very clean and perfect for our family of five. The staff was very helpful! The resort has so many options for dining, swimming, lounging, and activities we did not get to see them all. Stephanie was easy to work with and very responsive. We rarely visit the same place twice, but can easily see returning here.

Property Great - Property Manager Not So Much

Wonderful resort with great restaurant and amenities. My issues were with the property manager. Even though the property is listed as Grand Luxxe (top level) Stephanie attempted to substitute a Grand Bliss unit. Then I heard nothing for months because got my email wrong (and didn't use the VRBO system to send messages). She set the check in details to open up the day before the reservation even though the VRBO rules require all details to be released at least 7 days prior. When I tried to confirm my reservation with the Grand Luxxe I couldn't because she misspelled my name on the confirmation. I'm still not sure if she was trying to pull something or was just inept, but I would avoid her.

Excellent, with a couple notes

Vidanta Grand Luxxe property is wonderful and owners were terrific and responsive. There was some discrepancy over bed situation that left us a bit in the lurch. And the units are certainly not all as glamorous (and clean) as pictured. But on the whole, we would return. Thank you Stephanie!
