I had an awesome time at this place. The view is incredible. Audrey was a lovely host, and she prepared a tasty, fresh breakfast that was exactly what I wanted. I would absolutely stay here again.

The property was beautiful with an amazing view of the ocean. Audrey was a sweetheart and was helpful for anything we needed. The breakfasts were the perfect amount and variety to start a day exploring. I would stay here again.

Host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Her cooking was amazing and she was very sweet to us. The pool was clean and a perfect way to cool off. I was very pleased with the towels and linens. The AC was very effective and the water pressure was sublime. She provided pool noodles to float with and wonderful padded lounge chairs. Perfect place for a small family or couple get away. The views are immaculate.

Our stay was amazing! The room was clean and as listed, the view was incredible! Audrey was great! The breakfast she made was fantastic. I have nothing but good things to say! We would definately stay here again!

Audrey, the host, was wonderful. And her breakfasts were delicious! Although we didn't actually swim in the pool or sit in the jacuzzi, they both were super clean and if we were swimmers, we would have completely enjoyed it. We just sat back and enjoyed the calm and the magnificent view, almost all day long into the evening as we read.

Amazing Stay

We LOVED our stay here. The host is super sweet and accommodating, the view is amazing, and our breakfasts were delicious. I would highly recommend staying here while visiting the northern beaches.

This is an extraordinary property, and an extraordinary host.Watching the panoramic view of the ocean, Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, and the stars at night is a surreal experience.The host Audrey is an illuminated angel. Someone we will never forget, and will always have in our hearts.It was an honor and privilege to stay here. The property is built on love and passion for life.There is no other option for us now when visiting the Big Island. We will only stay here.Aloha mākou iā ʻoe Aloha nui loa Audrey!

Wonderful views and great breakfasts!

Perfect location to relax and enjoy the beauty of the big island. Audrey is a great host and works to make your stay wonderful. Do wish the pool was a little warmer but it is winter so it probably heats up better in the warmer seasons. Overall it was a wonderful four day stay!

Kohala Ranch Jewel

Our time @ Audrey and Jerry’s was absolutely wonderful. Easy access to everywhere we wanted to go including a quiet little beach at Spencer Park. Highly recommend to all. Breakfast was an added delight.

Quiet private room with a view and pool

Wonderful host Audrey cooked amazing breakfast, different every day. Fabulous view from the bed of whole Kohala coast. Super clean, comfortable and convenient. Watching the Ocean from the veranda is magical.

Amazing place!

Paradise

Makai Hale was the perfect place for sun, relaxation, whale watching and that feeling of ahhhh. The accommodations were extremely comfortable and private. And besides all that, we were treated with a variety of Audrey's delicious breakfasts. We hope to be able to return here soon.

Gorgeous ocean views, delicious breakfast

My wife and I spent 6 nights at Audrey and Jerry's lovely home this February. The site was perfect for us. North of the main resort areas, it is quiet and serene. The views are spectacular, and we could see Humpback whales from the porch of our room. The room is meticulously cared for by Audrey, and she makes fantastic breakfasts that she delivers every morning. She is a great host, and gave us lots of tips for our stay.

Quick getaway

We had a quick three day getaway to the big island. This place was truly amazing. It is a way from the crowds and the resorts, and is quiet and clean. Our host Took good care of us and made us great breakfast. We had fun exploring the northern end of the island and watching the whales from the patio. Definitely will go back.

Panoramic View in a Special Place

We loved staying here. It is a privilege to stay with Audrey and we feel fortunate to have found this place. The panoramic view is extraordinary, the accommodations were perfect for our needs and although we are ocean/lake lovers, we enjoyed having a pool and hot tub available. Audrey's breakfasts are bountiful and delicious. The fruit is outstanding: finally, ripe fruit, something we rarely get here back east. Really, you can spend hours here just taking in the view and relaxing. Everything is neat and pristine but most of all, we enjoyed our lovely, gracious host.
