We had a lovely weekend with family at this cottage, it has many amenities, was clean and spacious. We would recommend this rental. Host always got back.quickly when questioned we asked.

kitchen was well supplied with more than the usual pots and pans, site was wonderful. Lots of little islands to explore. BBQ every night even though the weather was less than stellar. Full moon and campfire was great.

Beautiful spot on the lake facing east with amazing sun rises. We had sun till about 5:00 on the dock. The water is clean and 10 feet deep off the end. No weeds. Great view from the living room. Lots of kitchen utensils, pots, and pans, but could use an extra light there. We fixed it by moving a lamp from a bedroom.

Work Getaway

A gorgeous location. Beautiful views of the lake with a dock to swim, kayak or boat from. It is a bit close to the surrounding cottages but everyone was very friendly.

Cottage on the lake

Nice to have the balcony to eat outside and below with a fire pit. Good access to the lake to swim.

Easy check in and great communication. Very clean and exactly as described. Fully loaded kitchen. The use of canoes and kayaks was great, teens did alot of fishing. Lots of seating areas outside. We were a group of 7 and it was perfect.

A gem of a cottage

The cottage was better than the description. Clean and well-equipped. There are just too many good things to say about this place. We had family from 1 year old to 65 and the cottage was great for all of us. Great swimming area and boat and fishing dock.

Clean Accomodations

We spent 2 nights at Mikes cottage. The cottage was very clean and check in was easy. It’s not very private, as the other cottages/cabins are several feet apart, but if that’s not a big deal for you, I would recommend.

Nice gem on the lake

This was perfect getaway during our family visit. The property is absolutely stunning and we couldn’t have asked for more. Everything was exactly as posted online and the owner, Mike , was a really nice guy, even when we locked ourselves out by accident. He responded within a couple minutes and we were back in quickly. The fire pit and canoeing was a added bonus to the property which we loved the most. Thanks for such a beautiful stay- we will definitely be back!! Chris and Dionne

Great cottage, but not accessible for all

Property not accessible for my husband, he uses an electric wheelchair. The deck and cottage were accessible, but to get from the car to the cottage was quite a difficult thing for him. Also the stairs down to the firepit and dock did not have a railing all the way.

We had a really great experience overall. The host was always responsive and answered our questions in a reasonable amount of time from beginning to end. On our second night we even met the host and some of their guests, and we ended up spending time together outside playing music, guitar, and enjoying the evening together, which made the trip even more memorable and fun.The villa was clean, the view was amazing, and the kitchen supplies and dishes were all good. We also really enjoyed the boats and spent a lot of quality time on the water.There were a couple of challenges worth mentioning. The biggest one was having only one bathroom/shower for a large group. We already knew this before booking, but with 8 people it became difficult at times, especially in the mornings since the toilet and shower were in the same room.Another thing to keep in mind is that each villa only gets two parking spots, and guests also need to bring their own bedding, pillows, and blankets. This was mentioned in advance as well, but it can become challenging when trying to fit luggage, food, and sleeping supplies for several people into only two cars.Also, definitely bring mosquito protection because there were a lot of mosquitoes in the area.Overall though, it was a beautiful place with an amazing view and a very enjoyable atmosphere. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to others, especially for people who enjoy nature and lake activities.

Review

We had a wonderful time! It was a lovely cottage, liked that it wasn’t too far from the water. We enjoyed using the kayaks and canoe and the fire pit in the evening for roasting marshmallows. It was spacious enough for 8 of us. The bbq needs some TLC, we couldn’t use it the second night to cook our food, needs a good cleaning.

Nice cottage and lake
