Welcome to the Big Sky Barndominium! Shortcuts to shopping!
Welcome to Big Sky Barndominium! Whether you’re here for the famous Round Top Antique Show, Shakespeare at Winedale, a concert at Round Top Festival Hill, a destination wedding or to get away from it all, Big Sky Barndo is sure to please. Located less than 5 miles from the Round Top Square, Warrenton, Marburger Farms, and The Compound, we also can provide backroad directions to avoid 237 traffic during the height of the shows. Nestled on 35 acres between rolling hills and bales of hay, enjoy coffee on the porch in the morning watching the deer scurry by. The barndominium is new construction and was decorated by an Instagram-famous decorator, with modern touches, a fire pit and a full kitchen. It is locally owned and managed on-site by a Round Top resident of 25 years.
Round Top, now coined "The Hamptons of Texas,” is halfway between Houston and Austin. It is rich with culture, fine dining and made famous by the Round Top Antique Show. The antique show has grown to be the second-largest antique venue in the country, featuring everything from DIY to fine, European pieces. Big Sky Barndo is your ticket to it all. Don’t miss out!
A note on our refund policy: We will refund 100% at any time if Judge Joe Weber, the county judge for Fayette County, or any of the local elected officials close the antique shows. We realize this is the main draw to our area, and this is what happened last spring. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Carol was wonderful! We hoped to play mahjong and she made sure we had a special table. The beds were very comfortable and it’s very close to Round Top shopping. Perfect visit!

Our group of friends really enjoyed our stay at the barndominium. Lovely place, very clean, plenty of room for the 6 of us, and very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again!

One of the best in Round Top!
The house was beautifully decorated, quiet, comfortable and fully stocked - plus it had WIFI! The owners were very attentive, easy to deal with and quick to respond. We LOVED staying at this house during Round Top and will definitely be back in March/ April. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Relaxing Stay in the Country!
The Barndo was exactly as depicted in photos. A beautiful property very close to everything. Very comfortable beds, very clean and super nice hosts. Perfect for small family, girls group or several couples! Highly recommend!

Yes, there were shops nearby. We loved the Big Sky Barndo!!! We will return. The view is incredible; we even saw turkeys in the yard. The barndo was fabulous, warm, inviting and enjoyable. We loved how it was decorated. Everyone had a fabulous time - when we were not shopping. We cannot wait to return. Thank you for the excellent hospitality.

Large great room. Quite location, no visible neighbors.Everything was as advertised. I would stay there again.

The Best!!
We loved our stay and found everything we could possibly need(even a yoga mat). It was spotless!
Three friends enjoying time together

Great property that lives up to the description! Very clean with comfy beds and bedding. Close to town and the countryside and beautiful flowers were the perfect way to end our shopping days!

Cute house and perfect location
This is our 2nd time staying in the Barndominium and it is a perfect place for a group of friends visiting the Round Top area. Even though the house is on a secluded farm, it is just minutes away from all the shopping. Such cute farmhouse decor!

Absolutely Beautiful!
The Barndominium is absolutely gorgeous and we loved the way it was so tastefully decorated! So spacious and gorgeous! My mom, sister & I will stay here during every Round Top! No Doubt this will be our go to!

Hello, I'm Carol, and welcome to Big Sky Barndominium. My husband and I lived in Houston for 50 years and have been proud owners of a ranch in Round Top for 25 years. We like to say we bought property in Round Top before it was cool. We built a barndominium for our expanding family and decided to share our love of the area with travelers. We love living in this area, shopping and concert-going and hope our guests do as well. I will be on the other side of the property and available by text or phone should you have any questions. I know backroads and am happy to share shopping tips and Round Top history. Welcome to the country!
