Información de la propiedad
Villa Dioni a magnificent Villa
Villa Dioni is located in Neokesaria, 9 km from Ioannina. It is built on an estate of 5 acres, on a hill, with unlimited view of the countryside and the mountains. On the ground floor there is a very special living room - with two lounges, a fireplace, a desk and a dining room with capacity of 12 people - a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. On the first floor there are three bedrooms and the main bathroom. All rooms are sunny, have large wardrobes, LCD plasma TVs and balcony with great view. There is WIFI free of charge throughout the accommodation. During summer there is air conditioning system. During winter there is central heating throughout the building.
For our little friends, there are children's books, board games, dvds and children's films, a litlle piano and of course unlimited lawn for playing and countryside activities. Baby cot is also available.
Villa Dioni floor is all made from iroko wood, except for the fully equipped kitchen, which has granite tile. The central wall of the living room is built with stone from Zagori, is 60 cm thick and there lies the fireplace. The luminaires are handcrafted with swarovski crystals. There are dark plush curtains, and interior velvet curtains embroidered in tulle, brought from India. The carpets are Kabir, 550.000 knots per m2. On the sofas there are handmade silk pads embroidered in Uzbekistan, crystal glasses and embroidery, family heirlooms, exquisite samples of Ioannina art as well as carved silver and antiques. The walls host paintings and photographs of old Ioannina. The sheets are white, of 100% Greek cotton, traditional embroidery, hand crafted by the two previous generations of our family.
At the back of the house a vegetable garden offers fresh organic vegetables to the owners and tenants. Most of them come from authentic seeds. Villa Dioni hosts 4 animals in her garden, Herra a small cute and friendly dog and three cats.

Preguntas frecuentes
Acerca del anfitrión
Anfitrión: Aikaterini Klosta
Epirus is the poorest region in the country. Because of this poverty, the residents here are very hospitable. In ancient Greece the worship of Xenius Zeus was very widespread. It was an institution for ancient Greeks to welcome and care for strangers in their home. Hospitality was offered to every passerby, independently of the percons economik and social position. They accepted every stranger and they offered food, bath and sleep. In the end they said farewell and give him gifts. Hospitality was a moral rule. This tradition of my people is preserved even today, especially in the villages. You can find it yourself!!
