Serene cottage on Spring Lake

Recently renovated cottage overlooking Spring lake. One bedroom one bath. Sleeps 4 with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa. Access to Spring lake for non motorized boating. No swimming. Enjoy the variety of wildlife including deer, geese, ducks, rabbits, foxes, and the occasional bald eagle. 8 miles from the University of Mississippi and Oxford Square. ( 15 minutes door to door) The Lakes subdivision is family and pedestrian friendly. Linens and towels provided. No extra pet fees.

Great place, not far from town

We loved our home away from home for a football weekend. Being able to bring our dogs is always a bonus. Space was a great size for a long weekend! We will stay again for sure!

Adorable Cottage

The cottage was so cute and clean. Very easy to commute back and forth to campus to visit our daughter. Owners were great with communication. Will definitely stay again!

Cute Clean Quiet Cottage with a Beautiful View

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage for our weekend in Oxford. It was clean and quiet and the perfect spot to bring our dogs and enjoy visiting our son that goes to Ole Miss. We will definitely come back!

Adorable Cottage with a Beautiful View

We were visiting to watch our grand daughter play in a softball tournament. The cottage was a perfect place for us to stay with our dogs. It was an easy commute to and from the ball fields. The owners were exceptional with communication. We hope to stay again in the near future.

Ole Miss Football Weekend

We will absolutely stay here again!!! Perfect lakeside property, just far enough out of town for a quiet and relaxing stay but close in enough to enjoy all that Oxford has to offer. Super-nice and responsive host - excellent communications - not one complaint.

Cozy Get Away

We came to Oxford for the football game. This spot was perfect- close enough to be convenient, but the spot on a lake in the woods made it feel like a special spot. The bed was comfy. The place was very clean. Holly made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again.

A sweet getaway

This is a charming little house! We loved our stay. It’s a little ways outside of Oxford, but honestly it was nice to be away from the Homecoming/Game crowds. It’s so peaceful and quiet out by this lake. And let me not forget the shoutout to Holly, our host, for the delicious brownies! Highly recommend this property!

Recommend

While this house is not in the middle of the “action” of Oxford, it’s only a 10-12 minute drive from everywhere. It’s a cozy, well-equipped house on a pretty lake. The property owners were very easy to reach. We’d stay here again.

Cute and Comfy Lake House

We were in town for a wedding, this house was close to the venue and very close to town. The house had everything you need, plenty of room for 2 people. The owners are next door in case of any issues. We really enjoyed the front porch looking at the lake and the very quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again if we are coming to the area.

Never want to leave 💜

We had the most wonderful weekend - ole Miss parents weekend & staying at this amazing cottage. The accommodations are fabulous / beautiful location, cutest cottage and was immaculate and had everything you needed. The Host Holly was above & beyond on making sure everything was perfect. We can’t wait to come again. Thank you for this slice of heaven in Oxford!!

Wonderful Host

Just have to say Holly was a wonderful host. Our trip didn't go quite as planned due to a medical emergency but we will certainly replan our trip and will be staying at the Serene Cottage. Thank you Holly for all your help and the wonderful dessert11 :)

Spring Weekend in Oxford

This is a great place for a stay in Oxford. It has nice lake views and is very quiet and peaceful. The house was spotless when we checked in and the owner had left fresh brownies for us, and snacks for the dog! What a treat! She was great to communicate with about questions and made us feel very welcome. The house is about a 15 minute drive from the Oxford Square and the Ole Miss campus. We will definitely stay here again!

This property is fabulous. The lake and landscaping is beautiful. They made sure we had everything we needed, loved on our pup, had brownies and coffee to get us started. Would love to stay there again if we are ever close by, we travel extensively in North America and abroad. Holly and Roger rank at the top of our list for VRBO owners. They also have the sweetest dogs. If you are a fisherman/women you would be close to Sardis Lake MS as well as fishing on their property anytime.

Peaceful Stay close to Ole Miss

My husband and I stayed at this property for parent weekend at Ole Miss. It was a pleasant alternative to a hotel. This property is a separate guest house on the same grounds as the owners, located within a sub division of nice homes. Privacy is not an issue. Had everything we needed. We enjoyed the view of the lake while drinking our coffee. Felt peaceful. Holly was very friendly and accommodating. We will gladly return here in the future.

Wonderful Stay!

This stay was in a peaceful lovely neighborhood only 10 minutes from Oxford. My wife and I both thought the bed was super comfortable. The house was very clean. The owner was responsive and everything was straightforward. Loved our stay!

Quiet and convenient

The cottage was just perfect for my husband and I. It was just as pictured and a bigger than I anticipated. If ever in Oxford again, this property will be the first I look for!

Wonderful weekend retreat.

A gracious host and better than expected weather made for a wonderful weekend in Oxford. The lakeside cottage exceeded our expectations and we wanted for nothing. The brownies waiting for us from our host was such a thoughtful welcome. Highly recommend.

Cute cottage

Located a 10-min drive from Oxford, this cottage worked well for me and my dog. Could use a deep cleaning (fridge shelves, windows) but other than that was great. Beautiful views of the lake at sunrise and sunset. The host left delicious brownies too! Yum!!
