Welcome to The Mews at Garryvadden, a tranquil and lovely guest suite in the rural, coastal environment of Blackwater, Wexford. We offer a private guesthouse steeped in antique charm with its own outdoor patio garden and Wifi, 3 min from Blackwater village, 10 min from historic Curracloe beach and 15 min from the amenities of Wexford Town. Unwind with our luxurious guest amenities, special selection of books, games, bath treatments, Netflix and Disney+, seaside country air and peaceful ambience.

The space

Garryvadden Mews is designed to be relaxing, luxurious and ecologically mindful. The guesthouse is chock full of natural, vegan and organic products like toiletries, kitchen staples and aromatherapies. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities including filtered water, complimentary organic & plastic-free teas, Nespresso and whole-bean, fair trade coffee, condiments, baking ingredients, oils, spices, bullet blender, etc. Beach supplies include BPA-free sun-block, Turkish towels, a windbreak, picnic hamper, and travel cups. The beds are extremely comfortable with natural cotton linens. We use only unscented laundry detergents, and natural, antibacterial cleaning products, plus bins for your recycling.

Wonderful stay

Glen and Lindsay were greats hosts and thought of everything. Location is great, only a few Kms to beach, walks, village. Ideal to take a small dog along. Recommend booking the sauna and hot tub.

Comfort and location

Their are a lot of items and places worth visiting in the vicinity. The house is spotless and tastefully decorated. Everyday items are all ready in the house leaving lots of options for self catering. It was a tonic

Quaint setting !

We loved this beautifully decorated cottage. We stayed in several places in Ireland but this was our absolute favourite. We sat outside on the patio area for sunset upon arrival with a glass of wine in hand, listening to the beautiful birds. The decor is so calming and we cuddled on the couch on a rainy day and watched movies. We will definitely be back !

Fabulous little cottage

Very well equipped! Gorgeous cottage, so comfortable and cosy, beautiful bath with lovely bath salts and bubbles etc! Such gorgeous touches. Hosts were so kind and understanding when we had a problem.

Beautiful property, tastefully decorated

The property is nothing short of stunning. The decor and furnishings are very both tasteful and beautiful. The attention to detail throughout the property is incredible. Everything was considered when furnishing this property from the very welcome coffee machine, the array of condiments to the well appointed kitchen. Its feels bigger than a 1 bed. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

Lovely rural location

I needed accommodation for a whole month of work in Wexford, with good cooking and laundry facilities. The Mews was perfect for my needs - warm, comfortable, nicely decorated, well- equipped. The owners have really thought about the things needed by any guest, and have provided a lot of nice extra touches, like lovely natural shower gels etc. The kitchen is great, there is even a selection of herbs and spices provided. Glen and Lyndsey couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The surroundings are lovely and quiet, the local beach is stunning.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.

Das Ferienhaus liegt auf dem Anwesen des Vermieters, die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Die Einrichtung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und es ist hervorragend ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Von Handtüchern über Geschirr und Besteck bis hin zu Kissen und Decken ist alles, was man braucht, reichlich vorhanden. In Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer und Bad stehen zeitgesteuerte LED-Kerzen, die uns abends bei unserer Rückkehr immer mit ihrem warmen Licht empfingen. Selbst Verbrauchmaterialen wie Duschschaum, Shampoo, Duftöle, Spülmittel, etc. werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Einrichtung und die Dekoration des Ferienhauses sind weit überdurchschnittlich. Zur Begrüßung und auch während unseres Aufenthalts bekamen wir frische Schnittblumen aus dem eigenen Garten! Fernsehsender können nicht empfangen werden, aber dafür steht ein freier Netflix-Zugang zur Verfügung. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich, zuvorkommend und unkompliziert. Bei Fragen oder Problemen waren sie jederzeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub, ein Genuss!

Frühjahr in Blackwater

Tolle Unterkunft, ruhige Lage Sehr nette, hilfsbereite und unkomplizierte Vermieter. Für Ausflüge im Südosten Irland, den Wicklow Mountains absolut gute Lage. Auto ist notwendig (am besten auch mit Navi). Wenn wir wieder nach Irland kommen, dann auch hierhin. Danke

Ein Zuhause zum Wohlfühlen

Es ist alles da, was das Herz begehrt: Genug Handtücher, prima ausgestattete Küche, toller Nespresso Kaffee, Netflix, super bequemes Bett. Alles ist sauber, so schön und liebevoll gemacht, dass man sich sehr willkommen und wohl fühlt. Ganz prima! Und der Curracloe Strand in der Nähe ist der Hammer!
