The location of this property is close to many key sites in Narbonne - Les Halles, restaurants, the city center. The house is beautiful and well appointed for our group of 4. Parking was easy. James and the property manager were very friendly and responsive. Hope to stay again!

Our group - three adult couples and two children - had a wonderful stay. The layout - living room to dining room to kitchen to sunroom was perfect for hanging out to eat, talk and play. The pool area was wonderful for quiet time reading and sipping wine. Incredibly easy access to town markets and cafes. Narbonne (and James' hideaway) is a gem. James responded in real time (never more than a few minutes!) to any queries we had about town and the house. A great experience.

Dream stay in the South of France

La Maison is a dream spot in the south of France. The town of Narbonne is a quaint ancient seaside town. Full of history but also with a great tradition of food and wine. You won’t go hungry, from the market Les Halles to Les Grandes Buffets and all the amazing little gems we fully fell under the spell of Silenus and Bacchus. The house itself is spacious and comfortable. More than enough room for our family of four. A well equipped kitchen to prepare all the lovely market ingredients. And of course, the pool. The kids had a blast playing in the cool refreshing water. Our hosts were communicative and helpful and our stay could not have gone smoother! Thank you for the lovely accommodations. We hope to be back sometime, we miss it already!

A great place for a friends trip

Five of us travel friends, over 65, chose this house because we love this part of France, which we’ve traveled to, several times, in the past 25 years. This was the first time that we’ve stayed in Narbonne. The house is a short walk to the magnificent Les Halles market, which we shopped in every day. I miss it already! It’s a beautiful house with a pool and lovely outdoor space, unfortunately the weather was too cool for swimming. The location is perfect, a couple of blocks from the Robine Canal, where the Market is - lovely for walking, with restaurants alongside. Parking was always available on the streets outside the house. The layout of the house was excellent for entertaining French friends, who we hadn’t seen in a long time. It was an extremely comfortable and inviting space to just hang out in - around the table, living room, and Sun room, or outside by the pool. The bedrooms were very comfortable! It’s a great location to visit other market villages and restaurants. None of us would hesitate to return again!

Winter in Narbonne

Excellent home with all the comforts for a 2 months stay. Very spacious for 2 people so never felt crowded. Favorite spot was the sun room when we spent a lot of time. We lunched in the garden at least a half dozen time even thought it was officially winter as it was a beautiful sun trap. Elegant bed linen and the house was stylishly appointed. Loved it! We were able to walk to everything so never need a car and our friends in Caunes picked us up for any of the outings that we did. Apart from some construction next door for about 2 weeks we were there, it was remarkably quiet. We did have to cut short our time in Narbonne but will definitely want to winter at this property again. Sharon and Con
