This two story house is located in Clifton,YellowSprings, 3miles N. OfCedarville

The house is located in our garden and is close to many area attractions. The first floor has a full bathroom (shower only) situated in one corner . The remainder of the first floor (completely remodeled January 2023) is a living area , a fully equipped kitchen with a queen sized bed to one end that has a curtain partition.
On the second floor is a library/game room with a table/chairs and recliners on one half while the other half has two bedrooms with a full size bed in each room..
The front porch is a great place to relax , the separate patio area is great to sit and relax also and is the only permissible place to smoke on the property. Everyone is invited to tour the gardens or to find a quiet place to sit and relax.
We are 3 miles out of Yellow Springs and 1 1/2 blocks from the entrance to the Clifton Gorge. Glen Helen Reserve, John Bryan State Forest , The Indian mound trail in Cedarville are all within three miles.
Daytons' Air Force Museum, Springfields' Antique Extravaganza are only a couple of attractions that are within a thirty mile radius.
There is so much to do ! We have brochures and information located in the cabin.
Mostly we invite you to sit in the gardens and in the cabin for a quiet and relaxing retreat.
We hope to see you soon.
The nightly rate is $10.00 more for each additional guest of more than two. $145.00 is the nightly rate for one and two guests. Our weekends require a 2 night stay.

Cute with everything you need

This is an adorable older house beautifully maintained with all the modern conveniences. The owners are attentive and there if needed but do not intrude otherwise. The house was clean and had everything needed for a great stay!

Even better than expected!

We just were looking for a clean space to stay for a night with our 2 year old and 6 month old and this exceeded our expectations! The pictures barely do it justice. The place is very clean and has everything you could need from extra blankets, plenty of outlets, cleaning supplies, and even kids books (and tons of adult books too!). It's quaint and easy to get to. The owner checked in on us and clearly has given detail and care to the property. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Thanksgiving getaway!

What a wonderful place! We went for Thanksgiving weekend. We could walk easily to the Historic Clifton Mill for Friday breakfast and Friday night light viewing. It was an easy walk to the Clifton Gorge Trail, where we hiked Thursday before Thanksgiving dinner at the Mill Park Hotel. The host popped by and was friendly and helpful. The cabin was awesome, nice and warm and cozy, with remnants of the beautiful garden. The beds were comfortable! The shower pressure was great and water was hot. All in all, we had a very comfortable and happy stay.

A Real Gem

Like a scene from a Hallmark movie.The cottage is charming, cozy, comfortable, tasteful. Lit up with colorful seasonal lights. Contained everything one could need. Beautiful small patio and porch for sitting. The small town is charming and very close to Yellow Springs. There is the Clifton Mill within walking distance of the property. The Mill was lit up for the Legendary Christmas Light Show. Fantastic restaurant at the Mill that's open 7 days a week. Everything was magical. Also great hiking trails within the area. A perfect get away.

We enjoyed a nice stay

We had a pleasant stay at this Clifton VRBO. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and provided all the basic amenities we expected. The host was friendly and accommodating. However, there are a few things to be aware of when booking. The property is a cabin rather than a traditional home, as listed. It has one bathroom located on the main floor, while the two upstairs bedrooms require guests to go downstairs at night to use the restroom. The queen bed on the first floor is separated from the living area by curtains, which offers minimal privacy. Additionally, the cabin is situated in the backyard of the host’s home, so there is limited privacy overall. The neighboring homes are close by, and some have unsightly debris in their yards. Considering these factors, we felt the price was a bit high for what was offered. That being said, I can imagine the stay would be more enjoyable when the garden is in full bloom.

This was our third stay at this sweet little cabin and it did not disappoint! There was plenty of room for all of us and it was so beautifully appointed. This sweet cabin is just spotless! We've returned three times and can highly recommend a stay in this cabin to you!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The grounds were beautiful and the cabin was perfect for our group. It’s six minutes from Cedarville University’s campus so it was easy to get to from the college while we dropped off our son.

We had a little trouble finding the cabin at first but the host guided us in the right direction. Beautiful property but too bad about the neighbors. It was all good with us, but next door landlords should be fined or something. It was worth every penny and we loved, but could be perfect!🎉

Lovely place

This is our second year returning to the cabin for our daughter's bike race in the area. The cabin is very clean, comfortable, and has everything we need for a lovely weekend stay. Owner has taken great care to make the grounds and landscaping very pretty. Host is great with communication. We will stay here again!

Yellow Springs stay.

We always love to stay at the cabin when taking a trip to Yellow Springs. The cabin is fantastic...very clean. The gardens are beautiful. So beautiful...I picked the pond with the bench to propose to my girlfriend. Great memories.
