Private, quiet & safe 1 BR with full bath and functional kitchen just 8 miles from downtown Asheville NC , 13 miles from Hendersonville NC and only 3.5 miles to the airport and Blue Ridge Parkway. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit just across the creek in wooded clearing. Relax on the screened porch while you are serenaded by song birds at night and an orchestra of cicadas at night. The space is on second floor and located on a partially wooded property abutting creek with fire pit in a quiet wooded clearing. The Gem has the comforts of a cozy updated urban apartment nestled in a wooded fold of mother nature for an outdoor retreat feeling in Asheville suburbia. Amenities include a screened sitting porch with gas grill, 2 person hot tub and gas fire pit with covered parking next to entrance for easy entry in inclement weather. The stay includes internet and internet based TV such as Netflix. . Please park on right side of door code is 7531...turn tab after green light.

We had a great stay. Only recommendations I would have would be more comfortable living area furniture and a tv in the bedroom. But we really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, easy check in/out with great communication from host. We would stay again.

Hot tub wasn’t private! The stairs that isn’t shown should be shared. The furniture isn’t comfortable at all! No TV in the bedroom! Plus you’re surrounded and that’s not shown in the pictures. Best thing was the bed

Charming rustic retreat — great if you know what you're looking forI stayed as a solo female traveler for four nights over July 4th weekend and had a lovely experience, with a few honest caveats worth knowing.Host Karl is wonderful — kind, responsive, and when I accidentally locked myself out on the holiday, he helped me resolve it quickly. Great host who genuinely cares.The space has real character — boho chic decor, colorful tapestries, interesting artwork, cozy artsy vibe. It's a converted barn and shows its age a little: screens need some attention, no central air (window unit only, I ran a fan in the bedroom doorway to circulate it), and water pressure in the shower was low. Not a polished modern rental, so adjust expectations accordingly.What it does deliver: spotlessly clean with fresh-smelling linens, good WiFi, a functional little kitchen with everything you need for a short stay, a comfortable bed, and a peaceful wooded setting.And the private hot tub is the star of the show. Quiet, surrounded by trees, birds chirping. I used it every single morning & evening! For the price — all fees included, no surprises — this delivers exactly what it promises. If you want a quiet woodsy escape with charm and a private hot tub and don't need luxury amenities, this is a lovely find. I'd stay again!

Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. It had everything we needed. Had to call host and he returned by messaging in a timely matter. Bed was very comfortable-medium firm.We didn’t require glamour or excess amenities. This is a clean, nice place at a good price.
