Sugar Palm Vacation Rentals is a local Destin company and we take great measures to ensure every aspect of the home and your stay is as perfect as can be. We make sure this home is clean, well-maintained and ready for you to enjoy. Unlike other property managers, who may be hundreds of miles away, our office is right here in the neighborhood – so if anything breaks down while you're staying, our staff is close by to come and fix it! We're happy to answer any questions before you book and we're available during your stay.

Nantucket House is right ACROSS from the BEACH on Scenic 98 and is an ideal home for 4-5 families with children- we sleep up to 23 people. This beautifully nostalgic, Nantucket-style home features modern conveniences for your comfort, while preserving the unique retro-charm of this large, luxury beach home.

As our guest, you'll enjoy PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS which includes 2 chairs and 1 umbrella set up for you each day of your stay. It's a hassle-free beach experience - enjoy the beach in this private roped-off area, away from the public beach crowds! Your entire group can also set up other chairs behind the rental chairs in this private beach area. You can also rent additional chairs/umbrellas, as available. (March-October 2025)

FIRST FLOOR

Inside you'll find a bright and inviting living area with gleaming new floors, a brick fireplace, and beautiful tongue and groove wood details on the walls and ceilings. There's a leather sectional, chaise and side chair, and you'll appreciate the big HDTV with DVD player. .

The wide open spaces continue in the beautifully updated kitchen, with high-end stainless steel appliances. In this well-appointed kitchen, you'll find all the dishes, pans, appliances and utensils you may need, a Keurig, as well as a regular drip coffee maker. There's room for 12 at the dining table, and more dining space at the kitchen counter. We want you to feel at home, and the large, open layout is a perfect gathering spot for your family or friends.

BEDROOM #1 - KING BEDROOM with Private Ensuite Bathroom - 1st Floor
This is a very large bedroom that is perfect for guests who would prefer to stay on the 1st floor. It features a KING BED, and a flat screen TV. A sleeper chair provides a nice place to relax, or perhaps for a child to share your room. The large private ensuite bathroom has just been fully remodeled and features a large vanity with two sinks and plenty of storage, a commode & a large walk-in shower.

Bathroom #2 - 1st Floor
This beautifully updated full bathroom is convenient for everyone to use on the 1st floor. There's a vanity, commode and tub/shower combination.

BEDROOM #2 - KING BEDROOM - 2nd Floor
This bedroom features a KING BED, vaulted ceiling, a custom window seat, a dresser, and a flat-screen TV. Guests share the full bathroom with Bedroom # 3 guests.

BEDROOM #3 - KING BEDROOM - 2nd Floor
There's a KING BED, vaulted ceiling and a custom window seat. This room also includes a bedside table and lamp and a flat-screen TV. Guests share the full bathroom with Bedroom #2 guests.

Bathroom #3 - 2nd Floor
New remodel: This full bathroom is shared by guests in the Bedrooms #2 and #3. It features a vanity with storage and extra counter space, a commode, and large walk-in shower.

BEDROOM #4 - KING BEDROOM with Private Ensuite Bathroom - 2nd Floor
This bedroom has a comfortable KING BED, a custom window seat and a flat-screen TV with DVD player.

BATHROOM #4 The private ensuite bathroom features a single vanity with storage, commode and a large walk-in shower with glass doors. It was just remodeled in December 2024!

BEDROOM #5 - TRIPLE QUEEN BEDROOM with Private Ensuite Bathroom - 2nd Floor
Children, teens, and adults alike LOVE this bedroom! It features 3 QUEEN BEDS, HDTV and a built-in dresser. It's the room that everyone talks about with lots of space and beautiful vaulted ceilings, and bedside tables and lamps between the beds.

BATHROOM #5 - Guests staying in the Triple Queen Bedroom will appreciate this gorgeous ensuite -- just updated in 2024. It features a double vanity, a commode and a beautiful walk-in tile shower.

BEDROOM #6 - Bunk Room/Play Room with Private Ensuite Bathroom - 3rd Floor

The 3rd floor now has additional space for a BUMPER POOL TABLE with windows all around - enjoy the OCEAN VIEW! It's a great place for children or teens to hang out. However, adults will want to check it out too - for a game of pool and definitely for the view! There are 2 full-over-full bunk beds (yes, that's 4 full-size beds.)

BATHROOM #6 - For 3rd floor bunkroom guests, this bathroom has a custom vanity and sink, commode and stand-up shower.

LARGE POOL & OUTDOOR AREA
Step out from the living room to enjoy our beautiful 18' x 30' private pool (one of the largest in Crystal Beach.) It's a gorgeous pool with custom mosaic tile and a large sunning deck and artificial turf all around for you to enjoy the Destin sunshine! The raised spa has a waterfall effect into the pool; it is the same temperature as the pool (not a hot tub.) It's a great place to cool off in the summer with relaxing, massaging bubbles. Pool/spa heat is available for $40/day. (Max temperature is about 85 degrees for both.)

Near the pool, there's a natural gas grill for your favorite dinners. You'll also find plenty of seating and dining tables with a pergola, umbrellas and chairs.

PERFECT BEACH LOCATION
You'll be right across the street from the beach (Scenic 98) - public beach access is just steps away. We provide a cart with beach chairs and an umbrella too.

This home is in the heart of Crystal Beach, a quiet, walkable neighborhood with white picket fences and easy access to shopping, restaurants and activities in Destin. Destin Commons, a beautiful upscale shopping and entertainment center, is less than a half-mile away. It features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Bass Pro Shop, World of Beer, Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl & Grill, AMC Theater with IMAX and much more. Local favorite, Camille's, is just down the street, and The Crab Trap is about a mile east. You can bicycle, scooter, Jet ski and go parasailing all within walking distance. The Silver Sands Outlet mall is not far for those who enjoy “retail therapy”!

OFF-STREET PARKING
You may park up to 5 vehicles at this home, depending on size. There is no street parking allowed in Destin.

PET FRIENDLY
We are pet friendly and welcome your dogs in our home. There is a $300 per dog extra fee and your dog must be pre-approved by the owner.

NOTE: While this home sleeps 23, the posted rent is based on 14 guests;
Any groups with 15-23 guests may be subject to extra guest charges.
(Monthly rates during Nov.-Feb. are based on two-person occupancy. If you have more than two people staying at the property, you may be subject to additional charges
🏡 House Rules for Nantucket House
Rental Agreement and Security Verification: Must be signed within 48 hours of booking.
Occupancy: Max 16 guests allowed.
Age Requirement: Primary guest must be 25+ and stay the entire trip.
Pets: Dog-friendly with prior approval and $300 pet fee per dog. Limit 1–2 dogs only. No other pets allowed.
No Smoking: No smoking or vaping inside the home or near doors and windows.
Parking: Up to 5 vehicles allowed in driveway. No street parking allowed in Destin.
Private Beach Access: Enjoy included chairs and umbrella setup (March–October). Personal setups must be behind rental chairs.
Golf Cart Use: Complimentary 6-passenger golf cart provided. Follow local rules and drive safely.
Pool & Spa Safety: Swim at your own risk. No glass around the pool. Pool/spa heat available for $40/day.
Towels & Linens: Keep bath towels inside. Place used towels in bathrooms before checkout.
Outdoor Areas: Clean the grill after use. Use pergola and pool areas responsibly.
Trash: Bag and dispose of all trash properly in outdoor bins before departure.
Departure: Turn off all lights, TVs, appliances, and securely lock all doors and windows when leaving.
