Fabulous Panoramic Ocean View Villa

We have been so lucky to have stayed in this wonderful villa the past three years during the months of February & March. The place is absolutely spotless and furnished with about everything one could possibly want. The 145 degree panoramic view of the ocean from all three levels is breathtaking. The beds are so comfortable that we sleep in an extra hour compared to our beds at home (the sound of the waves probably has something to do with this). The patio and deck are great places to enjoy a book or catch some rays while listening to the ocean, very relaxing and peaceful. The property owner is great to work with, very responsive and caring. We have always been 100% satisfied and will return next year.

Perfect spot to relax and have fun!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was immaculate and well stocked for our month. We enjoyed having coffee on the the top balcony and enjoyed many nice dinners on the bottom balcony. The balconies were perfect for watching the sunset too. The sound of the waves was so comforting too. Perfect vacation.

Excellent owner prep for our visit made for comfortable stay.

Excellent location on the property. Top location for Victoria beach, with pool and tennis amenities as well. All household items and instructions prepared well and made for an easy transition to the unit. Furnishings and supplies made for a comfortable stay. Unit is in great location on the property. Owner's prep made us feel right at home from the first day.

Just Steps to the Beach (and a Hump back Up)

Our family really enjoyed our time at this condo...great views to the ocean, nice accommodations, and the weather cooperated....ate at Mare's, Alessa's, Broadway and Lumberyard downtown, and there are a couple great restaurants across the street including Dizz's As Is and Starfish....Laguna Beach is a great community and with the Trolley system downtown is only 10 to 30 minutes at no cost... The walk down to the beach is at a fairly good downslope that you really understand on the walk back up the hill....if I were 24 I would consider good exercise...at 50 I consider it a heart attack about to happen...I do not hold the owners to blame...just my lethargic lifestyle. Once again, great place, great community and nice semi-private beach...thank you for the superb memories.

Five Star Easter Break

We stayed at Blue Lagoon for two weeks from the 31st March till the 13th of April. This was the first time to Southern California with the family and we fell in love with area. Laguna Beach is idyllic and has a lovely vibe, fantastic restaurants and tempting art galleries. From the time we started our research into accommodation in Laguna Beach we found the depth and clarity of the communication from Diane to be excellent. Upon arrival Diane had arranged some provisions, which was a pleasant surprise. The pictures on the web of the Villa do not reflect the amount of space and we quite happily lost our two teenage kids in their Den at the base of the property while mum and Dad enjoyed a drink at Sunset from the balcony. The beach is a real gem, I would guess that even in high season the beach would never feel busy and the fact that you are literally two minutes walk back to the Villa from the beach is a real advantage. Diane could not have been a better host she was always available and had all the answers we needed. What really impressed us is that this is a real home from home and I would challenge anyone to find a utensil, stain remover or other domestic necessity that they have at home that Diane had not provided. A perfect Easter break and a perfect Villa, thank you Diane. We whole-heartedly give you and your villa a five star review and look forward to booking with you again in the future. Excellent Location with a private beach!

We stayed there with our 2 kids and my parents and we were all very comfortable. Nice to be away from the hussle and bussle of LA. Great little restaurants near by and an Albertsons right around the corner to buy grocercies. Thanks for the great stay.

My husband and I stayed here and this condo was above our expectations. First, it was immaculate which is very important to me. The location was fabulous. You walk out of your condo and onto the beach, pool or tennis court within a few minutes. Everything that you would need is provided: beach chairs, beach towels, etc. The owner, Diane, was very helpful, friendly and answered all my questions. I had a dinner party for my husband's birthday at the Montage which is located next door and a great place for a lovely brunch, dinner or drink. Grocery shopping is nearby as are restaurants, nail salon, etc. I highly recommend this condo and am looking forward to staying there the next time I travel to Laguna Beach. FABULOUS!!!

Our Perfect Vacation

What a perfect place to spend a vacation. We have three children, it was a wonderful place, accommodated us all very comfortably. When we can have our own beach house we would just duplicate this gorgeous place! We did spend a day at disneyland, very easy to get to from this spot. Even though we had our car parked in the covered parking, once we were there we did not want to leave. Thanks for sharing your jewel with us!

Great 1st trip to Laguna

After months of research of places to stay we choose to stay at Blue Lagoon in Laguna beach. This was our first trip to California and we were not familiar with the area. We choose Blue Lagoon since it had all the amenities that my family wanted. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner. It was very thoughtful of her to take the time and show us around. She has taken alot of time and thought into everything you would need to make your vacation perfect. It is everything the pictures show you and more!! The area is also very conveinent. It was close to downtown Laguna but far enough to get some peace and quiet. Across the street is a grocery store, drug store and great Diner that has delicious burgers and salads. Downtown Laguna has some really great shops and restaurants. Since this was our first time visiting Ca. there was alot to see. My children wanted to visit Six flags, Hurricane Harbor (waterpark) and Universal Studios. It is a drive to all of these attractions however, it was defiantley worth the drive. We enjoyed all the amentities of the villa. A couple of nights we cooked in and had all of the utensils to do so. The grill was also very conveinent. Although my absolutely favorite part of Laguna is the views. It is breathtaking. The sunset is beautiful...I also loved just hanging out on the deck you can see the ocean from the deck. The sights and sounds from the deck were so relaxing and calming! I would defiantley return to Blue Lagoon in Laguna Beach. It was a very memorable vacation for my family and I.

Best vacation ever!!!

I enjoyed a WONDERFUL week at this condo. The condo location is ideal- a very short walk to the pristene private beach. The master bedroom has a magnificent view of the ocean as well as the other two floors. The condo is immaculate and furnished to make it feel very cozy & comfortable. The nautical decor is lovely. LOVED the Pageant of the Masters (a must see). Also great restaurants (especially Las Brisas). The use of the free shuittle was great also. I have highly recommended this property to all my friends & family. The feel of a small quaint area was a real treat coming from Phoenix az. Would most definitely return. Anna

Perfect Family Vacation Location

My sister and I spent a week at Blue Lagoon with our two sons in mid-June. My expectations, based on the descriptions and photos of the condo were pretty high, but the real thing exceeded my expectations. The condo is very spacious, and the three-level lay-out means that you can find quiet moments when you need them. The views from the main-level deck are great; we enjoyed morning coffee and evening drinks there almost every day. The decor is just lovely and there are lots of little extras like shampoo, lotion and laundry soap provided. The complex has two pools, a tennis court, and the spacious beach is just a 2-minute stroll from the condo. The owners provide everything you need for a great day at the beach, including chairs, umbrellas, a cooler and towels. There are three good restaurants within a short walk of the condo, and Laguna Beach offers many, many more excellent choices. There is also a supermarket and large drugstore within a few blocks of the condo. The owners really have thought of everything. We have stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years, and this one is hard to beat. Leyna, San Francisco Bay Area

Our 3rd Time at Blue Lagoon

This property is truly fantastic. Our family has been back 3 times in the last 2 years. We find it the perfect place to truly relax with our 3 children (ages 14, 10, and 8). The view of the ocean and sunset is phenomenal and the sound of the waves is soothing. The quiet location is wonderful with ready access to the beach, tennis, and pool. Beautiful tide pools are just down the beach and dolphin sightings are frequent. This time we saw a pod of 6 dolphins playing and breeching in the surf with a group of surfers. In addition to the easy access to the wonders of nature, the access to the town of Laguna Beach and broader Orange and San Diego counties is also wonderful. There are several very good restaurants in Laguna and surrounding communities. The property itself is very comfortable with three levels. Each room has a nice wide screen TV (several have DVD players) and the cable programming is extensive. The furniture is comfortable and the design is fitting of a beach condo. Everything in the condo is well-maintained and very orderly. There is every kind of beach equipment a family could want. We find great peace and relaxation whenever we come to Blue Lagoon and this property in particular. We cannot wait for our next opportunity to visit.

Great winter holiday for the family

Our family enjoyed a delightful winter getaway in Blue Lagoon. The condo was outstanding with lovely ocean views, great access to beach, pool, and tennis courts, and was extremely comfortable. The decor was tasteful and there was ample access to broadband internet and top-notch cable TV. We were made to feel very welcome and it was great not being all cooped up in a crowded hotel room. Everyone had plenty of space for relaxing. We also enjoyed the very close access to the Montage resort where we had 2 very good meals. The beach at Blue Lagoon is private and beautiful. Waking up to the sound of the ocean every morning was extraordinarily soothing. We will be back again.
