Good location, details lacking, scary concept of liability
Clean and safe, nothing grand, cold shower 5 out of 7 days although I got up early to accommodate hot water schedule, never more than lukewarm, no sink in second bath. The scariest thing for an American is they made us pay for damage to a cable out in the parking area on the street allegedly done by a fellow who stopped by to give us an estimate. No one actually saw him break the cable, but since he would not pay they took it out of our cash deposit, claiming I signed away my rights in the Spanish contract I signed at midnight check in. Not a lot of money, but do you really want to accept such risk? What if you order pizza and the delivery guy runs over their guard's foot? By their reckoning you would be liable because he was coming to you. Of course, we self reported and paid for a dish WE broke in our room, no problem. THEIR concept of your liability appears to know no bounds. VERY SCARY! Particularly so in a foreign country where you do not know your rights. This is my fourth stay through VRBO. All others were fine.
