Schlossblick - Cozy attic apartment near bavarian dream castle Neuschwanstein

Charming and cozy attic apartment with high ceilings, exposed beams, sunny west-facing balcony, fireplace and open room for living/ dining. Our lovely apartment is your romantic hideaway if you are a couple visiting the farytale castles and enchanting landscape around. Are you travelling with your familiy? Your kids will find games, dvd´s, painting stuff and a lot of other things to have fun with, while the adults relaxing at the balcony or enjoing a cool beer from the towns brewery. We also provide a baby chair and stroller. Our apartment is for all generations - everybody finds a favorite place to have fun, to take a deep breath, to relax and enjoy the time. It´s your holiday - we would love to be part of your special memories.

Our 80 sqm apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, directly below King Ludwig II fairytale castle Neuschwanstein and overlooking the castle Hohenschwangau. Leave your car at our parking lot direct in front of the apartment (for free) and stroll to the Alpsee (15 minutes walk) on the ascent to the castles. Walk all the way up to the kings castles or catch a horse drawn carriage (don´t forget to buy your ticket before). You can start many beautiful walkes/ hikes/ bike rides at the apartment for every condition and age. Or you start your day with a swim. Nearly around every corner, you will find a lake. The nearest are: Forggensee (swimming, diving, kajaking, sailing, ...), Schwansee (swimming, ice skating in winter times), Alpsee (swimming), Bannwaldsee (swimming, kajaking) and lots more. Winter times are for cross-country skiing (trail starts 5 minutes away), skiing & snowboarding (if it´s enough snow around, you can skii on a small hill with great view on Neuschwanstein castle - if it´s not enough snow, you go to Austria/ Leermoos which is just around the corner), ice skating/ ice hockey/ curling on the lakes around, sleigh rides or just for walks enjoying winter wonderland.

The next village is Schwangau (very charming, old bavarian farm houses) in 2.6 km and the lovely city Füssen in 4.2 km (train station). Very famous church "Wieskirche" (baroque) is just 30 Minutes/ 25 km away. Schloss Linderhof, also a castle of König Ludwig II, is just 50 minutes (54 km) away. Bavarias capital Munich is a 1.50 hour drive away. A 1.15 hour drive (65 km) brings you to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and to Zugspitze, top of Germany. Cruise the famous "Romantische Straße" or "Deutsche Alpenstraße" to catch a glimpse on lush green meadows, happy cows, dark forests, small lakes, vibrant villages - sometimes dreamy - sometimes medival, outstanding baroque/ rococo buildings....
Even Austria is not far. Our apartment is located just 15 minutes from the border (by car) and 115 km to Innsbruck (1.50 hour drive).
