Cozy rustic cabin in the Heartland of Florida!

Get away from the bustling city life with this charming cedar cabin. Connect with nature when you wake up to a beautiful Florida sunrise over 100 acres of privately-owned, open landscape. From hiking to swimming to roasting marshmallows by the fire, there is something for everyone at this South Florida home away from home.

COVID-19 UPDATE: All of our rental spaces are thoroughly cleaned by a professional cleaning crew, and we are allowing more time in-between bookings in order to keep our guests and crew safe. We ask that all guests on the property maintain a safe social distance from other people in shared areas, and please be extra attentive to cleaning up after yourselves! Thank you!

A charming, rustic cabin with 12-foot ceilings; get the "log cabin" experience with all of the modern amenities such as a screened-in porch with ceiling fan. Other amenities include a kitchen, a bathroom, a television and a large DVD collection for those rainy afternoons. Walk the nature trails, or relax by the public pool under one of our tiki huts. Fire pit available for evening marshmallow roasts.

Great Little Cabin

The cabin was very clean and cozy and the area around it is beautiful. The host was extremely nice and helped with all of our questions very quickly. There was even a mistake on my part on how long I thought I had booked the cabin and they were extremely accommodating and understanding. I would definitely recommend this place!

Perfect weekend getaway

Very nice comfotable cabin in a quiet location. Pool was perfect! Even watched hangliding lessons from our porch. We definitely would consider that cabin again.

Great place to relax and spend time together

Me and my teenager daughter loved the cabin! Planed to the smallest details of the guest needs. Welcoming crew, who assisted in any problem we had. Communication was always quick and highly efficient. I'll remark the excellent arrival instructions.

Wonderful Getaway

The amazing feature of this property is how quiet it is; being away from the hustle and bustle allowed us to decompress and enjoy the near solitude of the cabin and surrounding area. Yet we were close enough to civilization to enjoy a nice meal and tour a museum. We'll definitely return and stay longer.

Perfect cabin

My wife and i stayed at the cabin as we were in the area to explore the local rivers and creeks. The cabin and the property was easy to find, clean and relaxing. We enjoyed the seclusion and the grounds. Perfect spot to sit on the porch or tiki bar area to relax at the end of the day. We look forward to coming back.

Pleasant and restful

If you are wanting to stay in a nice comfortable place away from crowds, noise and traffic, this cabin may be just what you need. My husband and I stayed for a week with an elderly dog. It was perfect for us!

Great place to stay

Cozy cabin located within 15-20 minutes of two different towns with grocery stores/gas stations/restaurants etc. Also within a 2 hour drive of anything south Florida (Miami, West Palm Beach, Fort Myers, Everglades). Lots of day trips were easy to accommodate from this location. Quiet and peaceful, away from the highway, lots of space.

Exactly what we wanted!!!

Me and my daughter were looking for a relaxing place where we could start our vacation and share with our fury friends, this is exactly what we were looking for, cozy, clean, comfortable and with an open field, we even had the oportunity to see there tandem hand gliding. And to top it all off super attentive and communicating hosts. Thank you for making our stay what we hoped it would be!!!

Wonderful Stay

We were delighted this cabin was as advertised but the beautiful & serene environment was a bonus! The cabin was comfortable and cozy and provided the relaxing get away we were seeking. Our host was punctual and professional in answering the few questions we had. We hope to return to this amazing sanctuary in the near future.

Quiet break from reality

Check was easy. Perfectly secluded from the city life. Woke up to enjoy my coffee with the sunrise while the rooster calling and the cows mooing. I will definitely return for another break from reality!

Very relaxing - great host

We enjoyed our 3-day stay in the log cabin at The Florida Ridge. We love the outdoors and enjoyed the privacy of the setting. Everything was as stated in the description. The host was very prompt to respond to our questions - even though we arrived on a holiday. Would definitely return again sometime.

On chilly nights, bundle up by a campfire with some marshmallows and a guitar, and enjoy the accompaniment of humming crickets. The night sky is littered with millions of stars as far as you can see, one of the many perks of zero light pollution and peaceful solitude. Relax by the pool under the shade of a tiki on those sunny Florida afternoons. And if you catch us during rainy season, hang out on the porch and watch the incredible work of Mother Nature as storms roll across the field and quash the heat of the summer.
