Brand new construction custom built by the owner. The Trappers cabin will take you back to a time long ago with its wood walls & rustic feel surrounded by wildlife mounts. Whether you are coming to town to fish the local creeks or Lake Erie, go on a hiking, or covered bridge tour or simply relaxing on a vacation, we have the place for you.

Bedroom 1: Queen bed; Bedroom 2: 2 Queen beds - Max 6 ppl
1 spa style bath with walk in shower
Full kitchen with all ammenities including a handmade kitchen table

We rented both cabins for our weekend family getaway. Plenty of room for the kids to play, nice and quiet. The cabins were clean and had everything we needed. This was our third time staying here and we hope to come back again!

House was great for our stay. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit area. It was perfect for evening fires and morning coffee and tea. It is a short drive to Erie Bluffs State Park and about 25 minutes to downtown Erie. One drawback was the spotty wifi combined with poor cellular coverage (Verizon users). Kitchen had everything we needed to cook there. Bathroom was nice and had plenty of towels. There was plenty of parking. There is a good fish cleaning area in the out building with laundry.

Nice and clean little place with everything we needed to enjoy a family getaway. It’s away from the busyness of downtown Erie, but not far enough away to be an issue. Will stay again!

Relaxing Retreat

So nice to visit family and stay in a cabin with all of the necessities of home! A friendly family from the cabin next door enhanced our stay by hosting a friendly bonfire!

I stayed here with my husband and two kids to attend the Conneaut D-Day event and it was great. Very close to everything we needed and we got a lot of fishing in at Elk Creek and Presque Isle. The place was very clean and spacious and had all the amenities we would need. The outside area was also well kept and very nice! We really enjoyed our stay.
