Brand new construction custom built by the owner. The Trappers cabin will take you back to a time long ago with its wood walls & rustic feel surrounded by wildlife mounts. Whether you are coming to town to fish the local creeks or Lake Erie, go on a hiking, or covered bridge tour or simply relaxing on a vacation, we have the place for you.

Bedroom 1: Queen bed; Bedroom 2: 2 Queen beds - Max 6 ppl
1 spa style bath with walk in shower
Full kitchen with all ammenities including a handmade kitchen table
Sectional sofa and flat screen TV
Patio area with picnic table and grill - shared with neighboring cabin.

We have been staying here for a few years now and everything is just right. Always clean. Love having a washer and dryer on site and the fish cleaning station. Jeff is a great host.

I stayed here with my husband and two kids to attend the Conneaut D-Day event and it was great. Very close to everything we needed and we got a lot of fishing in at Elk Creek and Presque Isle. The place was very clean and spacious and had all the amenities we would need. The outside area was also well kept and very nice! We really enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing Retreat

Weekend getaway in Erie

We had a wonderful time. We rented both cabins which worked out well for our family. Close to water park, zoo and fishing. The owner was super nice. Would highly recommend!!

Great cottage for fishing trip

Cottage is perfect for a fishing trip to Erie - went with father, brother and son. Great location, clean and well-equipped. Hope to stay many times in future.
