Lake View Cabins at Yarborough Landing-our most recent addition! We now have multiple cabins available! The Lake View Cabins at Yarborough Landing are newly remodeled small cabins with a loft bedroom. The cabin overlooks Millwood Lake. This cabin has the best location on the lake. Your rear balcony overlooks the landing, boat dock and pier, and is the ideal launch point for hunting and fishing. Millwood Lake is known for natural beauty, along with being a top sportsman’s lake and bird watching hot spot. This cabin has a double bed downstairs, two chairs, two twin beds upstairs, dish network, free WiFi to our guests, microwave, stove/oven, full size refrigerator, kitchen sink, bathroom/shower. Many restaurants, Walmart, etc, are in Ashdown, 10 minutes away. If you are looking for the best spot on the lake to relax, compete in an event, or launch your outdoor adventure, it begins here!

Fishing getaway

Great overall place to stay. If you’re on a fishing trip the boat ramp is in your backyard.

Great experience

This quaint little cabin was a great place to vacation with the family. The property had everything we needed. The owner was very responsive and addressed our few needs immediately. Will definitely be staying here again.

easy to find.nice walk down to lake.access to food and drink,15 minutes to town...surprise golf course and pizza and wings 2 miles away...unit was clean and pleasent to stay..

Basic cabin, as advertised.

We booked this for the April 8th eclipse and were thrilled with the location and the weather (fortunately). The price was right and appropriate for the furnishings. If you can spend most of your time outside or on the water, this is a great location.

Quaint and a bit chic. These tiny cabins somehow feel grand and bouyant. Fantastic view. Comfy bed. Nicely equipped kitchen. And a sitting balcony to boot. Well done. Thank you for hosting. It was perfect.

Th exhaust fan in bathroom didn’t work and the gravel area could have used a grading to fill potholes. The bathroom faucets in the tub could use some work( water getting behind wall. Other than these minor issues, We enjoyed the stay.

Absolutely the best

We went for our family vision retreat. I was sad there was no swimming but I found (from the neighborhood kids that are a fanatic) people there just jump right in gators and all lol. I did not! We seen a couple gators but it’s just nature they just watched us fish off the pier from a distance. The lot is being worked on so we loved having the pier to our selves for fishing and quality time. We did hire a guide for Saturday fishing and came home with 10 crappie ready to cook. We had Macky over at mill wood fishing guide. We traveled up to hot spring the next day and did a little sight seeing. My husband is already planning his guys trip with dad and brother he loved it so much. I will say don’t just put your boat in that water unless u can see down there. Now about the cabin it had a beautiful view from the balcony. The town folk were super friendly. The bed was super soft but it sleeps 6 so I just moved. We ate at the fish bowl which was delicious. Walmart was a few minutes away. There is a grill and fire pit across the way. I was told no body would mind if we used it but I didn’t have time. We give it a 5 out of 5 and will be back plenty more times. We will bring the kids next time but I’m not sure where they can swim at still lol

This is a great place and love coming to Yarborough on Lake Millwood. These cabins make it easy and enjoyable to enjoy the lake.

Sisters get away

My sisters and I wanted a weekend get away, found this little Gem. Adorable, Amazing sunset, wonderful place agnes the prince was just as Great. We would definitely return.

Very accommodating!

The cabin was most adequate for a weeks getta way for two people. The neighbors were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I needed a part fir my boat motor. The neighbor not only helped me find a boat motor repair shop that had the part he insisted we use his shop and tools to make the repair. Just an outstanding little community. Not a huge selection of restaurants in Ashdown but those that are there are just down home good. If you've never navigated Millwood lake I suggest you talk to as many locals as you can, they'll all give you good advice. This lake is shallow and full of stumps. You must know where to navigate or run the risks of damaging your boat! Also, lots of gators on this lake, give them a wide berth, it's their home. This is strictly a fishing lake, no water sports. So if you want a relaxing fishing getaway this is the place.

Very relaxing weekend!

We had the best time. Check in was super easy! As soon as we got all settled in, we drove down to the boat ramp just right behind the cabin to go fishing off the pier. The locals were super friendly. The restaurant next to the cabin is closed due to covid, just fyi. We ate at the Fish bowl just a few miles up the road. Super yummy! Also we ate breakfast at Jim's Place. Most delicious homemade biscuits. Lots of good fishing at Millwood Lake State Park but we caught 10+ crappie off the pier behind the cabin. The cabin was well stocked (may just need a cookie pan for making a pizza) and beds were super comfy! Thanks for a great weekend!

The cabin was very cute and modern on the inside. Having an oven, refrigerator/freezer and microwave was very nice. I loved that the cabin is within walking distance to the Yarborough Landing boat ramp.

Great location for fishing Millwood

We had three guys coming from three towns in Arkansas and Oklahoma. Not a huge space, but the cabin had everything we needed for a weekend fishing on the lake. You can see the boat ramp and can be in and out of the lake in no time.

Cabin

Nice place to stay would of like a large frying pan because all that was supplied was a small one for like two eggs max and maybe a baking sheet as cooking was a bit tricking with what is supplied had to buy foil to use . Also found used foil in the refrigerator and found a piece of meat and foil in the oven. Other than that everything was clean and in good working order.

Very convenient for a fishing trip. Better bring your own food.. Ashdown has little to offer beyond Sonic. Jakes BBQ is good but like everything else it closes at 8pm.

Gorgeous Cabin on the Lake!

This cabin was absolutely amazing. It sits right on the boat ramp off the lake. It's an amazing sight. Beautiful sunsets. The cabin was remodeled and it is by far much nicer than any hotel we've stayed at. The hosts are extremely responsive and very hospitable. The cabin has everything you need. The Blue Water Bayou restaurant, which is right next to the cabin, was delicious! Great creole food!!!
