Cottage of 55 m² on the ground floor in a typical old renovated house, it can accommodate 6 people.

For nature lovers, come and admire the fauna and flora of the Baie des Veys where the second largest seal colony is located in France.
The village of Grandcamp-Maisy is an ideal starting point for visiting the region, located between Omaha beach and Utah beach.

This was a perfect place for our family. Close to all of the Normandy sites. Very comfortable beds. Super easy check-in. The back yard/garden area was perfect for our kids. A nice, calm get away.

Lovely stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Grandcamp Maisy is a lovely fishing village with a beautiful beach. It’s ideally located for all the D-day memorials & museums. Would definitely return.

Perfect Property

We visited the local area within 50 miles and used this property as a base. It was absolutely perfect....we had no complaints whatsoever and would definitely stay there again. The town was lovely too.

This is a charming house broken up into 3 rentals, that is a short walk from the town water front. It is a short driving distance from all the D-Day sites, and the beautiful Mont Saint Michael is about an hour away. The host was easy to talk too and responsive.

Ideal location

The gite was so bright and welcoming as we walked through the door we could immediately relax after many days of travelling.It is ideally situated for visiting the DDay beaches and other destinations such as Bayeau.A minutes drive away is a Carrefour and another minute further and you are in the pretty village of Grandchamp-Maisy.Here you will find a daily fish market,not to be missed. After a day of touring the sites it was great to return to our little home away from home.

Convenient for what we wanted

We had an enjoyable stay and found the apartment to be beautifully clean and quite well appointed. It did not make it clear in the description that it was one of three apartments in the property.

Nice house (& garden) in a quiet neighbourhood, close to lots of historical sites

Nice house, quietly located close to the harbour of the village and centrally located for numerous visits to historical sites. The interior looks bigger in the pictures than in real but is definitely sufficent for 4 persons. When 6, 2 additional persons have to sleep on sleep couch in living area, that does not look like superconvenient (we were just 2). Lots of natural light coming in. Garden south/south-west located. Big parking space. We had a nice stay.

Tolle Ferienwohnung

Wir waren zwei Wochen mit unseren beiden Kindern (11 und 13) in der Wohnung. Es war richtig schön, und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Beschreibung stimmte mit den Gegebenheiten vor Ort überein, so dass man genau wusste, was einen „erwartet“. Vorteilhaft ist, dass wir direkt vor der Haustüre parken konnten. Die Wohnung ist schön aufgeteilt, und hat eine kleine, gut ausgestattete Küche. Die beiden Schlafzimmer liegen an entgegengesetzten Enden der Wohnung, was wir sehr schön finden. Richtige Schränke gibt es in den Schlafzimmern nicht, aber die Klamotten haben wir auch in den zwei vorhandenen Kommoden gut untergebracht. Die Klotüre quietscht etwas, aber das hat Charme und passt zum Haus. 😊 uns hat es nicht gestört. Das Haus an sich ist gut aufgeteilt. Jede Wohnung hat eine kleine eigene Terrasse und einen Grill, und wir konnten den Garten mitbenutzen. Der Garten ist tatsächlich auch groß genug zum Ballspielen. Zur Wohnung gehört auch eine Wäscheleine, so dass man Badesachen oder Handtücher bei gutem Wetter auch prima draußen trocknen kann. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern klappte absolut problemlos. Der Check-in erfolgt ganz einfach per Schlüsseltresor. Unser Sonnenschirm war defekt, wurde aber innerhalb eines Tages gegen einen neuen ausgetauscht. Die Lage des Hauses ist gut, es ist recht ruhig, aber man ist in 10min zu Fuß am Hafen und damit auch am Strand. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
